Chapter 432 Didn't You Feel It? (1)

As soon as they entered the room, Yuna took off Wesley's coat and saw the horrifying blood on the shirt over his chest.

"Lie down!"

She helped Wesley onto the bed and cut his shirt off. As she had feared, he had split his wound open, in which the burst flesh looked like a monster's mouth that was spitting out blood without a stop.

Yuna was afraid that-Wesley might die.

Kai placed a medical kit beside the bed and said, "Yuna, you can dress his wound. It's all here."

Yuna had trained to deal with minor wounds. However, Wesley's wound wasn't that easy to deal with because he had split it open twice. If it wasn't properly dealt with, he would run a fever or even die, so she had no assurance of success.

She shook her head and said, "Kai, we'd better call a doctor."

Wesley grasped Yuna's hand, speaking to her in a feeble and irresistible voice. "You can do it."

Yuna subconsciously shook her head and said, "Wesley, I can't..."

She was worried that she would hurt Wesley due to her inexperience, just as a doctor would refuse to operate on his family members.

Wesley grasped Yuna's hand with more strength and said, "Zhao Yinghong won't give up easily. His men must be watching outside. To him, calling the doctor indicates that I'm injured. And all that you've done will be in vain."

He slowly turned his gaze to Yuna's face and said, "I trust you."

Those words seemed magical, and all of a sudden, Yuna's confidence was restored.

Yuna gritted her teeth while putting on the medical gloves. Then she carefully dressed the wound step by step...

She found that once started, the process wasn't as difficult as she had thought.

In order to stay awake, Wesley requested to reduce the dose of anesthesia, so he was conscious throughout the process.

As a result, he felt the pain in his wound and saw the cautious look on Yuna's face.

It seemed that she was facing an unprecedented challenge. She pursed her lips to concentrate her mind, and her movements were swift and gentle. Before long, her forehead began to sweat.

"Kai, dry my sweat, please," Yuna said as she continued her work, while her voice sounded more than calm.

Kai gasped in admiration and took a towel to wipe the sweat from her forehead.

40 minutes later, Yuna finished stitching then cut the thread. Then she suddenly felt a sense of collapse, sitting by the bed without a word for a long while, as if she had been seriously injured.

In contrast, the real injured one, Wesley, was much more conscious. He said to Kai, "Take those away."

Kai cleaned up the medical kit, then he anxiously looked at the weak Yuna and said, "Yuna, you..."

Wesley interrupted him in a cold voice. "She's OK."

Kai replied, "Oh," and left with the medical kit in hand.

After some time, Yuna came to her senses. She gave Wesley a feeble look and asked, "When will we leave here?"

Wesley checked the time and said, "We've been here for less than 60 minutes. I'm virile. Don't you know?"

Yuna became stunned, feeling embarrassed. Then she said, "I know you are not virile."

However, she didn't dare to say more and rushed into the bathroom, then she took off the gloves and flushed them down.

In her eyes, all the evidence of Wesley's injury should be disposed of.

After that, she went out of the bathroom and saw Wesley's eyes shut. She thought he was asleep and walked gingerly to the sofa to sit down, while Wesley suddenly said, "Call your grandma and tell her that you can't go home for a few days."

With the magazine in her hand unopened, Yuna asked, "Why?"

"Because you're going to stay at my house," Wesley said.

Yuna became quite confused and asked, "What for?"

Wesley gave Yuna a glance at leisure and said naturally, "You're going to take care of me."

"But I'm bad at that." Yuna leaned back on the sofa, flipping through the magazine and said, "You'd better hire a nurse."

If she went to the Old House of the Hayes Family to take care of Wesley, she would have the chance to stay alone with him, which she had long dreamed of.

However, Yuna's sense of reason told her that she was unable to take care of Wesley, and because of his injury, she shouldn't be selfish.

"Zhao Yinghong will sniff it out one day. Then he will know everything." Wesley said, "Aside from you, he will suspect anyone that visits my house."

"Oh?" Yuna felt awkward and asked, "So, are you saying that I can't refuse?"

Wesley smiled and said, "Right. You can't refuse."

"Damn you!" she thought.

Yuna angrily flipped through the magazine, cursing Wesley in her mind.

After a while, Yuna finished flipping through the magazine and threw it away. Then she looked at the bed and found Wesley's eyes closed with his chest undulating; he was asleep.

