Chapter 181 Distress

"She has gone back to rest. These days, she has been taking care of little young master without sleep or rest. She is already tired. I guess she has already fallen asleep."

"But..." Zoey frowned and looked at her. "So, you mean I can't see Vanny today?"

The old servant lowered his head slightly, his tone still cold. "I don't dare. You can come tomorrow."

"You!"

Zoey was so angry. Couldn't she even see her son?

However, he was neither servile nor overbearing. His tone was respectful, but he did not have the intention to give in. Unless she used her power, she would not be able to see Vanny tonight.

Could it be that she had to ask Wyatt to come over? But he just went back to rest.

She hesitated.

The old servant saw this and added, "You can rest assured. We all watched little young master grow up and took good care of him. He also likes us very much. Nothing will happen to him. You can rest assured."

Zoey had no choice but to hold back her anger again and again before reluctantly saying, "Alright, then take good care of him."

After that, she returned to her room.

She could still force a smile as she spoke to him just now, but now she couldn't smile anymore.

She threw the pillow on the wall angrily. She imagined it was the old servant looking down on her just now.

She grabbed her phone and wanted to find someone to vent her frustration. Her first reaction was to go for Wyatt.

However, she immediately gave up. He had been tired these past few days and had a lot of work to do. He had probably just arrived at the company and was busy dealing with things probably. She could not be so insensible to disturb him.

She changed to call Vivian. "Vivian, are you there?"

Vivian quickly answered. "Hey, why are you calling me?"

She did not tell Vivian that she was in the hospital during these days. So she only thought that she was busy, but she did not know she was in the hospital now.

She endured it, leaned against the headboard, and shrunk into a ball, her tone muffled, "I'm not happy. I want to tell you about the crap things."

"Not happy? What's wrong? Did you quarrel with your man again?" Vivian had just come down from the stage. When she heard her say this, she deliberately found a quiet place to talk to her.

"No, I have a good relationship with him. Don't talk nonsense." She sniffed.

"So what's wrong? Is Vanny disobedient? He's just a child. It's normal for him to be a little willful. Don't take it to heart. Who asked him to be your biological son?" Vivian said.

"Oh, no, I mean my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law doesn't like me. What should I do?" Zoey asked her gloomily.

Vivian scratched her head in embarrassment. "You're making things difficult for me. I don't even have a boyfriend. How would I know about this? The relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is difficult to deal with. Wait for me for a while. I'll go online and see if there are any guides."

"Forget it. What guide? It's not like you're playing games!" Zoey laughed in anger. "I knew you wouldn't say anything good."

"Then what should I do? I have no experience, but what happened to her? I remember you said that she was good to you. Why has it changed now?"

Zoey hesitated and said, "Something happened at home recently. She thought it was my fault, so she didn't like me. Just now, she didn't let me look at Vanny. She asked someone to block me outside the door as if I were a bad person with bad intentions."

It was the most painful thing for her. She could treat her worse but couldn't consider her an evil person. Vanny was her son, her biological son!

She felt wronged in her heart!
