Chapter 1182 - I can't go, I'm too slow.

"Auntie Yuna, are you leaving?"

In the last second, Yuna was still teasing Emily and having a good time.

The moment Emily's question passed through her eardrums, she was completely unable to react and could only stare blankly at Emily.

After freezing for a long time, Yuna suddenly realized that it was her earlier sentence "I will tell Auntie Joanne" that made the little one think that she was leaving.

How can she explain this ...?

Emily looked at Yuna, his childish face had an indescribable downturn, his ebony eyes seemed like they could overflow with tears at any time.

He knew that Yuna would leave one day, and also knew that once Yuna left this time, they might never be able to meet again.

So, the matter of Yuna's going away has always been a sensitive | topic in Emily's heart.

However, even if the topic is sensitive, when it needs to be faced, it still needs to be faced.

Yuna held Emily's hand and looked at him with a soft gaze, "I mean, in a couple of days, I might meet Auntie Joanne."

Mu blinked curiously, "Why?"

"The reception - did you know?" Yuna patiently explained to the little one, "There's a man who organized a reception, and he invited not only your daddy, but also Uncle Lambert. If your daddy and I attend together, we can meet Auntie Joanne at the reception."

Yuna tried to tell the little one that she wasn't leaving here to meet Joanne, she would just meet Joanne on some occasion.

But, once she goes, there's a good chance she won't be coming back.

So, in one way, Mu s worries ... are not entirely unnecessary.

What should she tell Emily about this?

Yuna didn't expect that Emily was more sensitive than she knew.

Her explanation didn't settle Mu's mind-

Emily looked at Yuna, lowered his voice, and somewhat cautiously asked after her, "Auntie Yuna, will you still come back after seeing Uncle Lambert and Auntie Joanne?"

"..."

In an instant, Yuna was as if he had been struck by something in his soul, unable to say a single word.

Mu pursed the corners of her lips and asked herself, "Auntie Yuna, I want you to come back, but I also hope that you won't come back."

Yuna's eyes burned, and she could only raise the corners of her lips to hide the tears in the bottom of her eyes, and tried her best to ask in a normal tone of voice, "Why?"

"I can't let you go!" Mu looked at Yuna with a smile, but he still couldn't hide his low spirits, "But you'll be safe if you leave here."

In the final analysis, Emily was still looking out for Yuna.

Yuna's tearfulness, which he had managed to suppress, surged out again, and the tears almost came out of his eyes.

Mu's eyes were also covered in a layer of mist, and she looked like she was on the verge of crying as well.

Emily, after all, was still young and couldn't control his emotions very well, plus Yuna's eyes were already foggy as well, he eventually couldn't control himself and said in a sobbing voice, "Auntie Yuna, you'd better go."

He couldn't bear to part with it, but he knew very well in his heart that only by leaving here could Auntie Yuna be cured of her illness and the little baby in her belly be safe and sound.

Emily, who was only five years old, overcame his emotions with reason and decided to let Yuna go.

Yuna reached out and embraced the little one into his arms, his voice trembling uncontrollably, "Emily, you ..."

She wanted to ask if Mu would like to go with her if she had the chance.

However, before she could finish her sentence, Mu shook her head.

Yuna let go of Emily and looked at him in confusion, "Why?"

Mu blinked her eyes, calmly looking like an adult, with a reasonable look, "Auntie Yuna, I can't go with you because I'm too slow to run, I'll hold you back!"

"Pfft..."

Yuna broke into tears all of a sudden.

She thought Emily would give her a barred answer, and she didn t expect that the little guy s reason was actually so ... real.

Seeing Yuna laughing, Emily laughed out along with her, then said in a serious manner, "Auntie Yuna, if I go away with you, daddy will be even more angry. In case you don't walk away, I will also be punished by daddy, so there will be no one to protect you."

"..."

It was only then that Yuna suddenly reacted to the fact that Emily didn't not want to go, but had her own considerations.

The little one knew that the chances of her escape being successful were not great, and that there was a high probability that she would be recaptured by Rowdy.

If he hadn't followed her along, he would have been able to protect her a bit with his tears when she was recaptured.

But if he was also captured and returned, if he was also to be punished by Conrad City, there would be no one to help her.

Sometimes, Yuna couldn't help but wonder if Emily was more than 5 years old.

If Mu was really just a 5 year old, how could he have thought things through so thoroughly?

Or is the kid a little genius?

Seeing Yuna's delayed response, Emily reached out her hand and shook it in front of her eyes, "Auntie Yuna?!"

Yuna barely came back to his senses and looked at the little one, "Huh?"

Mu didn't know when he had stopped crying, and his signature smile returned to his face, winking and grinning as he asked, "Do you want to take me out of here with you?"

