Joanne knew that Brian had just tried his best to comfort her.
In fact, she did not necessarily need comfort.
She just wanted to make a scene with Brian.
The two little kids relied on Brian more. She admitted that she was a little jealous, but it did not affect her mood.
Aiden and Romy had been born so long. Subconsciously, they already knew that Brian was their father.
However, because of his work, Brian only had a few hours to be with the two little kids in the morning, and a few hours after he came back in the evening.
It had not been easy for him to spare time, and he might need to handle other things.
Brian had tried his best, but he really did not spend much time with Aiden and Romy.
It was also because he did not often show up that his kids were more willing to stick to him as long as he came to them.
Whenever Brian was free, Joanne was actually happy to have him stay with the two children.
After all, kids needed their fathers to be with them when they grew up.
Even if she was jealous, it would not affect her at all.
However, Brian seemed to have taken it seriously.
Joanne smiled and kissed Brian, saying, "In fact, I've never been in a bad mood."
Brian obviously did not know why she said that and did not speak for a long time.
Joanne did not explain in detail, but chose to change the topic and asked, "What do you want to eat for dinner? I'll cook!"
She did not know that she was particularly charming when she was serious.
She had a pair of peach blossom eyes, which should have been full of charm, but they appeared clear and otherworldly along with her temperament. Her eyes were as clear as a stream hidden in the deep mountains, and they were shining.
She was so pure, but every frown and smile of hers could make people lose their souls.
Every time she looked at Brian seriously, he felt that the line of defense at the bottom of his heart was being breached, and he would only think that he wanted Joanne to get closer to him.
Brian stretched out his hand and suddenly pulled Joanne into his arms. He pressed his forehead against hers and said, "Joanne, I want to kiss you."
Joanne seemed to be startled, and her long eyelashes kept trembling. After a long while, she calmed down and reminded Brian, "We're in Aiden and Romy's room!"
"This kind of thing should be carried out in our room, right?"
"It doesn't matter." Brian's hands went up along Joanne's waistline, and he bewitched her with a magnetic voice. "Aiden and Romy are asleep. Well, even if they are awake, they won't know what we're doing."
Joanne was speechless. "How could a father bully his son and daughter like this?"
Brian's hands covered a certain part of Joanne's body. With a little force, he pushed her down on the sofa, and his solid chest firmly pressed her, making her unable to move.
Joanne looked into Brian's eyes and saw some kind of surging desire.
Brian was serious, but fortunately, things were not out of control.
Joanne still couldn't talk herself into it. When Brian kissed her, she raised her hand to stop him and said, "I'm hungry. Go downstairs and cook with me!"
Brian stared at Joanne for a while before he finally released her. He took her downstairs and went straight into the kitchen.
Since she had turned him down, she felt a little guilty. She pulled Brian to the refrigerator and said, "What do you feel like eating? I can cook it as long as there are ready-made ingredients in the refrigerator."
Brian did not speak. He put one hand on the refrigerator door, trapped Joanne between the door and his chest, and looked at her calmly.
He was pleasing to the eye from head to toe, but what Joanne could not resist the most was his eyes.
Joanne looked around and found that she couldn't escape at all. She urged him as if nothing had happened. "If you don't name it, I'll just cook whatever I like. If you're not satisfied with it, don't blame me..."
"Joanne, I've said it before." Brian finally spoke. "I want to..."
Joanne suddenly had a strong hunch that Brian would definitely repeat the answer he had just given.
"We're in the kitchen, which is even worse than the children's room!"
It should be noted that the chefs, Simon, and even Martha could come and go from the kitchen at any time.
If others heard that Brian was doing a dirty talk, Joanne would be too embarrassed to meet the guys in the future.
Joanne quickly reached out her hand and covered Brian's mouth. There was a hint of warning in her tone. "Think it over before you speak!"
Brian was not shocked by Joanne's sudden movement. He calmly raised his eyebrows at her, indicating that he had thought it over.
Joanne then let go of Brian. "Go ahead."
Brian said slowly, "Joanne, didn't I tell you that I want to eat anything that you cook?"
Of course, he felt like having an intimate moment with Joanne more.
Joanne didn't know that Brian didn't express his true thinking and simply believed his words.
She was speechless for a moment and then asked tentatively, "Is that what you wanted to say just now?"
"Of course." Brian approached Joanne step by step and asked instead of answering, "What else would it be?"
