Chapter 212 Ashley's Disappearance

Zoey felt impatient as she was half asleep and half awake, always feeling that there was someone looking at her and touching her from time to time.

By the time he woke up again, it was dawn.

She fumed for a moment as she sat up, so had she just fallen asleep last night?

Then look at the body, the pajamas are properly worn, and the quilt is covered honestly, but the position beside him is icy cold, and it seems that Wyatt has long been gone.

She sat on her bed with an indescribable feeling in her heart.

Leaving so early, maybe he wasn't happy to see his cold face last night?

Maybe, he won't be back tonight either?

A feeling of desolation slowly welled up in my heart, and I couldn't hold back the tears ...

On the other side, Ji Huai Zhi, who had to go out early because of an unexpected situation in the company, received a not so good news as soon as he arrived at the company.

"She's missing?"

He looked at the person in front of him with some surprise.

Asst. Lee nodded and said, "Yes, she's gone, and their family is looking everywhere, thinking it's one of ours."

The person they're talking about is Ashley.

Originally, their family didn't want to disclose the matter of Ashley's disappearance, but they were afraid that Wyatt had laid hands on her and contacted Harvey early.

That's when he learned the truth.

"They think we did it?" Jihuai Zhi asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, after I explained they got anxious and looked everywhere for someone they couldn't find and asked us to step in and help, but I refused." Special Assistant Lee said with an expressionless face.

"Got it."

Wyatt's face didn't change after hearing this, his fingertips pointing at the table, "Most likely afraid of our retaliation, so he sent the person away."

"You're saying ..." Lee's assistant's eyes widened, "you're saying that they actually gave the person away themselves and then backtracked?"

Wyatt nodded wordlessly.

Special Assistant Lee thought for a moment and said with a sigh of relief, "No wonder I didn't think they were in much of a hurry, so that's what it is, so are we going to track them down as well?"

"Go on, don't move too much." Wyatt waved his hand.

"Yes!"

When Special Assistant Lee was out, he rubbed his brow and began to bury himself in the piles of paperwork again.

Zoey felt strange in her heart when she thought of Anna, and she didn't want to see that Manny, so she was very annoyed.

When he went out of the room, he saw at a glance that Fan was playing with Manny, and both of them had smiles on their faces, looking very happy.

She took a deep breath, "Fan, come here!"

Vanny turned around, saw that it was her, and immediately ran over, "Mommy! Are you not feeling well?"

"No."

"But Daddy said you weren't feeling well and told me not to wake you up." Fan said crisply.

She was about to argue, when suddenly her eyes swept over to Manny's face and noticed that she didn't seem to look too good.

She paused and suddenly realized and smiled, "Yeah, a little tired, but I'll be fine after a nap, come on, did you have breakfast?"

She purposely made her words vague, and when she looked at Manny again, she saw that she couldn't suppress a hint of jealousy.

She snorted inwardly, unable to press on now? It seems that the power is not good either.

She purposely raised her voice and said to Vanny, ''Remember to eat enough for breakfast, otherwise how will you have the strength for class later? By the way, what's today's lesson? Why are you playing with the teacher so early in the morning?"

"I came out and met my teacher? Is she living in our house?"
