"I'll be back soon."
Zoey was anxious. Why couldn't he come back now?
She sat up again and felt that she could not calm down no matter what. "Where did you go? How is Vanny?"
"You're awake? I'll be right back!"
He no longer spoke after he finished speaking.
She waited for a while and saw that there was no answer. She angrily threw her phone aside and was about to leave the bed.
No waiting! Men were all big pigs! She was going to see her son! She was not at ease!
Unfortunately, Wyatt's movements were also fast. After she opened the door, she saw that he was already standing at her door.
She paused and looked at him with a hostile expression. She said stiffly, "Move aside. I want to find Vanny!"
"Vanny is here," Wyatt ignored her struggles, held her in his arms, and said to her.
"Where?"
She looked over curiously.
"Here."
Wyatt brought her back in again and pushed open a small door under her puzzled gaze.
She widened her eyes and thought that it was a bathroom or something. But it turned out to be the door that led to the next door.
Another familiar person was in the room, other than Vanny, who was lying on the bed. When she heard the noise, she turned around and asked, "Why are you so reckless? Why didn't you knock on the door when you came in?"
Zoey looked at Vanny and then at her. She was stunned on the spot. Wasn't this her mother-in-law? Why was she here?
Wyatt said helplessly, "We made a big noise when we saved him. We couldn't hide the news. Mom knew something had happened to Vanny, so she rushed over."
After hearing this, Anna coldly snorted and said ruthlessly, "Yes, if I didn't have some people, you would have hidden such a big thing. Tell me, who did you offend? Ah? Kidnapping and poisoning? How can they do such things?"
"If this goes on, are they going to kill people? My grandson, he has a hard life."
Zoey's face turned green and red. Although Anna said "you" seemed to include Wyatt, who couldn't tell that she was talking to her?
She also felt that she had implicated Vanny.
Wyatt frowned after seeing her expression and looked at Anna. "Mom, Vanny hasn't woken up yet. Don't talk nonsense. She is also anxious about this matter. You can't blame her."
"I don't blame her. How would I dare to blame her? She is your heart!" Anna snorted. Sure enough, she did not continue to criticize Zoey. Instead, she said, "About Vanny, I have asked the doctor. He says he will wake up soon."
"Yes, it's fine as long as he can wake up. Mom, I'll have to trouble you this time."
"He's my grandson. Why would you say that it's troublesome?" Anna shook her head. "You guys, you were the ones who insisted on taking Vanny back. But you didn't look after him well when you took him back. If that's the case, you might return him to us."
"No!"
When Zoey heard this, she became anxious. It was not easy for her to take Vanny back. So how could she let her bring him back?
Anna snorted and said to Wyatt, "Look, I don't know what medicine she took. She didn't even look at Vanny in the past, and now she cherishes him so much."
What she was angry about was, if she cherished him, how did Vanny become like this?
In her opinion, it was his mother who failed to fulfill her duty that Vanny encountered such a thing!
Zoey couldn't say anything but wanted to cry again.
Wyatt felt sorry for her and spoke to Anna, "Mom, don't say anymore. You can't blame her for this matter. It's the fault of the kindergarten. We have decided not to go to school there."
