How could she have forgotten to take clothes with her?
Wait, she thought, Dylan is blind. He can’t see anyway.
Stella bit her lip. Even though she knew Dylan couldn’t see, the thought of walking in front of him naked still felt strange.
Damian had just been looking at his phone when he heard movement. He quickly put the phone away.
As soon as he sat up, he saw a naked woman emerging from the bathroom.
Damian’s eyes widened. Seeing a naked woman appear suddenly would surprise any man. It caused Damian’s pupils to dilate in surprise.
The train of his thought ran swiftly. He thought, “What is she doing? Could she have figured out that I am pretending to be blind and is trying to seduce me? No... She probably just thought that since I can’t see, there is no need to be modest.”
Stella cautiously tiptoed out like a thief and started rummaging through the dresser for clothes.
Little did she know that her beautiful figure was in full view of Damian.
Her youthful body was indeed stunning, with droplets of water occasionally sliding down her skin as if they were sliding directly into Damian’s heart.
Damian’s Adam’s apple bobbed involuntarily.
He was, after all, a man—a man nearly overwhelmed by desire!
He was acutely aware of the changes in his body.
To be honest, he had never felt this way before.
Even his mother had once suggested that there might be something wrong with him, given that he’d reached this age without ever showing an interest in women.
This situation proved that his mother’s worry was unnecessary.
After Stella found her clothes, she scurried back to the bathroom like a little monkey, her comical movements making Damian chuckle.
Stella froze in her tracks, turning to look at him.
He quickly feigned a cough.
Only then did Stella feel safe enough to return to the bathroom.
When she emerged, her hair was wet, the curls hanging like black seaweed.
She was dressed now, but as she stood in front of Damian, he could almost still see that beautiful figure through his sunglasses.
Perhaps this was what a mermaid looked like.
"I’ll take you to the bathroom. Do you need help with your shower?" Stella asked, blushing at the thought.
She had never given a man a shower before.
Damian noticed her blush and replied, "No."
She helped him to the bathroom.
Just as Stella was about to leave, she noticed something shocking and quickly fled the bathroom.
Damian removed his sunglasses and looked down, feeling a bit embarrassed at the sight of the telltale bulge around his crotch...
Stella sat on the bed, nervously wringing her hands. Was this really their wedding night?
By rights, since he was blind, she should take the initiative.
But...
Stella covered her face, uncertain of how to approach him.
He had already had a physiological response. At twenty-eight, being blind, he probably hadn’t been with a woman before either.
What should she do?
When Damian finished his shower, Stella helped him dry his hair.
Then, they both climbed into bed.
"Do you want to take off your glasses?" Stella asked cautiously, reaching out to him.
Damian instinctively blocked her with his hand.
"No."
"Wouldn’t that be uncomfortable?"
"I don’t want to scare you."
Stella withdrew her hand.
She remembered that there had been a blind man in her town when she was a child. His eyes were terrifying—one had only a white iris, and the other bulged outward, half-open with just a sliver of black.
She had been terribly afraid of him back then.
Thinking that the man before her might have similar eyes, she felt a twinge of fear.
She was just a young woman, and it was natural to be scared.
Stella turned off the light, and only then did Damian remove his sunglasses.
"Um, I have the day off tomorrow. There are a lot of things we need to buy for the house. How about we go shopping?" Stella suggested.
"Okay." Damian agreed almost immediately, without thinking.
Stella couldn’t find anything else to talk about after that.
She felt her heart pounding in her chest.
Should she take the initiative?
Should she start by helping him undress, or should she kiss him first?
