Chapter 1088 Wendy's Top-secret Plan (1)

In the Kent family's mansion.

It was unknown when Yuna got this habit. After she woke up every morning, she liked to stand on the balcony and look into the distance.

Perhaps it was because she still hoped to escape from the iron cage of the Kent family in the deepest part of her heart.

When she got on the balcony, Yuna just casually put on a cloak and felt the wind for a while. The coldness of early spring gradually spread into her body, and she felt that she should go back to her room.

She pushed open the glass door of the balcony and went back to her room.

Emily had already woken up. He bent his tender legs and knelt on the bed, looking thoughtful. It seemed that he was not very happy.

Yuna walked over. She rubbed her cold hands, covered them on Emily's face, and asked softly, "Little guy, what's the matter?"

Emily felt cold from her touch, but he didn't have much of a reaction. He just looked up at Yuna. After a while, he asked in a low voice, "Auntie Yuna, is the New Year over?"

In a trance, Yuna understood why the little boy was not happy. She couldn't help smiling and rubbing his face. "Are you unhappy because the New Year is over?"

Emily nodded his little head while his black and soft hair swayed with his movements. "Yesterday was New Year's Day, and I was very happy. If the New Year is over now, I won't be happy."

Yuna burst into laughter and said, "It's not over yet."

Emily's childish eyes suddenly lit up. He looked at Yuna and said, "Really? How long will it be before it ends?"

"Really!" Yuna told the little boy with certainty, "There is still half a month before it is over. You can enjoy it slowly! Also, you can set off fireworks tonight!"

"Hurray!"

Emily cheered and threw himself into Yuna's arms. His laughter was crisp and happy, which sounded very cute.

Yuna took the little boy's hand and said, "Let's go to have breakfast."

After Rowdy went out yesterday, she didn't know when he would come back. When Yuna took Emily downstairs, he was already sitting in the dining room.

Early in the morning, Rowdy's expression was unexpectedly kind. He waved at Emily and Yuna and said, "Come and have breakfast."

Instead of running over happily, Emily took a step back and held Yuna's hands more tightly. He said in a childish voice, "Auntie Yuna, Daddy looks weird today. Let's be careful!"

Yuna looked down at the little boy and asked with a smile, "Are you scared when your daddy is like this?"

Emily nodded honestly. "Very scared!"

"Well, don't be scared!" Yuna patted the little boy's head. "Your daddy is in a good mood today, that's why he's like this."

Emily made a face and walked over. He climbed onto the chair and sat upright. "Daddy, good morning."

"Good morning." Rowdy picked up the milk glass and poured some milk into the glass in front of Emily. After thinking for a while, he said, "Drink it."

Emily blinked his eyes, picked up the glass, and gulped down the milk in one gulp.

Yuna felt that it was too much for the little boy, so she looked at Rowdy helplessly and said, "Can you not use your commanding tone to treat the kid?"

Rowdy frowned and didn't know what he was wrong about. Instead, he asked, "Did my tone just now sound commanding?"

"It doesn't sound commanding." For the first time, Yuna had an impulse to complain about Rowdy. "You were totally ordering him!"

Rowdy felt a little uncomfortable and looked embarrassed. He said, "I'll try my best to change that next time."

"Hiccup."

As soon as Rowdy finished speaking, Emily burped.

Rowdy glanced at Emily, and the little boy seemed to be frightened. He subconsciously covered his mouth and hid in Yuna's direction. It was obvious that he was afraid of Rowdy.

Yuna pointed to Emily and gestured to Rowdy. "See-"

Rowdy did not speak, and there was an embarrassed look on his face.

Halfway through their breakfast, Milo came in. Seeing Rowdy and Yuna together, he held back the words that he was about to say and said instead, "Brother Rowdy, I'll wait for you outside."

"Come here." Rowdy's voice was very calm. "If there's anything, just say it."

Because Yuna was there, Milo wanted to say something but stopped on second thought.

There was a tacit understanding between Milo and Rowdy. They would avoid talking about something related to Wesley while Yuna was around.

He suddenly didn't stop saying the words he was about to say, which made Rowdy guess that it had something to do with Wesley.

"However, he actually asked me to continue?

"Does it mean that we don't have to avoid Yuna?"

Milo was still a little uncertain and said tentatively, "Brother Rowdy, it has something to do with Wesley..."

Rowdy said calmly without any hesitation, "Okay. Go ahead."

Milo continued, "I just confirmed Wesley's injury."

Rowdy glanced at Milo and asked after two seconds, "How is it?"

"It seems that Wesley's injury is not serious. He dealt with his business as usual this morning." Milo lowered his head and said, "Brother Rowdy, I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault." Rowdy said, "As you said, it's not so easy to hurt Wesley."

