Mina is really hurt!
Yuna didn't know whether he was surprised or shocked, and his entire body froze.
She remembered that Brian and Wesley were very consistent in their evaluation of Mina Mina was the one with the most outstanding strength out of all the female henchmen.
Brian and Wesley could never have imagined, right, that the most outstanding girl in their eyes had gone out for half an hour and returned with injuries.
Yuna reacted only after a while and walked out quickly, "Mina, what's going on? How did you get hurt?"
Mina looked like nothing was wrong, shrugged her shoulders, and downplayed the situation, "An accident, and it hurt."
"Is the injury going to be serious?" Yuna felt pain even as he looked at the blood on the gauze, then asked, "Is the wound treated?"
"It's just a normal bruise, it doesn't matter." Mina said as if nothing had happened, "I've had injuries much worse than this before, it's really nothing!"
"No matter what, the wound still needs to be treated properly." Yuna urged, "Otherwise inflammation will be troublesome."
"Hey, it's fine." Mina waved her hand and said loudly, "Yeh-Lu took care of it all for me."
Looking at Mina's current stance, this minor injury really didn't seem worth mentioning to her.
Only Yuna knew what Mina was thinking.
For their kind, scrapes are really just a minor thing.
But that wasn't why Mina didn't care about her wounds.
The main reason was that for Mina right now, the bruises were no more serious than the fact that Kai had a fling.
The pain of the wound was not a millionth of the pain in her heart, was it?
That little scrape, naturally, becomes a negligible presence.
Yuna pulled Mina back to the living room, made her sit on the sofa, and said, "Do you want to rest for two days?"
She was wrong, and leaving Mina alone for a while simply wasn't enough.
Also, how easy is it to work out emotional issues.
What Mina really needed was some time just for her to drain the pain from her heart.
Mina, however, with an expression of suspicion that she had heard wrongly, pointed to the wound on her leg and said, "This small injury, it really isn't enough to rest for two days ..."
Yuna's tone was euphemistic,"Mina, actually ..."
Without waiting for Yuna to finish her sentence, Mina interrupted her and said, ''Sister Yuna, do you think that I'm injured and might not be able to protect you? Let me tell you, this small injury can't affect my fighting ability at all! Now even if a pack of wolves comes, I can still protect your safety!"
Yuna was amused by Mina's "ferocious" analogy, so he gave up and said, "Fine. But no matter what, you need to rest first. Also, we're safe now, you don't need to protect me or fight with the wolves, sit down and rest for a while."
"Good." Mina didn't care about the wound on her leg at all, comfortably crossed her legs and handed Yuna the grapefruit, "Here, the grapefruit you asked for."
Yuna took the grapefruit and said with remorse, "For these two grapefruits, you paid too much."
"Well, I think so!" Mina nodded with deep empathy, "So I'm going to find a way to make it up to myself tonight!"
"This is easy!" Yuna leapt to his feet and said, "Don't you really like Joanne's cooking, I'll ask her to cook a little more at night to make it up for you as well!"
"Well ... this can be had!" Mina said, with a twist of words, "But it's not enough to satisfy your appetite."
"..." Yuna stared at Mina unexpectedly, "Then what else do you have to fulfill?"
Mina winked at Yuna, and with a wind|lovely smile, said, "I'm going to tease a little fresh meat tonight!"
"..."
Yuna's mouthful of cool white boiled water clogged in his throat, and he hurriedly swallowed it, choking himself and coughing violently for several times.
She was right not to break it to Mina about liking Kai.
Now it seems that Mina can't face this herself.
She ... better not fool around.
Since Mina thought she was hiding it well, let her keep the secret.
Unrequited love is a beautiful thing with a sour edge.
Most people in unrequited love are willing to keep that little secret in their hearts, and experience all the sorrows, joys and beauties related to that person all by themselves.
Yuna believed that Mina was a grown|year-old person who had seen a lot, she could handle her feelings well.
In the afternoon, when it was about to get dark, Kai sent Wesley back.
Wesley hears about Mina's injury and tells her to go back and rest first.
"Thank you seventh brother!" Mina also didn't want to stay as a light bulb, waving her hand at Wesley and Yuna, "I'll leave first."
"Good." Yuna urged, "You pay attention to the wound on your leg!"
"Don't worry!" Mina made an 'OK' gesture at Yuna, with a certainty and a look that she was invincible, "A small wound, it can't do anything to me!"
After Mina left, Brian sat down next to Yuna with a cup of ice water and said, "Mina should have followed you for too long."
