Chapter 46 This Isn’t a Place Just Anyone Can Enter

The woman's had decent looks, but her expression was harsh. She was dressed in the latest collection from Chanel. Clearly, she was a daughter from a wealthy family.

She had no manners, nor any class to speak of. Otherwise, she would not be so rude on such an occasion.

Zoey ignored her, turned away and casually picked up a glass of juice, taking a sip.

She let out a sigh of relief. At least, the juice tasted good.

The woman, enraged by Zoey’s relaxed demeanor, scowled, her eyebrows furrowing angrily, “I'm talking to you! Are you deaf?"

"Oh? Were you talking to me?" Zoey slowly put down the cup, "I'm sorry, my name is not 'hey'."

The woman was stunned for a moment, and then a few snickers came from beside her.

Her face turned red. She had grown up pampered and spoiled, always used to getting her way. Being raised in such an environment, she hardly put anyone in her eyes.

This time, she was brought here by her family to see the world. Although her family had warned her to be careful and not provoke the wrong people. She didn’t expect to encounter someone like Zoey, who wasn’t the least bit affected by her intimidation.

How could she endure it?

What's more, she was being mocked!

How dare she!

The woman strode forward and raised her hand, wanting to hit Zoey, “You got a death wish?"

Did this bitch know who she was? How dare she talk to her like this?

Zoey's eyes flashed, and she grabbed her wrist without showing weakness. She looked at her with a faint smile, "Miss, I advise you to behave yourself. There are many people, many mouths. It wouldn't be good to be seen by others."

Zoey hadn't done anything out of line after coming here, so it was likely someone had been egging this woman on.

Her words were a subtle warning that no one would benefit if they made a scene here.

However, the woman did not understand Zoey’s intention. Instead, she widened her eyes and said, "Who do you think you are to lecture me?"

"Oh? I am nobody, then who are you?" When had Zoey been afraid of anyone? What a joke!

Her harsh words instantly drew a chuckle from the women watching the scene unfold.

The woman became more flustered and raised her voice, “Let go of me! You slut! I’ll call the security! Security, help!"

She suddenly raised her voice and called the security guard over.

Soon, a person in a security uniform walked over, greeted the woman with respect, "Miss Quill. What can I do for you?"

Seeing that her reinforcements had arrived, Miss Quill became more arrogant. She haughtily glared at Zoey, then pointed at her and said, "That woman, I suspect that she sneaked in here. She doesn't have an invitation at all!"

"You should check her thoroughly!"

"Without an invitation? " The security guard seemed to be very familiar with Miss Quill. Without a second thought, he approached Zoey and asked sternly,

"Miss, do you have an invitation? If you do, please show it."

With the serious expression, he had already treated her as someone who had come uninvited.

Zoey almost burst out laughing and shook her head earnestly, “I don't have an invitation."

She was the wife of the Windsor’s' s CEO. Half of the Windsor’s belonged to her. Did she really need an invitation to attend her own family's annual meeting?

What a joke.

The security guard's face darkened at Zoey’s response, and his tone grew harsher, "No invitation? Then I'm afraid I’ll have to ask you to leave immediately!"

"But someone invited me here." Zoey said innocently, blinked at the guard.
