Chapter 106 You Should Take Medicine If You Were Sick

She didn't expect it would be fine if she didn't say it. As soon as she said it, Vanny pouted and said, "Mom is not obedient. I just knocked on the door, but you ignored me!"

"Ah? Did you knock on the door?" Zoey was embarrassed. It was perhaps because she was too tired last night and slept so soundly in the morning that she did not know anything.

Vanny was unhappy. "That's right. After knocking for so long, only my dad noticed me! I don't like you anymore!"

Zoey didn't know whether to laugh or cry and coaxed the little kid for a long time. "All right, Mom is wrong. I won't do it next time. Can Vanny forgive Mom?"

After talking a lot, Vanny finally revealed a smile again.

So, she quickly finished her meal and sent Vanny to kindergarten with Wyatt.

Sitting in the car, she did not expect Vanny to become awkward again. He stammered, "Mom, can I not go today?"

"Why?" Zoey heard it and felt very strange. Vanny had always been very obedient and had never said things like not going to school. But today, how did he...

"A child broke my school bag. I, I don't want the teacher to be angry," he lowered his little head and said.

"Really?"

After Zoey heard it, she took the bag and checked it. She found that the bag's stitching was broken. It seemed to be torn apart violently. She was a little unhappy. "Why didn't you tell me last night?"

"I'm afraid you won't be happy," Vanny said with a bitter face.

Zoey sighed. She guessed the bag had been torn apart during the fight, so it was not a big deal. "Then I'll talk to the teacher later and ask her to change a new school bag for you."

"All right."

The kindergarten distributed all the children's bags. So, there was no place to buy them. She could only tell the teacher to change it to a new one.

It was not a big deal.

Sure enough. When they arrived at the kindergarten, the teacher agreed and promised she would not let other children bully Vanny.

Only then did Zoey feel assured and go to the company.

Wyatt told her, "If there's anything, call me. Also, Felix has already given you all the information. You should be able to see it when you turn on the computer."

"Well, all right."

When they were apart, she was about to open the door and get out of the car. But he pressed her down and kissed her violently.

When she got out of the car, she was a little dizzy. She only calmed down when she saw Jade.

Jade had been waiting in front of her office for a long time. When she saw her, she sneered, "You still have the face to come? I was wondering how you would dare to come!"

She glanced at her indifferently. "You are considering too much. How could I not dare to come? I am not a wanted criminal."

"You still have the face to say it! You, you say what good things you did yesterday! Ah? My father was so angry that he was in the hospital! Are you still human!" Jade was so angry that her eyes turned red.

"Oh? Was he in the hospital? Then why did you, a good daughter, come to me instead of taking care of him? Did I ask him to go to the hospital? I stayed at home and didn't go anywhere last night. If you don't believe me, my Wyatt can testify for me."

"You, you!" Jade's eyes were completely red, and the string of rationality in her mind finally snapped.

Ignoring that she was still outside the door, she raised her hand and was about to slap Zoey in front of everyone.

Zoey had already thought of this move. She took a step back and grabbed her wrist in time. Her eyes were as cold as ice. She looked at her and said, "Remember your identity, Mr. Walden. You are the only one in your family in the Yate’s at present. Don't get caught by me and be chased out!"

"You, you are a demon!" Jade could not help but shout. "You are not Zoey. You are not my cousin! You are a demon! You are a monster!"

Zoey sneered, "I think you are sick in the head. If you are sick, take medicine, don't come to work!"
