Chapter 1394 can't stand criticism (1)

The origin of the name "West Encounter" is quite simple.

Back then, when Brian and Iris were being tracked down by Rowdy, they borrowed Joanne's grandmother's house.

When Joanne's grandmother was young, she was a famous celebrity in the city of A. She lived an elegant life and named her small house "West Window".

Brian and Joanne met in the house called "West Window".

That's where the name West Encounter comes from.

In the end, Wesley eloquently summarized, "Calling it 'Window Encounter' was too hard to hear, so Brian took 'West Encounter'."

"... "Yuna was speechless for a while, "You mean, because 'Window Encounter' is inappropriate, that's why West Encounter is called 'West Encounter'?"

Wesley nodded, "You could say the same thing."

"..."

Yuna silently thought that Aiden would want to hit someone when he heard this when he grew up.

Wesley sat down, looked at Yuna, and asked in a seemingly casual manner, "How come you and Wendy talked about the name of Aiden?"

Yuna caressed her belly, a light smile on her lips, "Because Wendy asked me if we've helped name this little one?"

When she finished, she looked at Wesley if she had a point.

Of course Wesley understood what Yuna meant.

He poked Yuna's forehead and shrugged it off, "A good name needs to come with the territory."

The implication is that they don't have to rush.

Karma was there and they were able to help the little one get a good name naturally.

Yuna looked at Wesley with suspicion, "Are you sure you're not looking for an excuse?"

"Do you think I'm someone who will make excuses to escape?" Wesley changed the topic in a raw manner, "Are you hungry? I'll ask someone to bring up dinner."

Yuna shook her head, "I'm not hungry yet, and besides, Joanne said that she'd go home to help me prepare dinner and have Winston send it over later."

"Good thing too." Wesley said, "I still have a few points of paperwork to deal with, so I'll go to the study for a bit."

It was only when he entered the study that Wesley breathed a sigh of relief.

It's not for nothing that he's delaying naming the baby.

The first is because he doesn't have a clue.

The name will be something that will stay with the child for the rest of his life, and the more he tries to give the child a good name, the more clueless he gets.

He had also secretly asked Brian in private, and Brian said the origin of the name Aiden, and then only said two words, "Let it be."

When facing Yuna, he used Brian's words to perfume Yuna as usual.

The most important reason was because he was afraid.

He was afraid that in the end, all the child would leave in the world would be a name he didn't get to call.

If that's the case, then he'd rather have never named the child.

Wesley didn't know how long he stayed in the study until he heard movement coming from the ward before he got up and left.

As soon as he pushed open the door of the study, a fragrance of rich chicken soup came to his nose, and Yuna and Mina gathered around the meal on the dining table with an intoxicated look on their faces.

"Gosh ...," Mina took a hard, deep breath, "I'll take Jane-Ann's cooking over water!"

Yuna knew nothing about cooking, but looking at the complex dishes and exquisite plating on the table, he nodded with deep empathy,"Without a deep foundation, you really can't make a meal like this."

Mina was dumbfounded, "I wonder if I start practicing my cooking skills now, can I reach Joanne's level in a few years?"

"It's a bit hard ... right?" Although Yuna said this, his eyes always stayed on the rice, "I heard from Joanne that she started cooking in high school."

"High school?" Mina felt surprised, "Isn't Jane-Ann the eldest Miss of the Scott Family? How come she's been cooking since high school?"

"Her mother died when she was still in her first year of high school, and not long after that, her father married her stepmother into the family, and at that time, when Brother Chris wasn't by her side, she hadn't suffered much, and learning how to cook, she should have been forced to do it." Yuna paused, smiled, and continued, "But now, her face completely shows no traces of being treated poorly by life."

"That's because she married love!" Mina said with certainty, "Being married to a man as good as Mr. Lambert can completely make up for all the injuries she suffered during her teenage years."

"... "Yuna thought about it and felt it made sense, so he nodded.

Mina thought of something and added, "Then again, Seven's a good guy too, and he's a little out of my league!"

Yuna was more interested in this topic.

She looked at Mina curiously, "What do you mean ... Szell is so good it's beyond your expectations?"

"You also know what Seven's style used to be like, right?" Mina looked like she was scared just thinking about it and shuddered for a moment before continuing, "I didn't even dare to look directly into Brother Wesley's eyes before! It was only after I came over to protect you that I realized that Brother Wesley could also take the gentle route. Of course, this route is limited to you! For others, he'll do whatever he wants!"

Yuna was mulling over Mina's words when he heard a footstep from behind him.

She and Mina turned back in unison, and were caught off guard to see Wesley.

I can't believe I'm speaking of the devil!

