Chapter 1101 I Know How Much You've Crossed the Line

Emily disappeared behind the gate of the old house like a gust of wind.

When the little boy rushed into the house, the first person he saw was Rowdy, who was sitting on the sofa with a gloomy face.

After thinking for a while, he raised his chin slightly and snorted indifferently at Rowdy. Then, he turned around and ran straight to Yuna.

Emily was expressing his objection to Rowdy in this way.

The relationship between Rowdy and Yuna finally eased up, but because of the operation, they were on bad terms with each other again.

Rowdy already felt greatly troubled. Now that Emily had such an attitude toward him, he felt that he was going crazy.

It was not only because of Yuna but also because of Emily.

Somehow, Yuna doted on Emily very much, so Rowdy also wanted to get along well with Emily.

He thought that in this way, for the sake of the little boy, Yuna could at least accept his intimacy.

What Rowdy didn't understand was that when he took the initiative to get closer to his son, it seemed that Emily wouldn't understand his nice gestures but began to guard against him.

It was also in the past few days that he had finally gotten a little closer to the little boy.

"Is the relationship between me and Emily going back to its original state just because of a trivial matter?"

Rowdy thought about it for a long time, but he didn't feel sad.

He just felt unwilling, so he silently made some plans in his heart.

"No matter what, I have to at least repair the relationship between me and Emily.

"Only when Emily is pleased will Yuna possibly give me a chance."

When Rowdy was planning, Emily had already rushed over to Yuna.

The little boy, like a little monkey, climbed up to the chair flexibly right away. He sat upright and said, "Auntie Yuna, let's start eating."

Even though he and his dad didn't have deep feelings for each other, Emily had always known that Rowdy was his father.

The little boy had been taught by Yuna since he was young that he must be polite. Whether he liked that the others or not, he had to treat them with basic courtesy.

Because of what Yuna told him, Emily had always been very polite to Rowdy since he was young. When he was at the dining table, no matter how hungry he was, as long as Rowdy was home, the little boy would definitely wait until his dad was at the table before he started to eat.

This was the first time that the little boy turned a blind eye to Rowdy when he knew that his dad was next to him.

Yuna vaguely guessed that the little boy should have known the conflict between her and Rowdy, and he was truly mad at his dad.

"This is just what I need. I need to pretend to be mad as well so that both Emily and I would look angry. At least I can have someone to be irritated with me together, which is just the effect I was looking for."

Yuna nodded and said, "Okay. Let's eat."

"Since the little boy wants to ignore Rowdy, I'll just play along.

"We'll just put on an act together. With me and Emily acting together, we can be a perfect combination of a movie king and a movie queen!"

Emily didn't know what Yuna was thinking. After hearing Yuna's answer, he lowered his voice and tSimon Yuna, "Auntie Yuna, you should eat more. You're pregnant with a baby!"

The Kent family's old house was so big that only Yuna could hear what Emily said by the end.

What she didn't expect was that the little boy kept thinking about the baby she was pregnant with.

She smiled, touched the little boy's head, and promised him, "Okay. I will eat a lot."

In fact, she didn't have much appetite, and she might not be able to eat a lot.

But she knew that Emily had already known that she and Rowdy had quarreled. The little boy was afraid that the quarrel would affect her mood and her appetite.

Emily couldn't bear to have her baby starved.

It turned out that Emily had always been considerate of her baby.

Rowdy and the others had always thought that her baby had already lost its signs of living, and Rowdy had also told Emily about it.

However, the little boy was very stubborn and still firmly believed that her baby was fine.

Yuna was glad that her baby was indeed fine.

Although Emily was smart, he still had the innocence of a child.

The little boy firmly believed in many things, including that her baby was still alive.

What he didn't know was that he would be disappointed in a lot of things in the end.

The matter about her baby was the only thing that Yuna could do to not disappoint Emily. She would let Emily see that her baby was still alive and could survive.

Emily didn't know what Yuna was thinking. He smiled innocently and picked up some food for her.

After the meal, Emily slid down the chair and pulled Yuna upstairs.

Seeing this, Rowdy stopped Emily. "Stop!"

Emily continued to pull Yuna to the second floor as if he didn't hear what Rowdy said.

Rowdy finally couldn't stand it anymore and shouted, "Emily, I told you to stop!"

Emily slowly stopped and turned around innocently. "Daddy, were you calling me just now?"

Rowdy narrowed his eyes, looking dangerous. "In this house, would I call anyone else but you and Yuna? Is there anyone else called Emily here?"