Milo breathed a sigh of relief. "Then... Brother Rowdy, I'll go out first."

He turned around and left the dining room. Not long after he waited outside, Rowdy came out.

Rowdy's expression was no longer as soft as it was when he was in the dining room. Instead, it became cold and stiff.

Milo went up to him and greeted him respectfully, "Brother Rowdy!"

Rowdy's face darkened, and his voice was as cold as ice. "Are you sure that Wesley's injury is not serious?"

Milo nodded. "Yes. Our men saw it with their own eyes."

Rowdy narrowed his eyes and flipped over the potted plant with one hand. He then ordered coldly, "Let's go!"

Milo hurried to catch up with Rowdy and asked, "Brother Rowdy, from now on... can we mention Wesley in front of Miss Wallace?"

"She does hate Wesley to the core." Rowdy said, "We don't need to avoid her from now on."

Milo replied with an "okay" and then asked, "Where are we going?"

"Isn't Wesley slightly hurt?" Rowdy sneered. "Next time, we'll kill him!"

The implication was that they needed to find an opportunity to carry out the next operation.

Milo didn't dare to say anything more, so he could only keep up with Rowdy.

When Rowdy and Milo left, Yuna and Emily were still in the dining room.

Until he couldn't see Rowdy's figure, Emily pulled Yuna's hand and asked in a low voice, "Auntie Yuna, is Uncle Hayes injured?"

Yuna did not answer but asked, "Are you worried about Uncle Hayes?"

Emily hesitated for a moment and made an "a little" gesture with his fingers. He specifically emphasized, "I'm just a little worried!"

"I won't admit that I'm worried about the bad uncle. Humph!"

Yuna had always been there while Emily grew up, so she could naturally tell that the little boy was not telling the truth. She rubbed his head with a smile and said, "Uncle Milo just said that Uncle Hayes's injury was not serious. Therefore, you don't need to worry about him. He will be fine soon."

"Oh, really?" Emily got up and stood on the stool. He leaned over and whispered in Yuna's ear, "Then, you don't need to worry about Uncle Hayes as well!"

Yuna was stunned for a moment and then realized that the little guy just wanted to comfort her.

Yesterday, when she heard that Wesley was injured, she was really worried and almost exposed herself in front of Rowdy.

Fortunately, she had an extraordinary self-consolation ability. She forcibly hid her worry and mercilessly told Rowdy that it was not enough for Wesley to be injured. She wanted Wesley dead.

From what had happened today, it seemed that she was quite good at her acting.

Otherwise, Rowdy wouldn't let Milo mention Wesley in front of her, and Emily wouldn't try to comfort her.

Yuna smiled at the little boy and said, "Okay. I'm not worried anymore."

Emily slid off the chair and said excitedly, "Let's play the game!"

While Yuna and Emily were fighting in the gaming world, Gavin and Wendy, who were in their apartment in the city center far away, had just gotten up.

After they had done it over and over again last night, Wendy felt like it was just like her first time. Her waist was sore and her back was in pain. She felt wrecked like a rusty machine.

More importantly, when she opened her eyes, she was still in Gavin's arms, struggling but unable to move.

Since he fell ill, she thought that Gavin's strength had been weakened a lot. But now it seemed that she was still too naive about that.

"Damn it!"

Wendy held Gavin's face with both hands, rubbed it hard, and said angrily, "Stop pretending. I know you're awake!"

Gavin had indeed woken up. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Wendy lazily. "I didn't expect you to wake up so soon!"

Wendy knew what Gavin meant.

Gavin felt that after yesterday's "battle", she should at least sleep until noon.

"Well, I'm not that weak!"

Wendy punched Gavin's chest. "Get up now!"

After the other people got married, they would go on a honeymoon.

Things were different for this couple. They needed to go back to the hospital after getting married.

However, before returning to the hospital, Wendy still had one more thing to do.

She had to get Gavin up as soon as possible so that she could carry out her top-secret plan.

Gavin wrapped his arms around Wendy tightly and said in a lazy voice, "I don't want to get up."

Wendy thought for a moment and deliberately provoked Gavin. "Humph, is it that you don't want to, or you can't get up?"

Gavin heard the provocation in Wendy's tone. He slowly opened his eyes, raised his eyebrows, and looked at her. There was a lazy threat in his tone. "Wendy, dare you to say it again?"

"You..." Wendy gave up in the end. In the face of Gavin's fierce eyes, she immediately lost her confidence. She changed her words and said, "If you don't want to get up... Don't get up then... We can sleep for a while..."

"I just don't want to get up." Gavin slowly held Wendy down. "I want to do something else..."
