Chapter 86 Hello, Uncle Reed

Zoey sneered and ignored him. Instead, she looked at Zayne. "Uncle Reed, do you still know me?"

Zayne's expression changed. "You, you are Zoey? It turns out that you have grown up." His tone was full of emotion and sadness.

He was probably the only one who knew about his mixed feelings.

"Yes, Uncle Reed. I heard my father talk about you before. I didn't expect to see you only now. Are you okay now?"

From what he had just said, Zoey understood that Zayne was still loyal to her father, so she was very respectful when she spoke to him.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." Zayne was so excited that tears were glistening in his eyes. "You've grown up. When I saw you before, you were only seven or eight years old. You were still a little girl, but you've grown up now."

"Yes, I have grown up. Uncle Reed is just like what I remember. You still look young. And you seem to get younger and younger." Zoey complimented him.

Zayne shook his head. "I am old. How can I compare to you?"

"It's true. I'll treat you to a meal later. Then we can have a good chat. By the way, this is..."

As Zoey spoke, she also paid attention to her surroundings. After seeing that Harrison seemed to plan to sneak away, she immediately changed the topic to talk with him. "I don't think I've seen you before. Who are you?"

"I am the HR manager. Hello, Director Yates." Harrison carefully replied when he realized he could not offend her.

Although he was on Keith's side, Zoey's surname was Ye, and she was also a director. No matter what, his attitude could not be too bad, and he could not ignore her. Otherwise, he would show his weakness to her.

However, he did not think Zoey would have any ability. So he only wanted to fool her and then discuss it with Keith.

She found Zayne!

What happened next might not be easy to handle!

Sure enough, as soon as he spoke, Zoey smiled and said, "Oh, the HR manager. I thought you were an executive director. How could you yell at someone of the same level and threaten him? Did I hear that right?"

"Well, I was joking with him. Besides, what I said was the president's order, not on purpose." Harrison had no choice but to lower his voice and explain.

"Is that so? Keith was the one who told him to go to New Zealand, right?" Zoey asked again.

"Yes. Yes. I just came to convey the president's meaning. I didn't do anything else." Feeling guilty, Harrison blamed all the things on Keith.

"Alright. Go back and tell your boss I don't agree to let Uncle Reed go to New Zealand. Alright. You can go now." Zoey said lightly. It seemed to be natural to refute Keith's words.

Was it natural? Of course, it was unreasonable. Ever since the people from Yates family died and Keith took over the Yate’s, he was like the leading emperor of the group. He was the kind of person who kept his word. When had he ever been refuted like this?

If the person had been someone else, Harrison would naturally ignore her. However, the person who said this was Zoey, the only daughter of the previous president. She was said to have a powerful backer behind her. Harrison did not have the guts to go against her in front of her.

He had no choice but to lower his head and say, "But the president said..."

"I will talk with him to settle it. You don't have to worry about this." Zoey said indifferently.

Zoey nodded, not putting him in her eyes, and went to talk to Zayne again.

Gritting his teeth, Harrison turned around and left.

Wait and see. She was so arrogant in front of him. Wait for the boss to come back. She would suffer! When the time came, he would see how she was arrogant anymore!
