Chapter 1046 Emily Is a Smart Boy

In Yuna's room of the old house of Kent family.

The sudden attack, like the enemy's ultimate skill in the game, directly overcame Yuna and weakened her vitality, which rendered her pale and powerless.

The only fortunate thing for Yuna was that she seemed to be a person of self-healing capability. Every time she had an attack, the more savage the attack came, the faster the effects would wear off.

Just like this time, when she woke up, she was back to her normal state; it was as if she had never experienced a serious illness at all.

Strangely, Emily was not in the room.

Emily usually slept longer than Yuna. Although he got up on time every day, he would only get up after Yuna, and rarely woke up earlier than her.

"What's wrong with the little boy today?"

When Yuna was wondering about this, the door was suddenly pushed open. Emily ran in and shouted excitedly, "Auntie Yuna!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the little boy rushed onto the bed and looked at Yuna with sparkling eyes.

Yuna was even more confused and could not help asking, "Emily, what's the matter?"

Emily was usually sensible, but in fact, he was just a five-year-old child. He would usually be reluctant or unhappy to have to get up in the morning.

It was the first time that Yuna had seen the little boy so excited when he woke up.

Emily smiled and said while dancing around, "Auntie Yuna, I have good news for you. Uncle Kim will be back in the afternoon!"

"..." The news came so suddenly that Yuna was too stunned to react.

Emily did not care about Yuna's reaction. He hugged her and said excitedly, "Auntie Yuna, Uncle Kim is fine!"

If even a five-year-old kid understood, Yuna would certainly understand what it meant.

The fact that Kim could return to China or even to the Kent family, meant that he was really fine.

When Kim was sent to Canada, Yuna once wondered whether Rowdy was suspicious of him. Would Kim never return to China?

Now it seemed that even if Rowdy suspected Kim, he had not found any evidence that Kim was working undercover.

Kim was still safe.

It was indeed good news for Yuna.

Yuna hugged Emily and could not help kissing the little boy hard.

She was already back to her normal state and when she heard the news, she felt that her condition improved a little.

After washing up, Yuna took Emily's hand and went downstairs.

Rowdy was already downstairs, giving orders to Milo and the others. Yuna walked over without asking any questions, nor did she take the initiative to mention that Kim was coming back.

Although Rowdy asked Kim to come back after suddenly sending the latter to Canada, his purpose might not be simple.

That was to say, Rowdy was still likely to be suspicious about Kim and her.

Therefore, she could not show her concern for Kim.

If Rowdy associated Kim with her and she showed any signs of concern for Kim, it would be plainly stating that she and Kim were on the same side. Then, it would only confirm Rowdy's suspicions.

Rowdy did not mention Kim to Yuna. After breakfast, he went out early.

Emily did not like Rowdy to stay at home, so he said obediently, "Goodbye, Daddy. See you tonight!"

Yes, the little boy meant that he did not want to see Rowdy during the day!

Hearing Emily's voice, Rowdy suddenly turned around and stared at the little boy. "You're not allowed to play games with Auntie Yuna today! Do you hear me?"

Yuna was indeed back to her normal self, but even if she looked fine on the surface, she was indeed sick.

She needed enough rest to prolong her life, and playing games would consume a lot of energy.

Emily obediently nodded and looked at Rowdy sincerely. "Daddy, don't worry. I won't ask Auntie Yuna to play games with me!"

Rowdy looked relieved and turned to leave.

Emily's mood instantly improved. He ran back to the living room, humming and shouting at Yuna, "Auntie Yuna, Daddy is gone!"

Yuna had already taken out the game equipment and crooked her finger at Emily. "Come on, we can play games now."

Emily tilted his head and said innocently, "But, I promised Daddy that I wouldn't ask you to play games with me again."

Yuna had watched Emily grow up. After so many years, she had some tacit understanding with him.

Looking at the little boy, she smiled and said cooperatively, "It's not you who wants to play games with me. I am the one who wants to play games with you. Even if your daddy asks, it's not your fault! Well, come here!"

Emily blinked and then stated this point seriously, "Auntie Yuna, you asked me to do that!"

Yuna nodded and said, "Uh-huh, I asked you to do that. It's all my fault."

"OK, that's a deal!"

Emily was instantly overjoyed and smiled happily. He ran over, sat down, turned on the computer, and began to play games with Yuna.

This time, they would play an online game.