She walked over to the bed and drew the covers over him. Only then did she notice his pale face and lips. His breathing was steady and weak, and he did not look as fierce as he used to.

Anyway, she liked the way Wesley looked at that moment. He looked pale, just lying there in peace, no longer out of her reach.

After staring at Wesley greedily for three hours, Yuna woke him up.

One of the things Wesley hated the most was to have his sleep interrupted. He glared at Yuna, but she shrugged and said, "It's been three hours. If we don't leave, Zhao Yinghong will smell something fishy."

Wesley threw the clean clothes that Kai had brought at Yuna and said, "Dress me."

The clothes flew over and covered Yuna's head. Feeling enslaved, Yuna pulled at the clothes and shouted, "What an injured man!"

Wesley gave Yuna a proud look that meant,"I'm honored".

Yuna had to do as he asked and unbuttoned Wesley's shirt.

With a pair of flat heels, she looked nearly a head shorter than Wesley when she stood in front of him. Slightly looking down, Wesley saw her cute forehead and crimson cherry-like lips.

As she inadvertently touched his skin with her fair-skinned bright lean fingers, which were soft, he felt a sense of electric shock.

Wesley gradually lost control of his breathing with a familiar desire surging within his body. He frowned and said, "Hurry up."

Yuna had been worried that she might touch Wesley's wound, without expecting to hear his shout. Then she got rid of her worries and tore up Wesley's shirt to dress him in clean clothes.

After that, the two left the room together.

In the elevator, Wesley put his arm around Yuna's waist with deep love, but she was not used to that. As she was about to struggle, he held her more tightly and whispered, "Stay still, or you will have to stitch my wound again."

Then Yuna realized that they still had to act in order to deceive Zhao Yinghong, so she did as he asked. Outside the elevator, she feigned a charming smile while immersing her upper body in Wesley's arms. It seemed that the two had been closely bound together and could never part from each other.

She chuckled behind her palm and said, "Look at me. Others will mistake me. Mr. Mu, how will you thank me?"

Wesley kissed Yuna's temple and said, "You'll find out when I get better."

"Damn! What made you say those off-color words when you just had your wound stitched?!" she thought.

Yuna was thinking of kicking Wesley away. However, she had to smile tenderly and feign a bashful look on her face while patting him on the chest. "Oh, honey!"

She was highly sensitive to others' eyes and binoculars. As soon as they got out of the hotel, she sensed that someone was staring at her and she whispered to Wesley, "11 o'clock."

"I see him. It's Zhao Yinghong's man." With that, Wesley opened the door of his car while fondling Yuna's black hair and gently said, "Let's go."

His sudden gentleness touched Yuna's heart lightly, which was as if her heart had stopped beating in a flash. After a long while, she came to her senses and then sat in the passenger seat.

She had heard that the gentleness of men was more powerful than that of women. She thought, "Sure enough."

Wesley started the car, then the black Land Rover moved at an appropriate speed on the road. When they were out of Zhao Yinghong's sight, Yuna said, "Let me take over."

Considering his wound, Wesley knew that he shouldn't drive anymore, so he pulled over and changed seats with Yuna.

Yuna drove directly toward the Old House of the Hayes Family.

Hearing a sound, Aunt Helen ran out of the house and said, "Are you all right?"

"Yes." Wesley motioned for Aunt Helen to be at ease and then looked at Yuna. "She will stay here for a few days. Get her a room."

Realizing that Aunt Helen was looking at her with curiosity, Yuna said, "Aunt Helen, I'm staying here to help you look after him. There's nothing more between us!"

However, the last sentence had just given herself away.

Aunt Helen smiled and said, "OK. I got it." After thinking for a while, she said, "How about the one next to his room? It will be convenient!"

Yuna looked at Aunt Helen's back and asked in confusion, "Aunt Helen has mistaken us, right?"

Wesley tapped on the handrail with his fingertips and said, "Has she?" With that, he went upstairs.

Sure enough, Aunt Helen didn't mistake them because they did have a relationship.

It took a while for Yuna to get Wesley's point, and she shot a glare at his back.

Then, she suddenly realized that everything between her and Wesley was like the way it used to be. She didn't mention the crisis in Mexico, nor did he, as if it had never happened.

Well, that was what she had long looked forward to.

"By the way, is it a tacit understanding between me and Wesley?" she thought.
