Chapter 1253 Sir, you're going to pay a big price.

In Wesley's impression, although Emily loved to play, he wasn't the kind of child who didn't distinguish between occasions.

The Kid invited him to play the game, perhaps for some other purpose?

Kai looked at Wesley curiously, "Brother Wesley, do you really want to accompany this kid to play games?" Where else would they have time to play games!

It suddenly occurred to Wesley that this game could be voiced when he entered the group state.

He seemed to understand Emily's intention.

Wesley no longer hesitated, clicked to accept the invitation, into | into the group, and indeed saw Yuna avatar of the lower right corner of the voice icon lit.

In the next second, Emily's voice came over, "Uncle Hayes, open the voice!"

The Kid's voice sounded as if he was on the verge of a hundred thousand deaths.

"Uh-huh." Wesley tapped his voice in passing, "I'm on."

"Whew-" Mu breathed a long sigh of relief and said very thankfully, "Thank God you're as smart as I am!"

"..."

Wesley frowned, what do you mean he's as smart as the brat, he clearly dumped the brat half a street okay?

In the end, Wesley decided not to be general with Emily and went straight to the point, "What do you want to tell me?"

"..." Mu's voice lowered, "My daddy sent Auntie Yuna away."

"I know." Holding on to his last glimmer of hope, Wesley asked, "Emily, do you know where Auntie Yuna was sent?"

Light stared at the screen of the tablet and swallowed, expecting that Mu could provide them with a shortcut.

Wesley was the opposite - he wasn't expecting much.

You know, Rowdy is not a budding newcomer to society, he has long been an old fart.

Now, Yuna and Emily were completely under Rowdy's control, and when Emily contacted him, Rowdy must have known about it.

Rowdy wasn't stupid, he couldn't possibly let Emily leak Yuna's news, instead, he could possibly use Emily to deliver false news to him, misleading the direction of his investigation, or simply not let Emily know anything.

As it turned out, Wesley was not wrong in his guess.

Emily's voice lowered, very lost, said, "Uncle Hayes, I'm sorry, I asked daddy, but he refused to tell me, he just said ...," the little guy wanted to say.

"It's okay." Wesley soothed the little one, and asked in a gentle manner, "What did your daddy say?"

Mu slowly continued, "Daddy said that Auntie Yuna is in a place where we can't find her even if we knew."

Wesley furrowed his brows, "... I know."

"Uncle Hayes ...," Emily's tone added a touch of anxiety, but it was more of a plea, "Can you hurry up and get Auntie Yuna back?"

"I want to too." Wesley said in as relaxed a tone as he could, "Don't worry, I'll do my best." After a pause, he asked, "Do you trust me?"

"Uh-huh!" Mu nodded without hesitation, her tone full of certainty, "I trust you very much!"

"That's good." Wesley said, "When I find Aunt Yuna, I'll find a way to let you know."

"Well, there's one more thing-" Mu said busily, "If you find Auntie Yuna, could you listen tell her for me- I miss her. "

Emily and Wesley's feelings for Yuna were different.

Emily was dependent on Yuna.

Wesley was in love with Yuna.

But, no matter what, they missed Yuna the same.

Wesley's tone softened considerably, "Auntie Yuna will definitely say that she misses you too."

Emily laughed quaintly and ended the voice conversation.

Wesley also quit the game and looked at the tablet thoughtfully.

Kai was also wondering, "'A place you can't find even if you know it's there' - what kind of place is it?"

"..."

Wesley was deep in thought.

With just such a sentence, he just couldn't surmise anything even if he had the ability to go against the grain, but he remembered something else.

This matter is related to Wendy's real parents.

Wendy knows that she is an orphan, but she doesn't realize that her real parents are Interpol officers who were responsible for going undercover to track down the Kent family back in the day.

They managed to gather enough information, their identities were revealed, and they left this world in a car accident orchestrated by Larry, Rowdy's uncle.

The information they had gathered was kept on a memory card.

Before leaving this world, they put the memory card into the peace pouch that Wendy had with her, and it finally rolled over into the hands of Wesley.

Unfortunately, after so many years, the memory card had been damaged, and Wesley could only hand it over to his men to try their best to repair it.

All of it, Wendy was kept in the dark.

Until today, Wendy still simply believe that her real parents died in an accident, and she became an orphan purely by accident.

But Gavin knew everything.

Wesley looked at the time, it was still early, so he called Gavin.

Gavin recovered well after the surgery, and was recently preparing to be discharged from the hospital, his voice sounded no longer any different from before, and his bottom was full of energy,"Wesley? It's so late, what's the matter?"

