Chapter 216 Your Cunning Tricks, I like Them!

After lunch, Joanne went back to her room and found that Brian's suitcase was beside her bed.

She said, "Gee, Simon said that he took the suitcase to your room, didn't he?"

"This is my room, isn't it?"

"... " "Ugh, it seems to be true."

"But," Brian smiled. "When will we move back to the master bedroom? Uh?"

Although the little bedroom of Joanne was cozy, it was crowded for two persons.

Moreover, they were the host and hostess of this house, so it was not suitable for them to always live in the secondary room. In addition to that, if Iris found it, all of what they did before would be exposed.

"... I don't like your room." Joanne showed her dislike directly. "The colors of the room are too cool, and the furniture is rigid and has no features. It seems like a model room. Living in it is like living in a hotel."

Although she challenged Brian's taste, Brian still thought the Little Monster was lovely even when she was picky.

Moreover, it could not be easier to solve this problem.

He said without thinking, "You can decorate the room as you like after moving back."

Joanne tilted her head to show suspicion. "You really will allow me to move the stuff in your room?"

Brian said calmly, "What I have is also yours!" There was a hint of temptation in his smile. "Shall we move to that room today?"

Joanne smiled brightly. "I will move when I am willing to!"

Brian did not know how he could persuade her-It was not easy to make the Little Monster take the bait.

He ordered, "Open the suitcase."

"Oh."

Joanne thought that what Brian asked her to do was to tidy up the luggage. So she opened the suitcase submissively, taking his clothes and daily necessities out and putting them away.

When she did those little things for him, she was always overwhelmed by an inexplicable sense of happiness. Because no one, except her, could be so close to him.

Sitting leisurely on the bed, Brian enjoyed this moment.

He liked to look at Joanne dealing with those trivial things carefully, even though she was not good at it.

The last thing in the suitcase was a little blue gift box with a white ribbon in the form of bowknot, which made her heart flipped.

The color of the box was a unique blue, Robin's egg blue, the patent of which was obtained by Tiffany in 1998. Joanne had already known the brand of the present without seeing the brand name under the ribbon.

It is said that there is no woman in the world that can refuse the gift box of Tiffany.

Joanne once thought that it was an exaggeration. But now, she realized that what they cared about was not how exquisite the box was, but who gave them.

Even though this gift box was not Robin's egg blue and not inscribed with "Tiffany& Co", and there was no soft ribbon on it, as long as you loved that person deeply, you would be joyful.

Joanne seemed to understand why Brian asked her to tidy up the luggage.

She took that magical blue box and waggled it to Brian. "Be honest! Who did you buy it for?"

There was a cunning smile on Brian's face. He was willing to continue this drama. "Don't touch it! I bought for my wife."

Joanne chuckled. What Brian had said just now was as sweet as honey for her.

But she started this drama, and she needed to bring it to an end.

Climbing onto the bed, she puckered her lips and complained in an upset tone. "It is not fair! I want the same present as hers! You have promised me that you would get divorced and marry me! Don't you forget it? Don't you forget it?"

Brian squinted. "It is impossible for me to divorce her!"

"..." Joanne paused. How could she continue this drama? To be more dramatic?

Brian rubbed Joanne's hair. "Let's end this drama. Open it and see if you like it."

Submissively unlacing the white ribbon, Joanne opened the box and saw a watch with a simple design. It was exquisite in a low profile. This watch immediately attracted Joanne.

Tiffany was famous for its jewelry. She thought that it might be a necklace before opening the box. It never occurred to her that the present was a watch.

"How did you know that I like watches?" She looked at Brian curiously.

Indeed, she much preferred watches to various jewelry. Brian once gave her a set of customized jewelry made of luxurious diamonds. But now, she only wore that diamond ring.

"But I have never mentioned to Brian that I don't like wearing jewelry. How did he know it?"

"I am your legal spouse. How could I even don't know what you like?" Brian took out the watch from the box. "Give me your hand."

Joanne gave him her hand submissively with a smile. After Brian put the watch on for her, she stared at Brian blankly. "But I don't know what you like..."

Brian frowned. "Really?"