Yuna nodded without hesitation, "If you are willing, of course I want to." Although Emily was Rowdy's son, she simply had no position to do so.

Emily was happy to hear this answer and pursed her small red | lips and smiled, "Auntie Yuna, I'm very happy, but I've still decided to stay."

Yuna thought for a moment and suddenly reacted to something, looking at Emily not quite sure, he asked, "You're doing this for your daddy, right?"

"... "Mu did not expect to be guessed by Yuna, unexpectedly cocked her head, and then nodded after a moment, "Uh-huh."

"..." Yuna knew he had guessed, and his heart inexplicably softened.

Emily explained seriously, "Auntie Yuna, after you're gone, daddy will definitely be very upset and might even try to find a way to get you back. I want to stay with daddy and convince him to give you up, so you'll be completely safe!"

"..."

Yuna clearly should have laughed, but tears came out first.

At this moment, she immensely wished that Emily was not Rowdy's son, so that she could take him with her without hesitation.

"Auntie Yuna," Mu gently hugged Yuna, "You have to be good from now on."

Yuna nodded with tears in her eyes, "I will."

A big one and a small one, both of them crying with red eyes, not able to go downstairs at all.

Emily thought about it and made what she thought was a good suggestion, "Auntie Yuna, let's play a game!"

Yuna wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes and nodded, "Yes."

The two worked seamlessly together in the world of the game and went on a killing spree that lasted until sundown, when they went downstairs as if nothing had happened.

Today, Rowdy didn't go out after he came back, and as soon as Yuna came downstairs, she saw him sitting on the sofa in the living room, and Milo was there as well.

Milo knows that Rowdy and Yuna have quarreled, and after thinking about it, he decides to start with Emily to ease the relationship between Rowdy and Yuna.

"Emily," Milo called Emily from a distance and asked, "How was your day, did you have fun?"

"Uh-huh." Mu nodded absently, "It was fun."

Milo then asked, "So did you tell Auntie Yuna?"

"..." Mu blinked her eyes, not quite understanding, "What am I going to tell Auntie Yuna oh?"

Milo was secretly anxious.

He couldn't figure it out, Emily was usually such a smart kid, when it came to the critical moment, how come he couldn't understand his hints?

He wanted him to tell Yuna - how much fun he had today, so he could clear Yuna's misunderstanding of Rowdy ah!

"Emily, you can tell Auntie Yuna ..."

Milo was unwilling to give up and tried to guide Emily, but halfway through his words, Yuna interrupted him with a voice,"Is dinner ready?"

"Mmm!" Mu cooperated and touched her little stomach, "I'm so hungry."

Milo could only put a hard brake on it and turned to say, "Dinner is ready, just waiting for you guys to come downstairs and start."

"Oh-!" Mu cheered, pulling Yuna towards the dining room, "Let's eat!"

Yuna and Emily's silhouettes disappeared from the living room in an instant and darted toward the dining room.

Milo looked at Rowdy with a difficult face, "Brother Rowdy, Miss Yuna she ..."

Rowdy knew that Milo wanted to help him and raised his hand, "Forget it."

The conflict between him and Yuna could not be solved by any outsider, only he could think of a solution himself.

Milo said helplessly, "Then ... I will go back first."

Rowdy "hmm", got up and walked towards the dining room.

Yuna and Emily were already preparing for dinner, and when they saw Rowdy, Emily took the initiative to open his mouth to greet him, "Daddy!"

Yuna right as if Rowdy did not exist, did not even look at him, and went ahead to give Emily dishes, urging the little guy not to be picky about his food, and to eat more green vegetables.

Rowdy eventually couldn't stand it anymore, slapped down his chopsticks and warned, "Yuna, there is a limit to my patience, what do you want?"

Yuna pondered for a while and felt that at such a time, it would be better for her not to mess with Rowdy than to do so.

If she pissed off Rowdy, he would most likely not bring her to the reception the day after tomorrow.

If she couldn't leave the mansion, she had no chance of escaping it.

Yuna took a bowl of soup and handed it to Rowdy,"Emily came back and already told me, he had a great time today."

The implication was that she had no more misunderstandings about Rowdy.

Yuna's attitude changed three hundred and sixty degrees, and Rowdy reacted after a while, glancing at Emily-

He thought that Emily helped him explain to Yuna.

Mu knew that Rowdy had misunderstood.

But what a wonderful misunderstanding.

He allowed this misunderstanding to happen!

Emily didn't say anything and made a "V" sign at Rowdy.

Rowdy laughed a little and took a sip of soup, his every move revealing great satisfaction.

He took Emily out for a trip, and it really did work.
