"Madam, we can set off in a while."
The servant knocked on the door of the bedroom and reminded her of the time in a low voice.
Zoey put on her clothes and responded in front of the mirror.
The person in the mirror was wearing a light-yellow dress and a small coat. She was bright, and her bright colors accentuated her fair skin and delicate facial features.
Zoey patted her dress in satisfaction and walked out of the room with her bag.
"You’re at home?"
Just as she walked to the side of the car, Zoey saw Wyatt sitting in the back row at a glance and immediately exclaimed in surprise.
She had never seen Wyatt since she got up. She had always thought that he was in the company.
"Yes."
Wyatt didn't even look at her as he casually uttered a single syllable. His face was half in the shadows, and it was unclear what he was thinking.
Zoey frowned slightly.
She thought to herself, "It seems that there is something wrong, right?"
"After the last night of passion, the atmosphere between the two of us today should not be like this..."
She sat next to Wyatt. The car engine started and slowly drove away from Windsor family.
"Why didn't you show up at home? Where have you been hiding?"
Zoey had nothing to say, so she stole a glance at Wyatt. For some reason, she felt that the pressure on Wyatt was very low and very cold.
Wyatt still did not turn his head in her direction. Instead, he looked at the scenery outside the window.
"I was busy."
Zoey was choked on the spot. She sat there in a wronged manner and no longer spoke.
Although he was looking out of the window, all of Wyatt's attention was focused on Zoey.
As he felt that she was depressed and obviously unhappy, his eyes dimmed a little. His heart ached, but he was extremely agitated.
At the thought that everything about her could be faked, Wyatt felt like he was a hopeless idiot.
Thus, he forced himself not to pay attention to her, or to care about her.
There was silence all the way.
Zoey was not the kind of person who was bullied for nothing. Moreover, she had lived for a lifetime, so she would never let herself be wronged again.
She still had to ask the question clearly.
"What's wrong with you? You seem to be in a bad mood."
She simply touched a sore spot. It just so happened that she pushed Wyatt's buttons.
The contents of that call came to his ears again. Wyatt suddenly turned his head and looked at Zoey,
"How can you act to this extent? Why are you acting so realistically?"
Wyatt's voice was not loud, but his words were heavy.
Zoey suddenly widened her eyes and looked at him, “What did I do? Wyatt, what's wrong with you now?"
She thought to herself, "I just got up after a sleep. How did everything change?"
Wyatt's eyes were slightly red. He stared at Zoey, wanting to find any fake marks on her face.
But it was useless... Her expression of rebuke, anger, and doubt was so real as if she had really done nothing.
"I told you long ago that I could let you go and give you a chance to leave." Wyatt closed his eyes and took a deep breath, leaning against his seat.
"For the sake of Howard, you kept playing along with me. You’ll never achieve his goals, and it is not worth it."
After saying this, Wyatt closed his mouth completely and closed his eyes to rest in the car, leaving Zoey to be angry.
"Stop the car!"
Zoey suddenly shouted, startling the driver.
"Madam, there is still a way to go from little young master's kindergarten."
"I don't care! Stop the car right now!"
She didn't want to be in the same car as Wyatt anymore. He changed his face like he was flipping through a book and she was left to suffer alone.
The driver looked at Wyatt through the rearview mirror awkwardly, “Mr. Windsor, should I..."
Wyatt's tone was cold, but there was an unquestionable dignity, “Continue driving."
"Let me out!"
Zoey also argued and was about to pull the car door.
