Chapter 1124 Be with Me Forever

CRACK!

The broken cutlery fell to the floor.

The embarrassment in the air had disappeared at some point. The hatred in Yuna's heart filled the air, injecting some fierce killing intent into the ancient and serene old house.

Only Yuna knew that she could vent such anger because her enemy was in front of her.

If she were capable enough, she would be glad to put an end to Rowdy's life now and avenge her grandmother.

If it were in the past, Yuna might really risk her life to try and assassinate Rowdy.

At worst, they would both die. She didn't mind it.

But now, she was not alone. She was pregnant with Wesley's baby, so she couldn't be so impulsive.

"If Grandma could sense her thoughts, she would not want me to take risks. She would only hope that I could protect myself and the baby."

She and Wesley's only child merely had one chance to come into this world.

Rowdy was different. He was an adult with a long life ahead of him.

Even if Rowdy was still alive on the day she died, Wesley would not let him go.

Evildoers would eventually receive their retribution.

Therefore, the most important thing for Yuna to do now was to protect her secrets and let her baby come into this world safely.

Looking at Yuna's angry and depressed look, Rowdy naively thought that her mood had changed so much all of a sudden because she hated Wesley too much.

Rowdy was suddenly very glad. "Fortunately, Yuna doesn't know who got Granny Wallace killed."

He wanted to have Yuna, but he didn't want her to hate him so much.

However, he didn't mind that she hated Wesley at all.

Rowdy knew Yuna too well.

She was good at turning everything into action.

He thought that the more she hated Wesley, the more likely she would succeed in killing him in the future.

"Yuna," Rowdy said slowly as if he had thought it over, "since you are unwilling to take the operation because of your grandma, why don't... we make a deal?"

Yuna was not curious about what deal Rowdy wanted to make with her at all.

On the contrary, she looked alert.

"What deal?"

Yuna's voice was unusually cold as if she wanted to tell Rowdy in this way that she might not agree to make a deal with him.

"Yuna, it's a fair deal." Rowdy looked into Yuna's eyes and said word by word, "I'll avenge your grandma. After Wesley is dead, you have to undergo surgery."

Yuna didn't say anything.

She sneered inside again.

"Until now, Rowdy is still so naive that he thinks that he can deal with Wesley?

"It's utterly impossible!

"Even if he does have a chance to make it happen, I'll definitely stop him and ruin his plan!

"Therefore, it won't matter even if I agree to make this deal with him."

Yuna looked at Rowdy as if she were weighing something.

After a while, she nodded. "Okay."

Rowdy finally got rid of the burden on his mind and breathed a sigh of relief. Then, he asked, "Yuna, everything's okay between us, right?"

He didn't want her to continue ignoring him.

Yuna sneered inwardly, but on the surface, she only said coldly, "Everything will stay fine between us as long as you don't make any unreasonable requests."

"I have no trouble with Rowdy.

"There is only deep hatred between us since he got my closest family killed."

Rowdy didn't know what Yuna was thinking at all. He only thought that her words meant that she agreed to make peace.

He looked much more relaxed, and his tone became gentler as he said, "Yuna, no matter what happens in the future, I will discuss it with you in advance. I won't decide on your behalf beforehand."

Rowdy rarely made promises, and Yuna was an exception.

However, she was not moved by his promise at all. She stood up, still looking cold and indifferent. She said with a sense of warning in her tone, "You'd better keep your promise!"

Before Rowdy could say anything, she turned around and went straight upstairs.

When she was a few meters away from the door of the room, Emily's crying voice was heard.

"Although I am only five years old, I also have the right of personal liberty. Even if you're an adult, you can't control me! Boo-hoo, let me go!"

The little boy was obviously angry, and his childish voice was full of anger.

The subordinate didn't want to offend Emily, but he didn't dare to disobey Rowdy's order. He said awkwardly, "Emily, stop this. When Brother Rowdy calms down, you can go downstairs."

"That's weird. Why is it that I can't move freely until Daddy calms down?" Emily wailed. "I didn't get him angry!"

The subordinate wanted to change the topic and deliberately asked, "Who got Brother Everbridge Groupgry then?"

"No one provoked him!" Emily returned to his usual innocence and said as if it had nothing to do with him, "He got mad on his own. Why did he punish me? It's unreasonable!"

The young subordinate didn't speak for a long time, probably not knowing how to continue.

Hearing their conversation, Yuna smiled, pushed the door open, and walked in.

