Chapter 443 Go Pack and Come With Me

Wesley had taken care of everything related with Granny Wallace's transferring in less than two hours.

Two hours later, the old lady was transferred from the ordinary single-person ward to the luxury suite of a private hospital. Everything was available, from kitchen to living room. And the furniture was clean and of warm colors...

If it weren't for the faint smell of disinfectant, Granny Wallace wouldn't even believe that it was a ward.

Kai was a sweet guy, and addressed Granny Wallace in a very natural way, "Granny, you can rest well in this place. Brother Wesley has informed the Director here, so you have nothing to worry about, especially the admission fee. Those little rats caused all the trouble and scared you. This is all on them."

Granny Wallace smiled and looked at Wesley. "Mr. Mu, thank you so much for your troubles."

Yuna continued where her grandmother left off, "Brother Wesley, I am so sorry that I've taken up so much of your time. I can handle the rest. It's okay that you go."

Wesley took a deep look at Yuna; his eyes were full of danger and warning. Yuna shrugged, and the subtext was clear,"I am not intimidated by you!"

Yuna was indeed not intimidated. The more dangerous the situation was, the more she could keep calm.

Wesley narrowed his eyes, said goodbye to Granny Wallace, and then left with Kai.

Yuna couldn't wait to close the door, and her fearless look suddenly became heavy.

If time went back to a few hours before, she would have definitely refrained from asking Kai those questions.

That way, she wouldn't know that her identity might have been exposed, and she could continue to stay beside Wesley without a care in the world until she had to leave.

But... perhaps God didn't want her to be happy.

Yuna walked back to the ward slowly and was scolded by her grandmother, "Yuna, you were rude. After all, Mr. Mu is your boss."

"He's a boss, but not a good one!" Yuna was indignant. "Otherwise, he wouldn't cover for Wang Yi!"

Granny Wallace was the one who knew Yuna best. She patted Yuna's hand and said in a heavy but relieved tone, "Yuna, forget it."

Yuna was stunned and looked at her grandmother in shock. "Grandma, you knew that?"

"Of course I know what happened yesterday was not a joke. If it really was a joke, he must hate my guts to joke like that." Granny Wallace smiled. "But since Mr. Mu wanted to have this problem solved, I had make this go away. Having Mr. Mu owing me a favor is definitely, trust me, advantageous and harmless. Yuna, I believe that he will take good care of you in the future."

"..." Yuna forcibly held back the tears that were about to burst out.

Grandma suffered all the blame just so she could have a 'free pass of death'.

However, once her real identity was revealed, she could have ten passes, and Wesley would still not let her go.

In the evening, Yuna received a call from Rowdy. She answered perfunctorily, looking tired and absent-minded.

Not long after, Rowdy's voice showed dissatisfaction. "Yuna, what's wrong with you?"

"My grandmother is in the hospital," Yuna said in a low voice, "If you have any missions, ask somebody else to do it. I am not feeling well and it's likely that I would fail."

After a moment of silence, Rowdy only said, "Take care of your grandmother." Then, he hung up the phone.

Yuna was relieved.

At that time, if Rowdy assigned some tasks to her and if she made a move, her identity would soon be revealed and Wesley would not wait for another minute to hunt her down.

At least, rejecting Rowdy would make Wesley think that she was still useful and she could buy herself some time.

That's right, she had no intention to tell Rowdy about the fact that her identity might have been exposed.

According to Rowdy's style, if such a good chess piece went wrong, he would definitely use up every bit of her value. If she could be saved, he would save her. But if she couldn't, then he would just leave it.

It was alright for Rowdy to be selfish. Then, why couldn't she be selfish for once?

From that moment on, her life really was in her hands.

In the next few days, Yuna didn't leave the hospital and didn't care about what happened outside.

Maybe it was because of Wesley's order, no one had gone to see Yuna and ask her to deal with anything. She took care of her grandmother in the hospital wholeheartedly, and only went out for a stroll when Granny Wallace was asleep.

Every other day, Kai sent over some fruits baskets in which the fruit was barely repeated. He said that they were imported fruits specially sent by Wesley.

"Yuna, you just take care of Grandma," Kai said, "I will take care of the other things."

Yuna knew how tired it was to deal with things alone, and she was very grateful to Kai. She couldn't help but ask him, "Kai, have you ever been deceived by your most trusted person?"

Kai thought for a moment and shook his head. "No. Although things around me are simple, and there are various kinds of people in my life. But I have never been cheated nor betrayed. I've only seen the most loyal people!" He couldn't help laughing while saying, "Unbelievable, right? I think all the people I know are nice and lovely, including Brother Wesley!"