Wesley asked directly, "Is Wendy there?"

"... She's in the shower."

Gavin said that he had already walked outside the balcony of the ward.

He didn't think that Wesley was looking for Wendy, on the contrary, what they were going to say next was most likely something that they couldn't let Wendy know.

The truth was exactly as Gavin had guessed--

"Do you still remember the memory card left by Wendy's parents?" Wesley tried to use concise language to say, "I've almost repaired it, and now I need to use the information inside, and it may ... involve Wendy."

"..."

The most valuable thing about Wendy is not her persistence as a healer, but her innocence, her willingness to believe that the world is beautiful.

Gavin had always hoped that if he could, he wanted to protect Wendy's innocence forever.

But she was going to graduate school, and she had to learn to accept the unexpected, to see the ugliness behind the beauty of the world.

There was also her birth, whether she wanted to know the truth or not should be her own choice, not his private decision to hide it for her when he felt it was for her own good.

Gavin heard movement coming from behind him and turned back to see Wendy rubbing her hair and coming out of the bath|room.

His gaze lingered on Wendy, and he said to Wesley, "Whatever you want to do, go ahead and do it. On Wendy's side, I'll take care of it."

"..." Wesley was not quite sure, and asked again, "Is it okay?"

"Suddenly knowing that her birth is not that simple, and also involved with people like Rowdy, Wendy will definitely suffer a little stimulation." Gavin paused, and then fixedly continued, "But it doesn't matter, she now has me, I will accompany her to face everything."

With Gavin's words, Wesley was quite relieved and said thank you to Gavin, then hung up the phone.

Kai was busy asking, "Brother Wesley, what did Gavin say?"

"Wendy's side, he'll handle it." Wesley got up and said, "Let's go back to G City."

That memory card, still in G. The restoration is nearing completion.

Kai nodded and arranged for a private jet to fly back to G City with Wesley overnight to seize the time to repair the memory card.

At noon the next day, Wesley inserted the memory card into the computer and displayed the full contents.

However, because so much time had passed, much of the information that Wendy's parents had investigated had become useless.

Finally, a map with markings caught Wesley's attention.

It was a map of Asia with certain places marked with red dots.

In these two years, Brian had been investigating the various bases of the Kent family, but Rowdy had hidden the bases very secretly, and Brian had only found out two of them, which corresponded exactly to a certain two places marked on the map.

This meant that Wendy's real parents, back then, had also investigated the Kent family's bases, and had found out quite a lot, and all those places they had marked on the map should be.

None of these places, however, should be publicly named.

In order to confirm the suspicion in his heart, Wesley passed the map to Rolando and asked him to start investigating.

Rolando moved quickly, and soon sent back the answer, he told Wesley, the places that were marked, most of them are private islands that have not yet been publicly named, and there is a small part of the surrounding countries can not control the isolated island, occupied by pirates as a base.

What these places are called should be known only to the owners of the islands.

And these islands should all be owned by Conrad City.

Following these clues, Wesley turned to think that at a time like this, Rowdy hiding Yuna inside his own base was precisely the safest.

In the bases, Yuna did not have the ability to escape, and it would be difficult for them to find those bases that did not even have an official name, let alone find Yuna.

That was why Rowdy said that even if they knew where Yuna was, they couldn't find her.

In fact, there's a good chance that Hsu Younin is somewhere marked.

Kai looked dazzled and shook his head, "Brother Wesley, there are so many places, do we have to look for them one by one? Can Sister Yuna last that long?"

It's too late to find them one by one.

They had to determine, within half a day, where exactly Yuna was.

Wesley picked up his cell phone and called Brian.

Today is the weekend, Brian has a rare half day to stay at home with the two little ones, and when he received a call from Wesley, he knew that this half day was not available.

As soon as Brian picked up the phone, Wesley opened the door and asked, "Is Interpol investigating Rowdy?"

"That's right." Brian said, "They've been staring at Kent Rui City for longer than we have."

Wesley told Brian about Yuna and the map, then analyzed:

"Too much time has passed, and most of the locations marked by Wendy's parents are no longer valid. But I am certain that Rowdy must have hidden Yuna in some base. That base, probably established by Rowdy later, is not on the map markings at all, it will take us a lot of time to find it, but ... I'm afraid that Yuna won't last until then."

At times like this, he could only seek cooperation.

Brian had already guessed Wesley's intentions, but still said, "Keep talking, I'm listening."

He wanted to give Wesley a little time to think it over, and if he really wanted to do that, how much he would really have to pay ...
