Aurora got out of bed and saw Mason walking out of the bathroom. He had already changed out of his hospital gown and was now dressed in a crisply ironed shirt and suit pants.

She immediately walked up to him. “Your wound hasn’t healed yet—why are you putting on clothes? Didn’t the doctor say it could stick to your wound? It’ll be painful when you have to take it off.”