Joanne nodded affirmatively. "Really. I don't know."

"Bang-" Joanne's forehead ached. Brian flicked her forehead again.

She rubbed her forehead and mumbled, "Even though you flicked my forehead, I still have no idea."

"Take it slow."

Then, Brian left the room. Lying on the bed, Joanne gently stroked the watch. "Except me, what else does Brian like?

"I remember that the only ornament he wears is a watch.

"But I can't afford the watch that he likes unless I use his money to pay for it."

When Joanne was thinking about what he likes, Brian had already gone downstairs. Winston walked from outside. "Young Master, I want to tell you something about Young Madam."

About Joanne?

Brian walked to the French windows. "What happened when I was away?"

"Young Madam has received flowers for many times in police station," said Winston, "I don't know who sent them. They look expensive, and the varieties of flowers are different every day. But Young Madam dumped all of those flowers into the trash can. It seems that she is bothered by the flowers, for she even got angry the day before yesterday."

"I see."

Brian frowned.

"I have only been away for several days, and the Little Monster is coveted by someone? How dare he?"

Brian recalled that he called her the day before yesterday. Her voice implied that there was something wrong with her. She said she had something to tell him. So was it about those flowers?

When Brian went back to the room, he found that Joanne was asleep on the bed. He resignedly tucked her in.

"Well, fine. I want to see when you will tell me."

At first, Joanne planned to find an appropriate opportunity to tell Brian after he came back. However, seeing Brian again made her too joyful to remember this thing.

Joanne did not awake until 4 p.m. When she woke up, the sun was setting. Brian was browsing through files on the sofa.

Looking at him from her angle, Brian's face was so stereoscopic and handsome. Even though he was just browsing through the files quietly, other people would still be enthralled by him and could not take their eyes off him.

She lay on the bed in a comfortable posture, staring at Brian. She was suddenly seized by a sense of security.

As long as he was with her, her world, even the whole world was settled.

A few minutes later, the phone suddenly rang, interrupting Joanne's gaze. It was from Freya.

She answered the phone. Freya told her seriously, "You may need to call me sister-in-law in the future."

It was after a few minutes that Joanne began to understand what Freya was talking about. She immediately asked for more details. Freya replied briefly, "Chris and I are dating!"

After hanging up the phone, Joanne rushed to Brian. She could not wait to share the good news with him.

Brian was very calm. It seemed that he had expected what would happen.

"You can't understand this kind of feeling." Joanne could not help teasing Brian. "You can't have experienced that happiness and excitement."

Putting down the files, Brian held Joanne into his arms. "Who told you that I have never experienced it?"

It was because he had experienced this kind of feelings when he got married with Joanne that he could be so calm now.

He had also foreseen that Chris could not wait till the end of the competition. Freya was so naughty. How could Chris leave Freya circulating among a group of men?

"Joanne." Brian suddenly thought about something and smiled. "In fact, there is a rule in our company that the new artists are forbidden to have a girlfriend or boyfriend."

Joanne paused and asked, "What do you mean?"

"You can threaten your brother with this rule." Brian smiled. "In fact, this rule is used to restrict artists, not models. Being in a relationship will not have much negative influence on model's career development. Since Freya may be your sister-in-law, I will not put her in an awkward situation. But you can threaten your brother. It must be interesting."

"Brian..." Joanne was excited secretly. "This trick is a little bit cunning, but... I like it!"

"In the past, Chris always liked to threaten me with Brian. Finally, I can revenge!"

Seeing Joanne become excited, Brian offered her another trick. "You can threaten him not to go public with their relationship."

He knew Chris well. "Now that he is dating with Freya, he must want to tell everyone in the world. If he is forbidden to go public with their relationship, Chris must be crazy."

"Hmm." Joanne smiled. "Good idea!"

She did not know how beautiful she was when she smiled. She puckered her lips which looked soft and attractive.

Gazing at her, Brian could do nothing but lower his head and kiss her lips.

The setting sun cast a glow through the French windows into the peaceful and warm room, painting it soft orange.

Just like this pair of people who loved each other deeply at this moment.
