Chapter 19 "The History"

The phone in the corner of the dressing table was on. Only then did Zoey retract her gaze, the smile lingering on her lips.

Although the trending topic on the Internet quickly subsided, the Windsor’s official Twitter was still in full swing. The comment section had become a large-scale jealousy-gathering spot, and all of them were calling for the charming CEO couple to debut in the center.

/They are so perfect for each other! I'm envious. T.T!/

/Both have their own business! I want to support them to be a couple!/

/I think their relationship is promising! I am an early fan and maybe the first fan!/

Although Zoey seldom paid attention to online news, this time, her hand could not stop sliding on her phone and looking.

She seemed to have experienced the joy of watching gossip news.

The fans soon occupied the latest Twitter post. The post on the top was a photo of Zoey and Wyatt.

She couldn't remember what they were talking about at that time. Zoey nodded slightly and looked at the person beside her gently; her eyes were like spring water. Wyatt, on the other hand, was leaning toward her. His face had a clear and handsome feature and did not have so much expression as usual, but the stars in his eyes were rare to find. Although the photo did not contain his hand under the table, it was easy to guess that he was holding Zoey's hand.

"This photo is perfect."

Even Zoey was in a daze as she watched.

They were just meant for each other.

Her face became a little hot as soon as she thought of this. However, she was reluctant to take her eyes away from the picture. Only from the third person's perspective could one see how different Wyatt's eyes were. Wyatt loved her unreservedly, but as the saying goes, "People never be content and take happiness for granted."

Why had she never cherished such a man before?

Zoey's heart suddenly tightened.

The word "history" had recently skipped out of her mind, and she almost forgot that she came from history. Because of the "history," she could once again have everything she had now and had the happiness that seemed unreal.

Because this happiness was too fleeting, she had to grasp everything in front of her.

The wedding photo was on the dressing table for less than a month. In the picture, there was only indifference and alienation in the bride's eyes.

Zoey turned to look at the mirror. She raised her finger and touched the cold mirror.

The person in the mirror was no longer the "former" person but the "present" person with light in her eyes.

"I have to finish what I need to do one by one..."

Zoey retracted her finger and slowly clenched her hand into a fist.

Howard must have had a lot of doubts about the bidding last time, but she would not offer to explain, which would make Howard more suspicious.

Only Howard went to ask by himself would she be able to pretend herself well.

In the future, there will be more scenes to play.

Thinking about these depressing things, Zoey was somewhat affected. When her eyes swept over the time on the phone screen, she suddenly seemed to remember something.

"Madam, what's the matter?"

Seeing Zoey hurry out of the room, the servant was stunned for a moment and stopped working.

Zoey was a little embarrassed and relieved.

"What time is Vanny’s class over? I want to pick him up."

‘Madam had indeed changed. In the past, she would never take the initiative to ask about the little young master.’

As the servant thought of this, she felt a little gratified for her master.

Of course, as a qualified servant, these psychological activities could not be displayed. She only answered Zoey's question truthfully.

"There is still more than an hour left. Fortunately, there is still enough time."

As Zoey spoke, she had already turned around to call the driver.

To rebuild the relationship between mother and child, Zoey needed to bring the child to school and pick him up after school.
