Yuna tilted her head and stared at Wesley.
No one could deny that Wesley had an one-in-a-million good looking face, on which his manly and well defined features looked like having been carved by the sharpest knife, with a kind of coldness that could keep others at a thousand miles' length.
Deep within his black pupils, which looked both evil and righteous, was the most indescribable mystery in the world. It seemed that once she looked into his eyes, her heart would race.
Yuna took a deep breath to recover her normal breathing and heartbeat. "That day I said I would go to Mike's place to have my revenge. You told me not to act on my own. I thought... I thought that you wanted me to accept the disgrace as if I had apologized to Mike, so that you could continue cooperating with him. But in fact, you didn't have that intention, right?"
"I don't need to rely on a woman to facilitate my business." Wesley sneered with disdain and asked, "You said you have two questions for me. What about the second one?"
For the first time, Yuna didn't mind Wesley's mockery. She looked up into his eyes and asked, "Why did you avenge me?"
The one who used to pick on her the most was Wesley. When she was thrown into the lake by Mike's guys, he was supposed to stand by and do nothing with a good mood. Why did he avenge her, taking it on Mike's guys under the risk of breaking the cooperation?
Wesley slightly glanced sideways and looked right into Yuna's eyes. His deep eyes seemed to be absorbing her soul.
Before Yuna became absent-minded, she heard Wesley saying, "I remember that you said you like me."
It had been more than half a month. Yuna had tried her best to let it go, that he had rejected her declaration of love, and persuaded herself to calmly face Wesley. She thought he had forgotten about it, without expecting that he would easily reopen her old wounds!
All of a sudden, Yuna's face became as red as deep-fried chicken with chili pepper. She stared at Wesley and didn't know what to do. After a while, she gave him a glare and said, "A gentleman isn't supposed to talk about a lady's declaration of love after he rejects it! You're showing off and that's vulgar!"
"If a declaration deserves my showing off-" Wesley looked Yuna up and down, then he sneered and said, "You'll be the last one I want to boast of."
At that moment, Yuna wasn't dull anymore. She got Wesley's point at once-he had met many ladies that sent him a confession, and she was the least good-looking one!
"Don't be angry, don't be angry." Yuna repeatedly warned herself. "If I'm angry, Wesley, the bastard, will win!"
"If I'm the last one you want to boast of, why are you asking me about it?" Yuna rolled her eyes, then she turned to look out of the car and stared at the night sky. "You know, the disease of saying one thing and doing another may not be cured. Oh, by the way, a lack of politeness also needs to be cured!"
"Politeness?" Wesley thought.
Since he was a kid, Wesley had never cared about that. His occasional politeness had been aimed to make a profit.
He only cared about profit and victory.
"Yuna," Wesley said in a low voice. Every word of his remark appeared to be full of sincerity. "I can't give you love. But I can protect you from all the bullies, no matter if you're working for me or you're my girl."
"..."
Yuna felt herself as if having been struck by lightning; her mind being was instantly emptied as if a delete key had been pressed, leaving nothing left.
When she came to herself, the car stopped in front of the villa, and Wesley got out of it.
She followed Wesley all the way to the second floor and shouted toward his back, "Wesley, what did you mean?!"
Wesley slowly turned and said, "Wasn't I clear enough?"
Yuna shook her head. In fact, she couldn't believe what she had heard.
Wesley stared at her, without any tender feelings or kindness in his eyes, and said, "I was saying: now that you like me, I'll give you the chance to be... one of my girls."
"..." "One of?" Yuna thought.
She became bitterly disappointed at once, as if some freezing water was pouring down on a piece of hot iron. In a sizzle, all her ecstasy seemed like a joke.
"To be one of Wesley's girls. Humph! Damn! Why do I feel that he was just showing his pity for me by saying 'one of his girls'?" Yuna thought.
She was Yuna; in another dark world, she had a name that others would tremble with fear upon hearing it. "Why did he treat me like a nobody?"
What upset her the most was that she found it hard to refuse him.
Every day and each time she tried to forget Wesley, she failed; forgetting him had been a mission impossible for her.
What's more, there was little time left for her to stay with Wesley.
Yuna thought, "So, accepting my feelings for him should be Wesley's pity for me, right?"
"I should be grateful that I'm lucky to be his girl. I shouldn't be upset."
While in Wesley's eyes, Yuna's upset look implied her hesitation.
Before figuring out what he was afraid of, Wesley blurted, "You have one day to think it over."
He turned and walked toward his room to keep the annoyance in his eyes from Yuna.
He could come up with thousands of ways to torment Yuna. He could even intentionally hinder her from performing her mission and send her back to Rowdy, then she would be cruelly punished.