The subordinate was very relieved to see Yuna. He hurried over and respectfully said, "Miss Wallace."

"Yeah." Yuna's tone was not commanding, but there was an undeniable aura in her voice. "You can go down now."

"But..." The subordinate looked at Emily hesitantly. "Brother Rowdy has ordered..."

"I told you to go down!" Yuna's tone became sharper. "I will keep an eye on Emily."

Yuna's position in the Kent family was second only to Rowdy. Even Milo had to show her respect.

The subordinate didn't dare to provoke Yuna. He answered, "Alright!" Then, he turned and left the room.

Click!

The door was closed, leaving only Yuna and Emily in the room.

The little boy instantly stopped making trouble and threw himself at Yuna like a cute pet. He looked up and asked, "Auntie Yuna, did Daddy bully you?"

Yuna said confidently, "Don't worry. Your daddy wouldn't dare to bully me now!"

Emily thought about it and nodded seriously. "Yes! Because I got your back!"

"Haha-" Yuna couldn't help laughing. She squatted down and kissed the little boy's cheek. "Thank you."

"Well, you're welcome!"

Emily also hugged Yuna and rubbed against her chest, looking soft and lovely.

Yuna touched the little boy's head and felt a sense of warmth in her heart.

However, before long, guilt replaced all warmth.

She was not worthy of Emily being so nice to her.

Her purpose in coming back was to end Rowdy's life.

However, she was greedy for the little boy's care and did not dare to tell Emily the truth.

After all, she was selfish.

Emily stayed in Yuna's arms for a while and suddenly thought of something. He raised his head and said, "Auntie Yuna, I want to visit Sister Wendy and Uncle Gavin."

Yuna also wanted to visit Gavin and Wendy.

However, she had no way to leave the old house.

Although Rowdy believed in her, she still couldn't easily get in touch with Brian and Wesley's people.

If she insisted on going over, it would definitely arouse Rowdy's suspicion.

The last thing she could do now was to make Rowdy suspect her.

Yuna shook her head and whispered, "Your daddy won't allow us to go there."

Emily tilted his head and asked mischievously, "What if I cry?"

Yuna didn't know how to react and decided to correct the little boy's idea. "Emily, crying can't fix every problem."

"It won't work for an adult to cry, but it will if little kids cry!" Emily emphasized seriously, "Auntie Yuna, since my tears can still work now, shouldn't I make good use of them? When I grow up, it won't help if I cry. If I don't use my tears now... will I be at a slight disadvantage?"

Yuna didn't know how to respond and looked at the little boy helplessly. "Emily, where did you learn these things from?"

Emily pointed to the laptop screen and said honestly, "One day, when you were sleeping, I secretly watched some videos for a while..."

Yuna felt even more troubled. She said, "Stop watching that complicated stuff from now on!"

"Eh? Uncle Hayes also said so!" Emily's eyes lit up and he said excitedly, "He even said that when I grow up, I can watch the complicated stuff! Auntie Yuna, is it true?"

Yuna didn't want to speak.

She suddenly felt that she should be stronger and struggle to survive.

Otherwise, if she died and handed the baby over to Wesley to take care of, she would probably still get angered by him.

Seeing that Yuna was silent, Emily found it strange and tugged on her sleeve. "Auntie Yuna, is what Uncle Hayes said wrong?"

Yuna made a "stop" gesture and said, "Emily, let's stop talking about this topic. Also, you can't tell your daddy about going to visit Sister Wendy and Uncle Gavin. He will be angry. It won't help even if you cry."

Emily pursed his lips reluctantly. "Okay..."

Yuna could see that the little boy was very disappointed. She touched his head and explained, "The situation has been very special recently. After the matter is solved, no one can stop you if you still want to visit Wendy and Gavin. But now you must listen to me, understand?"

Emily nodded. "Yes, I understand!"

"Emily, I know you're very worried about Gavin." Yuna comforted the little fellow. "However, his operation has succeeded. He's recovering. Have you forgotten?"

In other words, Gavin was now fine and they needn't worry about him much.

Emily asked with confusion, "After Uncle Gavin recovers, he can stay with Sister Wendy forever, right?"

"Yes!" Yuna nodded and asked patiently, "So? Do you have any other questions?"

"Well, yes!" Emily threw himself into Yuna's arms and said in a childish voice, "Auntie Yuna, you have to get better like Uncle Gavin. I hope you can stay with me forever."
