Chapter 109 Found Something Wrong

After she was off work, Wyatt came to pick her up as usual.

Ignoring everyone's gazes, Zoey entered the car and said with a smile, "Do you want to change your car next time?"

"Why?"

"This car is too high-profile. I feel that every time you come, you attract everyone's attention. No one looks at me!" Zoey stuck out her chest and said.

He drove a luxury car that belonged to the Phantom series. It was a limited-edition car in the world. It could arouse public attention when it appeared on the street. Everyone who saw it would have to stay away from it. They felt afraid they would have a car crash and couldn't afford it even if they sold everything.

"I thought you liked it," he said faintly.

She was stunned for a moment and then remembered that she was vain in the past. When she went out with him, she liked him to drive a luxury car to satisfy her vanity.

But she did not think so at present. No matter how good the car was, it could not be better than the person.

Thinking of this, she laughed, "Yes, no matter how good the car is, it can't compare to you."

Speaking of which, she paused. Why did it feel so awkward?

Wyatt glanced at her with a faint smile. "Although your analogy is a bit strange, I still accept it."

Zoey blushed. "You only know how to pick words. By the way, where are we going now?"

It was also nonsense.

The driver at the front shouted, "We will be at the kindergarten soon."

They had arranged their time well. Wyatt came to pick her up after work. They drove to the kindergarten. And finally, they went home together.

After returning home, she would sometimes cook if she had the interest. Then, everyone would eat together. After eating, it would be the parent-child activity time. In the end, Zoey helped Vanny bathe himself and sent him to bed. Wyatt went to the study room to deal with work.

At last, he would go to sleep at about half past eleven.

The days were quiet and harmonious. She was satisfied with this life and felt she used to be a big fool.

She put warm water in the small bathtub and put in the two little yellow ducklings that Vanny liked the most. She greeted him, "Come, Mom will take off your clothes for you!"

Vanny hesitated for a moment. "Mom, I've grown up. My teacher said that I couldn't let others take off my clothes. I need to take a bath myself!"

Zoey smiled, "All right, you take a bath yourself. I'll wait for you outside the door!"

Even though she said so, she was still prepared to take off his clothes for him and watch him enter the bathtub before going out. Otherwise, what if something dangerous happened?

But before she reached out, she saw Vanny suddenly shrink as if he was resistant to her touch.

She was helpless. "Okay, Vanny has grown up and has your secrets. Then mom won't help you."

Vanny nodded vigorously, so shy that he did not dare to look at her.

Zoey had no choice but to go out.

She was a little worried. She stood at the door and did not leave. Instead, she carefully listened to the movements in the room.

She waited for a while but did not hear anything. She could not help but look inside. When she did so, she frowned deeply.

What was that on Vanny's shoulder? And on his legs?

That was...

She couldn't hold it in anymore and rushed in. Her voice changed as she grabbed his arm and asked loudly, "Vanny, where did the mark on your shoulder come from?"

In her anger, her hands were trembling slightly. However, because she did not want to scare the child, she tried to lower her voice, but her expression was ugly.

On Vanny's small shoulder, there was a blue and purple fingerprint on his white and tender skin. It was clear, and there were even several on his legs!