However, at that very moment, he chose to knock her socks off, which was the most stupid way. While the point was that Yuna hesitated!
With a "bang-" sound, Wesley slammed the door.
Accepting Yuna's feelings for him was the most irrational decision he had ever made, although he could say-he just wanted to take reprisals against her.
Yuna looked at the closed door, slowly clenching her fists.
Rowdy had officially begun to compete with Brian and Wesley. She would need to do more work, which meant that it would be easier for her to expose herself.
Although Wesley said she had one day to think it over, there were only a few days left for her.
Yuna squeezed her eyes shut for a while, then she determinedly walked toward Wesley's room and knocked at the door.
Wesley was about to change his clothes. He walked over to open the door only to find Yuna there. He stared at her and heard her speaking, "I'm ready now."
With her eyes downcast, she faltered. Her body language told him that she was nervous.
Wesley narrowed his eyes and looked down upon her head, as nervous as she was.
Yuna seemed to have gathered all her courage. She looked up and stood on tiptoe, then gripped Wesley's lips with her teeth.
That was a grip. She didn't know how to kiss and thought it was just the quick contact of two person's lips. Because of her injured leg, she couldn't hold on. A grip would make it hard for Wesley to push her away.
She had always surprised Wesley a lot; he couldn't deny that it was the biggest surprise Yuna had ever given him.
He parted Yuna's upper and bottom teeth with the tip of his tongue, then harbored her lips in his mouth to gently suck them and kissed her with deeper love.
In her own eyes, Yuna was worldly; however, she lacked kissing experience. As Wesley kissed her with ease, she began to feel helpless and dizzy. She only felt that the air around her became thinner and thinner. She couldn't figure out when she followed him into his room, nor when he circled her waist with his arms.
Realizing that Yuna was nearly out of breath, Wesley slowly released her. He stood before her, opening his arms to stop her between himself and the wall. "Did you tell me you're ready?"
Yuna was quite embarrassed. However, she thought, "The loser doesn't lose the array!"
She lifted her chin and said, "Yes, I'm ready to be your girl. Oh, I didn't mean to please you... Hey!" She looked at Wesley who was suddenly approaching her and asked, "What are you... doing?" As she breathed in Wesley's smell, she was about to be lost in it.
Wesley cupped her chin with his trim and lean fingers. "I said you can be my girl. Do you know what I implied?"
Although she didn't have sexual experience, Yuna wasn't as naive as a little girl. She had lived abroad for several years, so she wasn't a conservative person. She frankly asked, "Are you going to sleep with me?"
Wesley had thought that he could calmly face her. However, the moment Yuna said those words, he felt his blood boil.
He managed to hold back his impulse, turning his lips into a smile and said, "Well said."
The next second, he lifted Yuna's chin and kissed her.
She was frank; if he flinched, Yuna would make fun of him about it every day.
"Why don't I tease to scare her?" Wesley thought.
Yuna caught her breath, without expecting that he would cover her lips with his again. As a result, she almost choked on her own breath.
She tried to resist, but found that Wesley wasn't teasing.
As Wesley's palm touched her skin, her pores began to tremble. Although her sense of reason told her to push him away, he was so skilled at fondling her body that her sense of reason and her strength were quickly depleted.
Gradually, Yuna lost control of her body and movements. She followed the voice from deep within her mind, and fell into a vortex with Wesley.
Wesley had intended to scare Yuna. As long as he wanted to make her stay, she would still be with him for a long time; he had never expected to lose his self-control at that moment.
When he touched her, however, everything began to get out of hand.
In Glasgow, he had pushed away the girl who was provisionally taken into the lift. In Arlington, he had driven Cindy away twice; while on the second time, he had intentionally lost his temper when Cindy spilled the coffee on him.
He had never doubted his self-control until that moment, at which he knew he should let go of Yuna but failed.
Maybe he wasn't the sort of person who had strong self-restraint; he hadn't met the one who could get him out of control.
"Mr. Mu..."
Yuna was like a deer lost in a forest that was filled with mist. Her words were full of confusion and fright. Hearing her trembling voice, he took pity on her.
However, the more delicate she looked, the more fiercely Wesley's blood boiled, which roused his monster-like inner desire. He carried Yuna, who was too relaxed to gather her strength, and laid her down on the bed...
He thought, "Now that I can't control myself, and she will be my girl one day. What's the difference between today and the future?"
That night was like a storm that had arrived without warning; Yuna floated up and down in a strange world.
She thought, "From now on, each minute when I'm with Wesley will be my secret happiness."
It was like a dream; even if she woke up from it one day, she would never regret it.
