After Yuna returned to the Kent family this time, Rowdy's confinement of Yuna could be described as watertight, and Yuna had no way to step out of the door of the Kent family alone.
If he missed this opportunity, Wesley didn't know how long he would have to wait before he could wait again for a chance that could save Yuna.
Brian also wanted to know what Wesley was planning to do.
Joanne made sure that Rowdy had already left and couldn't possibly hear her before she spoke, "Brian, you contact Situ."
"Uh-huh."
Brian also has this intention, so he tried to connect the call with Wesley, but the headset just came "beep-beep-beep" sound.
This meant - Wesley unilaterally ended the call completely.
Brian's gaze froze for a moment, and his voice sank, "Contacting Wesley is not possible."
Joanne glared, peach blossom eyes full of satisfaction outside,"Didn't you guys agree to keep in touch all the time?"
That's what she heard with her own ears!
Why did Wesley break the agreement?
Brian picked up on Joanne's words, "Unless there are any unexpected circumstances."
Brian did instruct Wesley that they must keep in touch all the time.
Later, Mushi added, "Except for unforeseen circumstances."
Joanne almost couldn't react and froze, "What do you mean - there's some kind of unexpected situation on Wesley's side?"
"It's possible." Brian abruptly remembered Kai, "I'll contact Kai."
Kai answered the phone with divine speed as well, after only one ring, he immediately picked up the phone, his voice transmitting urgency, "Mr. Lambert, I was just about to call you!"
Brian suddenly had a bad feeling and furrowed his brows and asked, "Where's Wesley?"
"Hey, Mr. Lambert, I wanted to find you because of this matter!" Kai hurriedly said, "Didn't you pass on the picture of that necklace around Sister Yuna's neck? Brother Wesley studied it for a while, and I don't know what he came up with, told you that there was no need to delay any longer, and then left, leaving the earphones and everything in the apartment, alone!"
The more Kai spoke, the more agitated he became, obviously unable to understand why Wesley was so impulsive.
Brian's brows furrowed deeper, "What did Wesley bring?"
"..." Light said after a pause before saying, "A gun."
Except for when Joanne was trapped at the top of the mountain, her life and death uncertain, and when the two little ones were born, Brian hadn't been this nervous for more than ten years.
He grabbed his cell phone almost instantly and commanded, "Track Wesley's location!"
"Our people are tracking, ah, the results are out-" Kai hurriedly, said but suddenly stopped for half a second, and somewhat incredulously continued, "Brother Wesley . . went to the hotel, he's moving in the direction of the parking lot."
Brian thought of something and asked after him, "Does he know where Rowdy's car is parked?"
"He knows." Kai froze and said, "When Rowdy's car drove into the parking lot, Brother Seven even asked me to pay special attention to it. Mr. Lambert, you said ..."
Brian didn't have time to say anything more to Kai and instructed, "Take a few people to the parking lot to look for Wesley, remember, bring a gun."
"Yes!"
Without further ado, Kai told his men to get ready and follow him, and as he left, he instructed the others through the walkie-talkie to be vigilant and ready to enter combat at any time.
On this side of the hotel reception site, Brian also quickly calmed down, the first thing he thought of was to arrange Joanne and Norris Freya.
Right now, in this place, he could only trust Chris.
"Chris," Brian's expression is a bit gloomy, "You take care of Joanne and Freya, I'll go out for a while."
Joanne woke up as if from a dream and looked at Brian.
She heard clearly that Brian had just mentioned a gun.
She grabbed Brian's hand and looked at him uneasily, "Where are you going?"
Brian firmly covered Joanne's hand, signaling her to rest assured, and said, "Wesley has gone to find Rowdy, I'm going to check out the situation."
"You ..." Joanne's breath began to catch, panicked and uneasy to ask, "you and Rowdy will have a conflict?"
Brian knew that Joanne was worried and she was afraid that he would get hurt.
He touched Joanne's head and said softly, "Rowdy doesn't dare to do it easily, he can't afford the consequences of doing it."
Joanne was still uneasy, shaking her head and looking insistently at Brian,"What if he makes a move? You ..."
"Even if he makes a move, I'll be fine." Brian raises an eyebrow and says without warning, "Wesley will be the first to fight him."
"..."
Joanne felt like she was choking, and for a moment she actually didn't know what to say.
She thought Brian would calm her down or tell her that the people they brought were no less than Rowdy or something like that.
But he sold Wesley at once.
That said, Rowdy was indeed already struggling enough to cope with one Wesley, how could Brian and Wesley join forces and not be Rowdy's opponent?
"Joanne, don't delay." Chris reminds, "Let Brian go."
Joanne was a thousand times uneasy, but for the sake of Wesley's safety, she still chose to let go.
