Chapter 1285 Breakfast, or ... me? (1)

"..."

Wesley stared at Yuna with an inscrutable gaze, not knowing what he was thinking, and hesitated to speak.

When Yuna said "only you can help me", he thought it was something difficult, and even thought complacently that Yuna finally realized his importance.

As it turns out, it's just a little thing like getting your gamertag back?

Why did you ask him so seriously for such a trivial matter?

Yuna couldn't figure out what Wesley was thinking, and asked half uneasily and half tentatively, "Are you feeling troubled?"

Wesley said as he pulled back his thoughts, "I can help you."

The corner of Yuna's lips lifted up, just wanting to say "thank you", then remembered that Wesley had warned not to say these two words to him again, she stiffly took her voice back and said with a smile, "I knew you'd help me!"

"But I won't help you for nothing." Wesley broke Yuna's beautiful fantasy and asked if he had a point, "You're going to tell me what benefits I have after helping you?"

"..."

The smile on the corners of Yuna's lips froze and froze like encountering zero-degree weather.

When she thought about it, it was true that Wesley never did anyone a favor easily. Seeking a favor from him often came at a great cost.

Except, can't she be an exception?

But now, she's got nothing left but her, ah.

Yuna thought for a moment, shook his hand with the ring, and said, "I can promise you that I won't even take off this ring in the future."

Wesley narrowed his stern eyes, and in an instant, the air pressure in the restaurant lowered to straight overhead.

He warned, word for word, "Take it off and I'll break your arm!"

"... "Yuna took a breath and brought the conversation back on track, "We made a deal, I won't take it off in the future. How about it, deal?"

This trading condition, Wesley was not satisfied, what he wanted was far from that simple.

But what he wanted, he could figure out how to get it himself.

Yuna could hide from the first day, but not the fifteenth!

Wesley hooked his lips meaningfully and said slowly, "No problem. Deal."

Yuna lowered his hand, thinking he had dodged a bullet, and smiled unusually brightly.

The two of them were halfway through their meal when Kai walked in, "Brother Wesley, Sister Yuna, there's a piece of news for you - Milo has brought Emily to the airport, and has already boarded the plane back to A City without incident."

"Got it."

Wesley's reaction was cold and indifferent, as if the person who had just ordered Kai to continue following and protecting Emily was not him.

Yuna sighed in relief with a "Hoo-", and the rice in his mouth became fresher.

After boarding the plane, Emily could return to A City without any problems.

There's no way those rivals in Conrad City are going to fly their private jets and do things in the air, is there?

Kai then said, "Seven, there is ... what to arrange for the next trip?"

"You go out first." Wesley said, "I'll tell you later."

Kai slanted his eyes over to look at Yuna, revealed an understanding smile, nodded, and turned to leave.

Yuna looked at Wesley,"Kai just laughed like that, what does it mean?"

"Being silly." Wesley directly and roughly digressed and asked, "Do you want to rest here for one night and return to A City early tomorrow morning, or go back right after dinner?"

Yuna stirred the bowl of soup, "What about you? What do you think?"

Mushi said, "I'm with you."

"... "Yuna was a bit unable to react to this sudden shock of preferential treatment, touched the tip of his nose and said, "Then let's go back after dinner."

Wesley didn't ask why, directly followed by informing Kai, ready to return to Arlington.

Yuna hesitated and volunteered, "I don't want to stay here anymore."

She doesn't belong here.

She was only here because someone wanted her dead. Even if she didn't end up getting hurt in any real way, this place still cast a shadow over her.

She wanted to go back to the place she knew, the place that would give her security.

Wesley put down his chopsticks, looked deeply at Yuna and said, "I know."

What Yuna was thinking, what she was afraid of, and what she was expecting, he knew all of it.

Yuna was a little stunned as she looked at Wesley's handsome and demonic face.

She had never found her mind that difficult to understand, but what she was thinking when she was loyal to Rowdy was often unknown even to Rowdy, who prided himself on knowing her best.

It's amazing how easily Wesley can say - he knows.

And, he seems to really know ...

Like suddenly tasting a mouthful of honey, Yuna's heart was sweet, but on his mouth, he couldn't help but mumble and spit, "What do you know?" Saying that, he put down his chopsticks, "I'm full."

Wesley looked at the leftovers - there was almost a quarter of each dish left.

However, Yuna had never been a big eater. She had eaten so much that she had probably played to her limit.

Wesley did not ask for a "CD-ROM", gave Yuna a bowl of soup and said, "Drink it."

"..." Yuna touched her stomach - she felt that she had already braced herself for the mouth of her throat, and with another bowl of soup, she might have to throw up.

