That was right. In that case, Yuna didn't dare to hold too much hope but just dared to think about the possibility.
If she wanted a certain answer, she needed to verify it.
However, before she could do anything, Kim had been sent to Canada, so she was not sure whether Kim was on Wesley's side, and whether Wesley really knew about everything she had hidden.
Now, she was finally sure that Wesley really knew everything.
The reason why she could escape Rowdy's attention time and again was that Wesley was helping her behind the scenes.
For example, this time in the hospital, she could once again hide from Rowdy because the doctor who treated her was planted at the hospital by Wesley.
While the doctor appeared confident, in fact, he was not sure that he could cure her disease.
However, he could indeed help her by being the bridge between Wesley and herself.
Yuna wiped away her tears, leaving only a smile on her face.
Right at this moment, the bathroom door was pushed open, and Emily walked in. He looked at Yuna in confusion and worry. "Auntie Yuna, are you crying?"
Yuna looked at Emily and didn't say anything. Suddenly, she pulled Emily into her arms.
She held Emily tightly as if he was a treasure that she had accidentally lost in the world, and had spent half of her life trying to get him back.
At this moment, Yuna didn't know how to express her excitement and joy except through a warm embrace.
"Cough!" Emily found it hard to breathe, wrapped in her tight embrace and his tender face turned red, but he endured it. He held his breath and asked, "Auntie Yuna, are you all right?"
He felt very sad now and subconsciously thought that Yuna should be sad too.
"Emily." Yuna smiled and didn't quite answer the question. "He knew that I was in the hospital. He must have been there."
Yuna knew that Emily might not understand her words.
It didn't matter. She just needed someone to share her joy.
Emily didn't react immediately. He stared at her blankly for a long time before he asked, "Auntie Yuna, are you talking about Uncle Hayes?"
Yuna released Emily and looked at him with a smile without saying anything.
She sounded like she was crying, but there was no sadness in her voice.
She was probably shedding tears of joy.
Emily had already guessed the answer from Yuna's reaction. Then he laughed out loud as well, and even his eyes lit up. "Uncle Hayes knew you were in the hospital, right? Uncle Hayes is so great!"
Yuna nodded and agreed with Emily's words-be it the first part or the second.
Emily soon thought of another question and tilted his head. "But why didn't Uncle Hayes come to you?"
Yuna stroked the little fellow's head and said, "Some things are too complicated. You can't understand even if I tell you now. You just need to know that if it had been possible, Uncle Hayes would have come for me."
"Mm, I understand!" Emily's young face looked so sincere as he analyzed seriously. "It must be because Daddy brought too many people. Uncle Hayes was afraid you would get hurt, so he didn't come to get you!"
Yuna smiled and nodded. "You can think of it that way."
"It's a pity." Emily thought about it seriously, then took Yuna's hand and said, "Auntie Yuna, the next time you go to the hospital, I will find a way to let Uncle Hayes see you!"
The little fellow was serious. When he was serious, he might really find a way to do so.
Yuna thought for a moment and shook her head. "Emily, your daddy doesn't allow Uncle Hayes to see me, so you should not take risks. Otherwise, Daddy will send you back to America."
Emily had been alone in America for so long that he found the America little repelling. Hearing Yuna's words, he subconsciously grabbed Yuna's hand and said, "Well, I can't go and look for Uncle Hayes. Then what should we do?"
"Absolutely nothing." Yuna smiled and told him firmly and clearly, "We should just believe in Uncle Hayes."
Emily looked as if he didn't quite understand. After thinking for a moment, he slowly understood. Yuna meant that Wesley would find his way to her. They just needed to wait and see.
The little kid replied with an "mm" and nodded cooperatively.
Yuna took his hand and said, "Let's go for dinner. It's time to eat."
Emily was actually not hungry, but Yuna seemed to have a good appetite. He could only nod and follow Yuna downstairs to eat.
After dinner, Yuna suddenly felt sick and wanted to throw up several times.
At the top of the mountain, Joanne had told her that nausea and vomiting were common during pregnancy, especially during the first three months, and she had vomited so badly that she almost lost the child.
Yuna's situation was different from Joanne's. It was not that she couldn't vomit, but that she couldn't let others find out about her morning sickness.
At this time, it was a critical issue. Once she threw up, someone would definitely think of her pregnancy.
However, as everyone knew, her child had supposedly shown no signs of life. Logically speaking, it should not affect her in any way.
Once she vomited, she would immediately arouse Rowdy's suspicions.
"Auntie Yuna!" Emily didn't notice Yuna's discomfort and shook her hand happily. "Let's go play games, okay?"