Mina was so scared that the hairs on her body almost stood up, and she gathered her face and called out with a straight face, "Brother Wesley!" Then said, "That ... If there's nothing else, I'll go out first!"

After Mina slipped away, only Wesley and Yuna remained in the living room.

Yuna looked at Wesley idly, "You heard it all, right?"

Wesley sat down opposite Yuna and asked knowingly, "What did you hear?"

"Those words that Mina complimented you ah." Joanne held her chin and looked seriously at Wesley, "Don't you think that Mina was complimenting you?"

Wesley snorted coldly, his voice cold and deep, "She should be glad that she's complimenting me. Otherwise, she would have already been fired."

"Hey ...," Yuna looked incredulous, "You're not someone who can't stand criticism like that, right?"

Wesley was uncooperative, "All the time."

"... "Yuna was speechless for a while, and after a moment, asked with less certainty, "But what would you do if someone criticized you?"

"It's very simple," Wesley said bluntly, "Fire him."

"..." Yuna "coughed", deliberately making things difficult for Wesley, "So... . what if I criticize you?"

"You?" Wesley raised his eyebrows in a cloudy manner, looking meaningfully at Yuna, "There are plenty of ways for me to clean you up."

Yuna shuddered just like Mina had just done, and decisively changed the topic, "Let's eat, or the food should get cold!"

After dinner, Mushi Jue said that he had something to do, so he went back into the study.

Mina brought in fruits for Yuna and felt strange, saying in disbelief, "Brother Wesley seems to be very busy lately ..."

"Uh-huh." Yuna nodded, "Yeah."

But Wesley never said what he was busy with.

Yuna could only silently guess that it was probably a company matter.

If it was a company matter that she didn't understand anyway, she simply didn't ask.

If it was something else, Wesley shouldn't have told her, and it would have been futile for her to ask.

Just like that, after another day, Yuna's condition slowly improved.

On Monday morning, when Yuna woke up, Wesley was no longer in the room, she thought that Wesley had gone to the company, but when she got up, she saw Wesley walk in from the living room, still wearing casual home clothes.

Yuna lifted the quilt and lazily looked at Wesley,"Aren't you going to the company?"

"Not going." Wesley said faintly, "I'm in the hospital office."

Yuna got out of bed, walked over to Wesley and looked at him, "Is it because of me?"

On Saturday afternoon, she suddenly fainted, and thanks to the fact that Wesley was at the hospital, she was able to find out in time, and she received prompt medical attention.

That one time, it should have scared Wesley.

Wesley didn't want to give Yuna any psychological burden and denied, "It's not because of you, but I don't want to go."

"You don't need to hide it, I already know." Yuna tried to act like he was already fine, and lightly said, "When you're not around, Mina will guard me every inch of the way, so you really don't need to worry about me, go and get busy with yourself!"

Wesley was not moved, nor did he take Yuna's words, and said, "Breakfast has been sent over, go out and eat."

Yuna looked helpless, "Hey, are you listening to me?"

"Hear that." Wesley said in exasperation, "But I won't listen."

Yuna,"..." What's the difference between that and not listening?

While eating breakfast, Yuna had been wondering how to make Wesley listen to her and obediently go to the company.

She was already fine, and it was such a waste of talent for Wesley to guard her like this without moving an inch.

Yuna didn't expect that things would be solved without her having to think of a way.

After breakfast, Wesley answered the phone, and when he hung up, his brows had knitted deeply as he said, "I'm going to go to the company."

Yuna was happy to hear this, waving her hand at Wesley,"Go on, I'm fine with being alone!"

Wesley was really uneasy about Yuna being alone in the hospital, looking towards Mina, before he had time to speak, Mina jumped ahead and said, "Seventh brother, I know what you're going to say. You can rest assured to go and busy yourself, I will take care of Sister Yuna!"

Wesley changed into a handsome formal dress, and instructed the bodyguard outside the door a few more times before leaving the hospital.

In the large living room, only Yuna and Mina remained.

Mina "tsked" twice and teased, "I can't believe it, is this still Seven?"

"Hmm?" Yuna looked at Mina in disbelief.

Mina pondered for a moment and said, "Brother Wesley used to be all thunder and lightning, where would he care so much? However, why do I feel that this humane and caring Brother Wesley is cuter than the cool Brother Wesley from before!"

Yuna shook his head and said, "Don't ever let Wesley hear you describe him as 'cute'."

Mina almost choked on her toast, "Why?"

"If you use words like 'cute' on him, he will only feel that you are simply criticizing him." Yuna said in a serious manner, "He said that he's a person who can't stand criticism, and if you criticize him, he'll fire you!"