"I..." Joanne did not have the courage to answer that. She pushed Brian away and fled to the counter. "Stop it. I'm going to cook!"
Brian smiled and didn't continue to tease Joanne.
He was afraid that if he continued to tease her, he would irritate her.
In the end, he would still be the one to suffer.
After the birth of Aiden and Romy, Joanne was busy taking care of the siblings. Besides that, she only had time to take care of their meals and daily necessities, so she rarely cooked.
However, she was still skilled at it.
It only took her more than an hour to make a sumptuous meal of three dishes and one soup, two of which were Brian's favorite.
"Yeah, I'm still very nice to Brian!"
The assistant seemed to know when Brian would have time. He called right after Brian finished eating, reminding him to start the video conference ten minutes later.
Brian subconsciously looked at Joanne.
She waved her hand and said, "Go to the meeting. I'm going to sort out Aiden's and Romy's winter clothes and donate some clothes that aren't suitable for them anymore."
Brian pulled Joanne over, kissed her on the forehead, and whispered in her ear, "Make me a cup of coffee after that and send it to the study."
"Okay." Joanne nodded. "Got it."
The two of them went upstairs together. Brian went to the study on the right, and Joanne went to the children's room on the left.
They had someone to especially manage Aiden and Romy's stuff, so Joanne did not have to take care of them herself.
Joanne also knew that it would be much easier for her to let others handle the two little kids' necessities.
However, she didn't want to miss every moment of her son and daughter's growth.
She didn't want to hand over a single thing that she could do for the kids.
Joanne tidied up Aiden's and Romy's clothes and suddenly found that the two little kids had grown a lot. She needed to donate their winter clothes bought last year, and it was time to buy spring clothes for them.
"Well, I can ask Freya out to go shopping tomorrow."
However, before going shopping, she had to make Brian's coffee first.
Joanne ran downstairs to the kitchen, made a cup of black coffee, and sent it to the study.
She saw that Brian was turning off the laptop, and she was surprised. She asked, "Is the meeting over?"
Brian replied with a "yeah" and said, "It just ended."
Joanne looked at the coffee in her hand and said, "Isn't it a bad time for me to bring this coffee?"
"Yes." Brian nodded, and then changed the subject. "But you came at the perfect time."
Before Joanne could react, Brian had pulled her into his arms.
Their chests were pressed together, and their heartbeats could almost be heard.
Joanne subconsciously exclaimed and looked at Brian with her eyes wide open in surprise.
He had been waiting for this moment for a long time since the afternoon. He did not have the patience to say anything unimportant to her now.
But Joanne still had something to say.
However, before she could open her mouth and say a word, her lips had been covered by Brian.
His kiss was full of plundering intent. It seemed that he did not intend to care about what she was going to say. He forcefully absorbed her taste and directly pressed her down on the sofa.
Joanne didn't resist and was still lost in thought.
"He didn't get to do this today during the day. I guess he should be quite upset about it.
"Now, the time and place are both suitable. Should I do something to make it up to him?"
Brian tried to get Joanne into the mood, but she was absent-minded.
He felt that he had been greatly provoked. He narrowed his eyes and bit her lips hard.
Joanne's lips were originally pink like cherry blossoms, but after being trampled by Brian, they had turned charmingly crimson. When Brian bit again, her lips instantly turned red, which was as attractive as a mystery.
Brian looked at her deeply and felt that he was losing himself step by step.
His biting caught Joanne off guard. She hissed in pain and came to her senses, only to meet his affectionate eyes again.
No matter what, this man had loved her as much as his life since the first time he saw her.
Joanne's eyelashes fluttered, and she took the initiative to kiss Brian. She put her arms around the back of his neck so that they could be closer to each other.
Brian's anger instantly dissipated, and he looked at Joanne in a daze. "What were you thinking about just now?"
While kissing Brian, Joanne gave an answer that was enough to make him lose control. "I've been thinking about you."
Brian felt as if his heart had been hit by something. He held Joanne and kissed her madly. His voice had begun to go hoarse. "Joanne, I'm right here."
Joanne still wanted to say something, but Brian's offensive was so fierce that she could not resist it at all.
She softened inch by inch, and finally, she completely submitted to Brian's attack.
In the end, Joanne was exhausted, but Brian still had no intention of stopping.
Joanne thought in a daze that the natural physical gap was probably the biggest unfairness between men and women.
Also, all the destined were unavoidable.