Yuna was a master at online games. Although Emily was young, his skills were not bad. The two of them teamed up and cooperated to showcase their various skills. The computer screen was dazzling brightly.

If it were in the past, while he was in high spirits, Emily would definitely play games with Yuna until it was dark.

But after witnessing Yuna's attack with his own eyes, Emily was still a little scared. Less than three hours later, he stopped and said seriously, "Auntie Yuna, let's go eat something, and then you can have a rest!"

Yuna was indeed tired. She touched the little boy's head and took him to lunch.

After their meal, Yuna took Emily for a walk in the yard. After a while, she felt weak and began to yawn lazily.

Emily looked up at Yuna, with concern in his tender voice. "Auntie Yuna, are you very sleepy?"

The little boy's tone was a little strange, and Yuna did not know how to reply to him for the moment.

On the surface, she was just sleepy.

However, she had never yawned or felt tired at noon before.

She was born with more energy than ordinary people. Sometimes, she was not even tired after staying up for two days and one night.

But ever since she had fallen ill, her energy had been declining day by day. The so-called "tiredness" was actually because her illness was getting worse.

Seeing that Yuna did not respond for some time, Emily pulled her hand and asked, "Auntie Yuna, what's wrong with you?"

Yuna came to her senses and smiled at the little boy as if nothing had happened. She told him that she was fine, then held his hand and went back to the room.

Not long after Yuna lay on the bed, she dropped into a deep sleep.

She felt as if she had fallen into an endless dream. She was trapped in it and felt weak and was unwilling to wake up.

She could vaguely feel a strong sense of crisis, but she just could not get rid of that feeling of weakness.

In the end, Yuna was awakened by Emily. The little boy shook her body and called her name. "Auntie Yuna!"

Emily was much more sensible than children his age. He never disturbed others when they were sleeping, especially when Yuna was feeling uncomfortable now.

Yuna sat up and looked at Emily. "What's wrong?"

If there was nothing wrong, Yuna believed that the little boy would not wake her up on purpose.

Emily's eyes lit up. He jumped up and down and said, "Uncle Kim is back! And Daddy hasn't come back yet!"

When Yuna sneaked into Rowdy's study last time, she was unfortunately caught by Rowdy. Later, Kim called Emily over to help her out.

It was also on the same day that Yuna guessed Kim's identity. He worked undercover for Wesley.

However, before she could ask Kim any questions, he had been sent to Canada. Since then, she had not been able to get in touch with him.

Now, Kim was back, but Rowdy was not back yet. For Yuna, this was the best opportunity to confirm Kim's identity.

Yuna hugged Emily and kissed the little boy's forehead. "Thank you."

She took her coat, put on her slippers, and ran downstairs.

Emily looked at Yuna's back, made a "hmm" sound and hurried to catch up with her.

When they got downstairs, Yuna began to slow down and looked as if she had woken up. She saw Kim, but her expression remained bland.

In fact, only Yuna knew how excited she was.

At the top of the mountain, because she knew that the child was still alive, she promised to marry Wesley. But after Rowdy kidnapped Aunt Helen and Iris, she had no choice but to come back and completely lost contact with Wesley.

Apart from William, Kim was the only one who could help her get in touch with Wesley.

More importantly, after getting a positive answer from Kim, she could be more certain that Wesley really knew everything and was nearby trying to get her out of this place.

When Kim saw Yuna, he just smiled and greeted her politely but not warmly. "Miss Xu."

Yuna nodded, thinking about how to get to talk with Kim alone.

There were servants and many of Rowdy's men in the Kent family home. If she directly asked Kim to leave with her, it would definitely attract others' attention.

She had to think of another way.

At this moment, Emily came downstairs.

The little boy seemed to sense Yuna's dilemma. He took Yuna's hand and said, "Auntie Yuna, let's go and water the plants in the garden. Well, Uncle Kim, can you do us a favor?"

Kim nodded and looked as if he were carrying out orders. "Of course."

The three of them walked to the vegetable garden in the yard. Emily hopped along and both Yuna and Kim looked calm; there was nothing unusual about their behavior.

In fact, Yuna was exceedingly excited, while Kim had more admiration for Emily.

Kim had always known that Emily was very smart, but only today did he realize that this little boy knew how to size up the situation and then make the right decision.

If it were not for his surname Kang, this child... should be perfect.