Norris Freya couldn't help but admonish, "Brian, pay attention to safety. Rowdy is so perverted, if he can't take any advantage from Boss Hayes, he might shift his target to stare at you."
Brian smiled, "I won't give him a chance." He said and kissed Joanne's forehead, "Don't be afraid, wait for me to come back."
Joanne nodded and watched Brian leave without looking away.
The footsteps of spring are already farther and farther away from Arlington, and after nightfall, the chill in the air is still very strong.
Brian walked out of the hotel and a henchman greeted him and handed Brian something.
Brian glanced at it, took it, skillfully pinned it to his waist, and asked in a deep voice, "What's the situation on Wesley's side?"
The henchman looked at the time and said with a gloomy expression, "By this time, Brother Wesley and Rowdy should have already met."
Brian's breathing almost stopped for a moment as he commanded in a deep voice, "Take me there."
The underlings guessed correctly, when Wesley arrived at the parking lot, he happened to see Rowdy and Yuna.
Yuna was wearing a camel-colored coat, and his footsteps were a little hesitant.
Rowdy appeared to be holding Yuna, but in reality, his every movement was controlling Yuna.
Wesley's complexion steeply sank as he dodged and appeared, "Rowdy!"
Only then did Rowdy notice this uninvited guest, Wesley, pulling Yuna to a stop, hiding Yuna behind him in one fell swoop, sharply pulling out his gun and aiming it at Wesley's forehead, trying to force Wesley to back off, "I'm warning you, back off!"
Obviously, Wesley didn't even put Rowdy's words in his ears.
He acted as if he didn't see Rowdy's muzzle, moving forward step by step, his gaze locked on Yuna.
Yuna was not a well-behaved and obedient person either, not knowing when she had already stepped out, her entire person was exposed to Wesley's line of sight.
She found out about Wesley before Rowdy did.
She was too familiar with Wesley's figure and scent, and the moment Wesley appeared in the parking lot, she had already realized that he had come.
When he really appeared, when his silhouette was reflected in her eyes bit by bit, her heart felt like it was gripped by an invisible hand and pulled frantically.
There is a kind of thought that is silent, sinking into the deepest part of the heart, fermenting and swelling day by day.
When the one she had been thinking about appeared, her long pent up emotions came rushing in, almost bubbling out of the walls of her heart.
Yuna's eyes began to heat up, and tears almost came out of her eyes.
The only thing she was thankful for was that it was nighttime and the parking lot was dimly lit enough that he had a brief period of time to force the tears back and keep himself from revealing anything.
Rowdy had no time to care about Yuna, he obviously didn't expect that Wesley actually wasn't afraid of death.
He pulled the trigger and asked threateningly, "What do you want, Wesley, what do you want?"
"Rowdy, I happen to want to ask you as well--" Wesley sneered, staring at Rowdy grimly, "What is the necklace on Yuna's neck?"
"What is that necklace, what does it have to do with you?" Rowdy wrapped his arm around Yuna's waist, his lips brushed Yuna's ear, deliberately making a very intimate appearance with Yuna, and slowly said, "As long as Yuna wears the necklace, it means that she is willing ah."
The light in the parking lot was dim and unclear, and Wesley could not see the expression on Yuna's face.
But what does he know.
He knew that Yuna didn't even want to wear this necklace, she was forced by Rowdy.
He also knew how Yuna was feeling at the moment.
She was stalling so hard to wait for him to find a way, for him to appear in front of her and save her from Rowdy, right?
Now he shows up.
Wesley's hands clenched into fists, a sternness filled with a murderous aura emanating from his gaze, "Even if Yuna is willing, have you thought about accidents? Once this thing goes out of control, have you ever thought that Yuna's life will be in danger?"
"I'm confident in what I've made." Rowdy lifted up the necklace's pendant, sized it up, and said nonchalantly, "Wesley, I know what you want to do. Yuna, come forward and tell Wesley if you're willing to go back with him?"
Yuna didn't move, and Rowdy pushed her in the dark.
She took a step forward and stood right under a pillar of light.
The light illuminated her her entire body clearly and distinctly, the look on her face as clear as a nightmare.
Rowdy came to Yuna's ear, intimately urging, "Yuna, speak, speak to Wesley."
Yuna knew that Rowdy wanted to hear what she had to say, and she had to act.
Once she messed up the act, everything would be lost.
Yuna expressionlessly looked at Wesley, coldly laughed, all mockery in her voice,"Wesley, are you crazy? How could I possibly go back with you?"
"..."
Wesley didn't say anything, looking at Yuna for an instant.
It really had been too long since he'd seen her, so long that he'd only been able to live on the limited memories he had of her.
She's been gone so long that she's finally willing to appear before him again ...