Yuna thought about it. Playing games should distract her, and maybe her nausea could be suppressed.
She nodded. "Okay."
Both of them were absorbed in the game, so they played until it was dark.
When Rowdy came back, he saw a scene that he couldn't be more familiar with.
As long as Yuna really wanted to stay by his side, he could watch such a scene for the rest of his life.
Emily noticed Rowdy and paused the game. He smiled at him. "Daddy!"
The little guy was a little afraid of Rowdy. Usually, when he saw Rowdy, he would only greet him politely. This was the first time that he had called out so excitedly to Rowdy.
Yuna seemed to be in a good mood too.
Rowdy looked at Emily and asked slowly, "Emily, is there any good news between you and Auntie Yuna?"
Yuna heard Rowdy's probing and her heart tightened. She was afraid that Emily would spill the beans, but she didn't dare to drop any hints to him.
The little fellow was smarter than she had imagined. Maybe she should trust him.
Emily nodded. "Yes, we have super super great news!"
Rowdy smiled and continued to lead Emily. "I also want to know; can you tell me?"
Emily blinked. "You already know. Why do you need me to repeat it?"
"Hmm?" Rowdy looked even more confused. "When did I know?"
Emily wrung his hands and looked at Rowdy worriedly. "The doctor said that Auntie Yuna could recover. Didn't you hear it?"
Rowdy didn't expect the so-called good news from Emily to be this. He forced a smile and said in an increasingly flat tone, "I thought you had other good news."
Yuna put down the controller. "I'm happy with the good news today."
Rowdy looked at Yuna. "Are you starting to believe in doctors?"
Yuna spread out her hands and said frankly, "As you said, no matter what, this is our only chance now. I choose to believe."
Rowdy smiled with relief. He checked the time as if he were supervising Yuna or reminding her, "The doctor prescribed you some medicine. Have you taken the dose for tonight?"
"Not yet." There was no expression on Yuna's face. She turned to Emily. "Can you go get it for me upstairs?"
Emily nodded. "Of course!"
Rowdy shot Milo a glance. "Go and pour a glass of water for Miss Wallace."
He wanted to see Yuna take the medicine. Only in this way could he make sure Yuna was telling the truth.
When Milo brought the water over, Emily also came down with medicine.
Yuna took the water with one hand and the medicine with the other. She closed her eyes and took the medicine for the night according to the dosage prescribed. In the end, she still looked calm.
She swore that this was the best medicine she had ever taken.
When she was training under Rowdy's guidance, she had suffered a lot of injuries. There was a time when she would be full after taking medicine and didn't need any food anymore.
She was so used to the smell of drugs that it was normal for her to take the medicine without batting an eye now.
Rowdy watched Yuna swallow and finally the doubt and uncertainty disappeared from his eyes, so he said, "I still have something to do. You don't need to wait for me for dinner."
Emily made a face at Rowdy's back and pulled Yuna up. "Auntie Yuna, let's go eat. We don't have to wait for the annoying Daddy!"
During the meal, Yuna had been thinking that maybe she should find a way to contact the doctor.
During the treatment, the doctor had tried his best to give her hints, hoping that she would know that Wesley had already known everything she had hidden and that she was no longer alone and helpless.
She couldn't tell the doctor directly that she had taken the hint.
However, she could use the same method to drop a hint to the doctor.
Emily saw Yuna's movements slowing down and couldn't help tapping the cup with his spoon. "Auntie Yuna, what are you thinking about?"
Yuna blinked at Emily. "After dinner, go and tell your daddy I'm not feeling well."
Emily bit the spoon. "Are you going to pretend to feel unwell?"
"Uh-huh." Yuna nodded and put her cards on the table. "I need to call the doctor, but I don't have his number, so I can only try and trick your daddy into giving it to me."
Emily nodded. "I understand. I'll help you!"
Yuna smiled and gave the little fellow a high five.
After dinner, Yuna back to her room and laid down. Emily ran to the door of the study and kept knocking. "Daddy, Daddy!"
Hearing Emily's voice, Milo walked over and opened the door. "Emily, what's wrong?"
"I'm looking for Daddy!" Emily directly walked past Milo and entered the study. "Daddy, Auntie Yuna is not feeling well. Go and see her!"
Rowdy suddenly stood up, and his face became cold and serious in a second. "Where is Auntie Yuna now?"
Emily looked like he was about to cry and said in a tearful voice, "She's in the room. Daddy, hurry up, go to Auntie Yuna. Boohoo..."
