Chapter 63 I Wanted to Sleep with Mommy

These few days, Vanny was taken to Grandma's house and was just brought back by his father. He did not know what had happened to his parents before.

He hugged his mother and asked in confusion, "Mommy, what happened to you? You ignored me when I called you just now. Do you not love me anymore?"

"No. No. Mom accidentally didn't hear what Vanny said. I'm sorry." She tried hard to suppress her emotions, her voice trembling.

Vanny keenly sensed it and asked, "Mom, what's wrong?"

"Mom is fine." She secretly wiped her tears with the back of her hand behind Vanny. She stood up and did not look at Wyatt. She took Vanny's hand and said, "Go back to the room with me and let me take a good look at you."

Evan's small face suddenly blossomed into a smile. "Okay, Mom, I miss you so much."

"Mom misses you too."

They slowly walked out of the study room and did not look back at him.

Wyatt looked at them and had mixed feelings.

There was guilt toward her, as well as inexplicable anger.

Why was she so stubborn? Why did she get dizzy the moment she heard that man's words?

Was he not good enough for her? Or was he still not giving her enough?

He stood there blankly for a long time, unable to vent the frustration in his heart. He suddenly punched the hard surface of the table.

With a bang, the object on the table jumped and attracted his attention.

He hurriedly glanced at the screen. His gaze inadvertently fell at a certain point. Suddenly, he stopped.

In the room, Evan was talking to Zoey about the delicious food he had eaten at his grandmother's house these days.

He counted with his little fingers. "I ate steak and ice cream. I could have eaten two, but Grandma said that children couldn't eat ice cream too much. So I only ate one. I am not happy at all!"

"Oh? Then Mom will give you one tomorrow."

She forced a smile and touched her son's furry head. The sorrow in her heart was temporarily relieved by her son's arrival.

Evan's eyes lit up. "Then Mom, you can't lie to me! Let's pinky swear!" As he spoke, he extended his short little finger.

After they hooked their fingers, Evan rolled his eyes and hugged her. "Mom, can I sleep with you tonight?"

He had been sleeping alone since he was born. He had rarely slept with her.

Hearing this, Zoey felt strange and asked, "What's wrong? Are you afraid of sleeping alone?"

"No, no..." He was a little shy, blushed, and said in a low voice, "When I went to school, my classmate said that he slept with his mother and his mother was fragrant. I, I just wanted to..."

"You want to sleep with your mother, just like him, right? Sure." Zoey agreed immediately. "You will sleep with Mom tonight!"

"Great!"

Evan jumped up, turned around, and rushed outside. "I'll go get my pajamas and my little quilt!"

His movements were so fast that she did not even have time to stop him.

Zoey smiled weakly. Suddenly, she glanced at a black shadow. Her heart lurched, and her face sank.

"What? Are you here to give me the divorce agreement? Give me. I will sign it!" She extended her hand toward him.

After waiting for a while and seeing that he did not move, she could not help but raise an eyebrow. "What? Have you changed your mind? Let me tell you. It is a rare opportunity. Any other time, I wouldn't agree to sign it."

Wyatt gazed at her and suddenly asked. "Why don't you explain?"