Yuna saw the simplicity deep in Kai's heart, beneath the surface of his toughness. She smiled bitterly and said, "What would you do if one day, you find that a person you trust has betrayed you?"

Kai thought about it seriously for a long time, but he couldn't come up with an answer. Finally, he said, "I don't believe this would happen."

...

Yuna silently said "I'm sorry" to Kai in her heart.

She would soon add some scars to his innocence.

Ten days later, Granny Wallace's body gradually recovered, and her condition was better than before. After giving her a detailed examination, her attending doctor discharged her.

When she left the hospital and returned home, it was already past two o'clock in the afternoon. Yuna lay in bed exhausted; she thought there was no reason for her to ditch work the following day.

After hiding for so long, it was time for her to go back and face Wesley.

The next day, Yuna got up from bed early, unprecedentedly. After breakfast, she was about to go out when she suddenly heard a familiar braking sound.

She was confused. Not long after, the doorbell rang.

Opening the door, as expected, it was Wesley.

His tall and well-built body stood at the door, wearing a sophisticated yet casual suit. Every move of his was domineering and indescribably elegant. It was extremely eye-catching.

Yuna's willpower was still strong. She wasn't seduced by his manliness. She asked warily, "What are you doing here?"

Wesley said, "Go pack and come with me."

The more casual he was, the more alert Yuna became. "Where are we going?"

"Why all the questions?" Wesley frowned discontentedly, "Just go pack!"

At that time, Granny Wallace had just exited the room and saw Wesley at a glance. She greeted him and turned to scSimon Yuna, "Mr. Mu came all the way here. Why didn't you invite him in?"

"He doesn't need it!" After that, Yuna was about to close the door.

Wesley easily blocked the door and raised the corner of his mouth. "Grandma, it's okay. I am just here to pick her up."

Granny Wallace walked over and asked, "Where are you going?"

"We are having a trip for about a week," Wesley said, "Kai will come over and take care of you in the next few days."

"Wesley!" Yuna was furious. "I didn't say I would go."

"You!" Granny Wallace patted Yuna. "Mr. Mu is your boss. It's your duty to fulfil his orders. How can you refuse? Besides, you've been taking care of me in the hospital during this period of time. You must be exhausted. Go pack up and go with Mr. Mu. Take it as leisure traveling."

"Grandma, I don't want to go. You've just been discharged from the hospital. How can I leave you alone at home?"

In fact, Yuna was afraid. She was afraid that once she went, she would be unable to return, ever.

"What are you worrying about? Auntie Sun and Kai are here!" Granny Wallace smiled kindly. She, then, asked Auntie Sun to pack for Yuna and patted Yuna on the shoulder. "Okay, don't worry. Go ahead."

Aunt Sun was very fast. After a while, she brought forth Yuna's suitcase. Yuna seriously suspected that she was in the same team as Wesley.

Before leaving, Yuna hugged her grandmother and said, "I'll come back as soon as possible."

"Don't worry," Granny Wallace whispered in Yuna's ear with a smile, "This is a chance for you to spend time alone with Mr. Mu. Why all the rush? Have fun. I don't want you coming back. I want the good news that you two got together!"

Yuna,"..."

An hour later, Yuna reluctantly followed Wesley to the airport.

The luggage was specially checked for them. They took the VIP channel to board the plane. After they got on the private plane, they could enjoy the fresh fruit drinks, which were part of the highest-level treatment.

But Yuna was not happy.

The last time she got on the plane, she was almost sent to Rowdy by Wesley.

That time when she left with Wesley, she always felt that something would happen, but she couldn't explain it.

Wesley looked at his watch and reminded Yuna, "It will take a few hours to fly. You can sleep."

Yuna turned her head and stared at Wesley. "Where are you taking me?"

She was somewhat anxious. Since her identity was possibly exposed, it meant that Wesley could do anything to her; she had to be on guard.

"What are you worried about?" Wesley asked with a smile, "Are you afraid that I would make a move on you?"

Yuna clearly knew about what Wesley's would do. She smiled and said, "I would rather you make a move on me."

At least it was a one-time thing. What she was afraid of was that Wesley would torture her in another way and make her suffer.

It turned out that Yuna thought too much. Wesley took her on a vacation.

A few hours later, the plane landed on an island. Yuna had never heard of that island, and the software couldn't locate its exact location. She concluded that it was a private island and it had been transformed into a holiday resort. She couldn't help but exclaim, ""Wesley, you're really rich, aren't you?"

"The island isn't mine." Wesley pointed to the front. "Brian's."

Yuna looked in the direction of Wesley's fingers and saw Brian and Joanne, whom she had not seen for a while.