"What are you trying to say?" Yuna defensively dumped the pot on Wesley first, "Then again, hasn't Mina been following you for longer?"
"When she followed me, she didn't become like me." Wesley raised his eyebrows and stared at Yuna, "After following you, she became more and more like you."
"... Yes?" Yuna expressed his skepticism, "When did Mina look like me?"
Brian sipped his water and said in a cloudy voice, "Time to show off."
"..."
Yuna was ... speechless at once.
She does like to talk herself into the world when she's being feisty.
So it does seem that Mina is quite like her in that respect.
But that didn't mean that Wesley was right.
Yuna met Wesley's gaze and retorted nonchalantly, "That's not right, it's because you found out that Mina looks like me that you let her follow you, right?"
There weren't a lot of outstanding girls under Wesley, and it wasn't as if there wasn't a second one that stood out like Mina.
However, he had singled out Mina, and he had done so during the time she was back undercover with Conrad City.
Aside from the fact that Mina and Conrad City have an unshared grudge, the biggest reason would be that Mina's personality and style resembles hers, right?
Wesley did not deny it, but only said vaguely, "Maybe ... there is this reason."
"..."
Yuna didn't feel very happy, but instead sighed.
If Mina is like her, is her road to a relationship going to be as rocky as hers?
If that was the case, Yuna would rather Mina be completely different from her.
But, thankfully, she ended up with Wesley.
So, what about Mina and Light's final?
Will it come to an end where Mina can only have a crush?
Could it be that Kai didn't even know about Mina liking him, and Mina's feelings just sank into the sea of stone and disappeared into the river of time, buried deep?
"No need to sigh." Wesley patted Yuna's head, "There's one thing about Mina that's unlike you she'll take the initiative to fight for what she wants, she won't wimp out."
"I ... you're the one who's egregious!" Yuna was about to start disliking him, but suddenly reacted that something was wrong, and looked at Wesley in surprise, "You can see it too, huh?"
Is it already so obvious that Mina likes Kai?
Wesley raised an eyebrow, "You're allowed to see it, but I'm not allowed to see it?"
"I'm just surprised-" Yuna looked incredulous, "You can actually tell! Then you say, will Kai also ..."
"No." Wesley doused Yuna's hope with a single sentence, "Kai has always felt that Mina is really looking at him in a bad light, and is out there every day figuring out how to come back so angry that Mina can't breathe."
"..." Yuna spat breathlessly, "Nerd!"
"Indeed." Wesley handed Yuna a fruit, "Not everyone is like me."
Younin Hsu,"..."
As Yuna was speechless, Kai and Mina happened to leave the hospital wing.
Although Mina's wound wasn't anything serious, she walked more or less unnaturally because of the gauze wrapping.
Light looked at Mina thoughtfully, wondering what he was searching for.
Mina soon got tired of being watched and stopped to glare angrily at Kai, "Have you seen enough? Have you never seen me before?"
"Of course I've seen you." Kai said thoughtfully, "But not you who looks so much like a koda duck." After that, a harrumph of derision erupted.
Mina lifted her injured foot and aimed it at Kai, winded down and kicked, "Koda duck your sister!"
What guy would say a girl looks like a koda duck?
Sure enough, treating people you don't like is different, isn't it?
The more Mina thought about it, the more she regretted it she should have come down a little harder earlier!
Light patted the footprints that Mina had left on him and "tsked" twice as he warned, "You look especially bullied right now, so I warn you not to mess with me, or I'll clean you up!"
"Ha-" Mina let out a kind laugh, "I'm only slightly injured and you think I'm a bully?"
"No matter what, your combat power is bound to drop ah." Kai looked bright and righteous, "However, I'm a good person, ah, forget about taking a kick from you, I won't take advantage of this time to bully you."
"Heh-" Mina laughed dryly, "You can try it, let's see how I clean you up!"
"Aigooooo...," Kai patted his scared chest and cooperated to make a good scared look, "Scared the hell out of me."
"..." Mina was a bit baffled for a moment what kind of setup was this for Light?
Kai nodded Mina's head, "Don't try to be brave if you're injured, be careful of losing your little life! Let's go, I'll send you back!"
"Don't ..."
Mina was subconsciously about to refuse, but halfway through her sentence, she suddenly recoiled, closing her voice just in time.
Kai looked at Mina good-naturedly, "Don't what? Finish your sentence if you can!"
"Don't want you to give it away for nothing!" Mina gave the address of the apartment she was renting, and pulled the door of Kai's car straight open and got in.