Wesley looked at Yuna, "Don't want to drink?"

Yuna thought that Wesley would say "then don't drink" next, so she nodded frantically, hoping that Wesley would be kind enough to let her go.

However, life is full of surprises -

Wesley scooped a tablespoon of soup from the bowl and said breezily, "I can feed you."

"Pfft ..." Yuna almost choked on herself, looking incredulously at Wesley, "Why don't you follow the cards?"

Wesley raised an eyebrow and asked back, unimpressed, "What's a card that's played according to 'card theory'?"

"You drink it yourself." Yuna grunted, "You've already served it."

Without thinking, Wesley retorted, "I served it to you."

Younin Hsu,"..."

Stalemate to the end, Yuna still compromised and drank the bowl of soup, and Wesley finally showed a satisfied look and led her out of the villa.

As he closed the door, Wesley glanced back at the villa, the deep color of the night hiding his eyes, leaving the onlookers no way to see what he was thinking.

Yuna didn't know why, but as if she knew in her heart that she should ask this question, she asked offhandedly, "Mu Shijiu, what is this place?"

She had a vague feeling - this place seemed to be very important to Wesley.

Wesley's reaction, however, was greatly unexpected by Yuna.

He withdrew his eyes and said absently, "Bought it for fun when I was bored. Go away."

"..."

Yuna really wanted to give Wesley a double hit of 666.

That's the height of "money and freedom", isn't it?

Kai knew the inside story, but Wesley obviously didn't want Yuna to know, he had to keep silent about the matter and reminded, "Brother Wesley, Sister Yuna, the airport side is ready, let's set off back."

Wesley pulled open the car door and gestured to Yuna, "Go up."

Yuna also did not know if it was her illusion, she always felt ... that the atmosphere seemed to have suddenly become a little sad.

Shouldn't everyone be happy that they're going back?

Maybe she was overthinking it.

Yuna didn't bother to think about it any further, and rushed to the airport peacefully, with only the joy of returning home in his heart.

They were traveling on Wesley's private jet, which was much more spacious and comfortable than the airlines' passenger planes, and the temperature of the cabin was regulated just right.

Wesley just sat down, the cell phone rang, the screen shows "Joanne".

He didn't answer the phone and directly handed it to Yuna.

Yuna understood as soon as she took a look at the name on the caller ID - at a time like this, Joanne calling Wesley must be looking for her.

Yuna picked up the phone, suppressed his joy, tried to make his voice sound normal, and slowly said, "Joanne, it's me."

Joanne recognized Yuna's voice in a second and couldn't help but laugh out, "Yuna! Wesley really found you!"

If she wasn't extremely restrained, Joanne would almost be so excited that she would lose her temper.

Yuna glanced at Wesley, turned her back to him, gave a "hmm" sound, and said with a smile, "Joanne, don't worry, I'm fine."

"It's good that it's okay." Joanne was excited like a child, "By the way, when will you be back?"

"We're already on the airplane." Yuna said, "It's estimated that we can arrive in A City first thing tomorrow morning."

"Great!" Joanne's voice was filled with surprise, "Yuna, after you and Wesley go home and settle down, come over to my place! I'll prepare a delicious meal for you to welcome you! It just so happens that Gavin has been discharged from the hospital, he and Wendy will also come over together."

"Yeah, see you tomorrow!"

Yuna and Joanne said a few more words, hung up the phone, but suddenly reacted to Joanne's words are not quite right, the path into meditation ...

Seeing Yuna's contemplative look, Wesley teased her, "What thought-provoking words did Joanne say that deserve you to think for so long?"

"Joanne said that she just said 'when we get home and settle down'." Yuna turned back and looked at Wesley, "But, my home is in G City."

"..."

In fact, both Yuna and Wesley no longer had a home in G City.

In the future, they can only live in Arlington.

So, Joanne's words weren't right, Yuna didn't know the truth, that's why she felt wrong.

Wesley did not move to round up Joanne's words, "Joanne might have been too excited and forgotten these details."

When Yuna thought about it carefully, it seemed like it was possible.

She nodded understandingly, "I suppose so."

Wesley didn't continue with this topic and brought Yuna into the room, saying, "You rest first."

Yuna asked offhandedly, "What about you?"

She swore she was just asking.

However, Wesley had clearly misunderstood her.

Wesley looked at Yuna meaningfully, "If you want me to stay, you can just say it."

Younin Hsu,"..."

Hey, how did Wesley talk as if she couldn't wait for him to stay?

Yuna felt that no matter what the truth was, she had to deny it - vehemently!