"Okay, got it." Emily turned around and pretended to fiddle with his fingers innocently. "But... you didn't call my name just now! I don't know who you were calling, so I could only ignore you! This is not my fault!"

The little boy's tone was a little harsh. He emphasized it again and again in order to prevent Rowdy from pushing the blame on him.

"I don't have time to listen to your explanation!" Rowdy ordered, "Come here!"

Emily didn't listen to Rowdy's words but looked up at Yuna first.

Yuna didn't know what Rowdy wanted to do, but she still let go of the little boy's hand and motioned for him to go over.

Emily then dawdled to Rowdy's side and called him listlessly, "Daddy."

Yuna thought for a moment. She assumed that Rowdy wouldn't hurt Emily, so she had nothing to worry about.

However, she was not in the mood to stay in the living room, so she went straight upstairs.

Rowdy didn't ask Yuna to stay.

Since Yuna back to her room, it would be more convenient for him to talk to Emily.

Rowdy looked serious and gave Emily a look. "Sit down."

This time, Emily was obedient. He replied with an "okay" and sat down, staring at Rowdy without blinking.

Rowdy ignored the fact that Emily was just a child. He lit a cigarette and looked at the little boy. "Did you know what happened between me and Yuna?"

"Yes." Emily nodded. He still looked extremely honest, but he suddenly said with an accusing tone, "I also know how much you crossed the line, Daddy!"

"Emily!" Rowdy's voice instantly cooled down. "You're still young. You don't know anything at all!"

Emily turned his head and snorted indifferently. "That's not true. I know everything! You don't need to ask me how I knew it. I won't betray Uncle Milo!"

Rowdy was not interested in blaming Milo for the time being. He looked at the little boy seriously and asked, "Emily, do you think what I did was wrong? Do you think it's proper for Yuna to be so mad at me?"

If it weren't for Yuna, the little boy wouldn't be angry.

Emily's cheeks were bulging out of rage. He looked at Rowdy seriously and said, "Daddy, if I were Auntie Yuna, I would be even angrier!"

Rowdy looked curious. "Why?"

In a short moment, Emily seemed to have become an adult. He looked at Rowdy in confusion and asked, "Daddy, don't you really understand? What you did is very disrespectful to Auntie Yuna!"

Rowdy frowned and became even more confused. He looked at Emily in confusion and explained, "Emily, I did this for her sake. Also, does this kind of thing have anything to do with respect?"

Emily blinked his eyes and suddenly said, "Daddy, don't you know that you will get Auntie Yuna killed if you do this?!"

Rowdy narrowed his eyes, and his voice suddenly became cold. He emphasized irrefutably, "I just want her to recover."

Emily disagreed with Rowdy's words and shook his head like an adult. "But that's not what Aunt Yuna thought of first."

"Emily knows what Yuna is thinking?"

For the first time, Rowdy realized that Emily was smarter than ordinary children. "Maybe... I should talk to him seriously."

Rowdy turned around and looked Emily in the eye. "Then, tell me, what was the first thing that came to Auntie Yuna's mind when she heard my words?"

"Auntie Yuna would think that you don't care about her at all!" Emily looked at Rowdy with a serious face and said, "If she undergoes surgery, there is a 90% chance that she will die. Daddy, why can't you be considerate of her? You made the decision at once because you don't care about her. You just saw that she had a chance to recover, but you didn't expect that she would have a higher chance of passing away."

Rowdy didn't say anything.

He had an illusion that he was not talking to a five-year-old child.

"This boy is smarter and more sensible than I have imagined. He could even tear open my inner feelings in a few seconds and expose the side that I dare not face in the broad daylight."

When Rowdy talked with William over the phone, he only paid attention to the first half of the doctor's words that Yuna had a chance to recover.

As for the 90 percent failure rate, he did not take it to heart.

Because if Yuna didn't take the operation, she would definitely die.

If the operation was performed, Yuna still had a 10% chance of survival.

Even if the operation failed, the price Rowdy had to pay was that Yuna would leave the world in advance.

He shouldn't be very sad by then.

Because he knew that since surgery couldn't save Yuna, it meant that she couldn't survive anymore.

He had tried his best, so he should have no regrets.

When he thought about that, Rowdy had only been making plans for himself and hadn't thought about Yuna's feelings in detail.

Rowdy had never dared to face this.

Once Yuna was involved, he rarely dared to face his own feelings.

Rowdy didn't expect that Emily could not only see through his mind at a glance but also say it out clearly.
