Chapter 190 Don't Eat Ice Cream

The timing was fleeting. When she woke up the next day, she saw that Wyatt had already left the house. It seemed that the company was busy again.

So she could only put this matter at the bottom of her heart.

Since there was no news of Howard, Ashley was temporarily taken home, and it was estimated that she would not come out to make trouble for a while.

It was rare for her to have a quiet life.

However, she did not know what was going on. Sometimes, she felt flustered and anxious. Her vision turned black. It was probably because the side effects had not healed yet. She did not take it to heart.

It was a minor illness. If not for Wyatt being too busy, coming out early and coming home late every day, thus having no time to talk with her, she would feel much better.

However, it didn't take long before new troubles came.

Her mother-in-law was going to take Vanny to leave the hospital. When she heard the news, she rushed to the hospital.

After she arrived at the ward, Vanny was already dressed in a handsome suit. He was wearing a small blue shirt and a small black vest. The little boy looked very energetic. When he saw her, he immediately rushed up and kissed her face.

She smiled and hugged Vanny. She kissed his tender little face and asked, "Does Vanny miss your mother?"

"Yes, Vanny misses Mom. Why don't you come to see me?" Vanny asked aloud.

Zoey touched his hair and said, "Mom is a little busy. Look, I am here. Let's go. Mom will take you home!"

"OK."

At this time, Anna walked in. When she saw her, she said, "Mom, sorry to trouble you in this period."

"I have someone here to help. It's fine. I can't count on you. Let's go." Anna did not forget to satirize her. She looked behind her and asked, "Where is Wyatt?"

"He is busy. He is still in the company. But he also told me to pick up Vanny. He will probably come back at night." Zoey asked Vanny. "Grandma has been taking care of you for so long. Have you thanked Grandma?"

Vanny immediately told Anna loudly, "Thank you, Grandma!"

When Anna saw Vanny, a smile appeared on her face. "Be good. Grandma should take care of you. Let's go."

The family got into the car and quickly drove home.

Zoey took Vanny's hand and carefully looked at his face. Seeing that his complexion was rosy and full of spirit, it could be seen that he had recovered very well. She couldn't help but feel grateful to Anna. She said, "Mom, let's go home and have tea later before you return. Why don't you rest at home and wait for Wyatt to return?"

She thought she said it out of kindness, but Anna acted as if she did not hear it. She looked out the window and did not speak.

She paused and retracted her gaze, continuing to tease Vanny. "Vanny, what do you want to do when we get home? Why don't you take a shower first?"

"No, I want ice cream!" Ice cream was Vanny's favorite.

"Ice cream, then let Mom see if you are good or not..."

Before she could finish, Anna suddenly said, "You can't eat it! You've just left the hospital and want to eat such cold food. What if you have diarrhea?" She turned to Zoey and said, "It's fine if a child doesn't understand. You're already so old, but you still don't understand? Can Vanny eat ice cream now?"

"Mom, I think Vanny is fine now..." she tried to argue.

The ice cream at home was not the kind that was bought outside. The chef at home made it with the freshest milk. It could not be any safer. She felt it was not a big deal for Vanny to eat one, but Anna disagreed.

"No, Vanny can't eat yet. His body is weak. If he returns to the hospital again, I will feel sorry for him if you don't feel sorry for him." Anna said coldly, her tone unyielding.
