Kai was so shocked that he didn't notice Yuna's absorbed in her machinations at all.

Many years later when Kai recalled the conversation with Yuna, he only felt a deep regret.

If he had known and trusted Yuna more, if he had observed her more carefully, he would have noticed that Yuna was just pretending in front of him.

If he had understood that Yuna was just pretending, what happened next... wouldn't have been so horrible.

Walking to the end of the porch, Kai pushed open the door of the last room and said gravely, Yuna, you can stay here for now."

Yuna tipped her head and looked inside. Although it was only a small room, it was clean and tidy. It wasn't exquisite, but it had the basic equipment.

In the past, to smoothly fulfil the task she was assigned to, she had faced more horrible living conditions which she could live through. So the "prison" in front of her eyes was acceptable.

On the contrary, Kai felt quite uneasy about the place.

Yuna said in a relaxed tone on purpose, "Kai, it would seem by your expression that you are the one who's being locked here."

"Yuna..." Kai failed to put up a smile. He stopped for a minute and added carefully, "Don't do anything stupid or harmful to yourself."

Yuna was amazed by his words, then she smiled.

She would have had plenty of things to do then, which were planning to run, finding Rowdy in Arlington and avenging her grandma...

The only thing she wouldn't do was to act stupidly. She couldn't afford the time.

Yuna patted on Kai's shoulder and gave him a look to reassure him. "Don't worry. I don't want to commit suicide now. Besides, Committing suicide is the act of a coward. Do you think I would do that?"

Kai bit his lips and barely made up a smile to go with Yuna's relaxed tone. "Anyway, you have to keep in mind that you will only be staying here temporarily. Brother Wesley... he won't really hurt you. I will also help you!"

Wesley?

Only thinking of those two words stiffened the smile by Yuna's lips.

How could Kai think that Wesley wouldn't hurt her... Maybe Kai had overestimated her too much. For Wesley, she was really not that important.

Besides, she had already caused a scene. Even if Wesley wanted to leave her alive, she would force Wesley to hurt her for the plan.

Kai might be disappointed soon.

Thinking about it, Yuna changed the subject and said "Thank you" to Kai. Then she reminded him, "It's time for you to go back and report." At last, she voluntarily walked into the room and closed the door.

Kai locked the door with a grim face and trapped Yuna inside. After thinking for a while, he unlocked Yuna's handcuffs through the small window. Before he left, he was still worried and said to Yuna, "Yuna, I will come to see you every day!"

Yuna smiled and waved her hand to Kai, which meant she was asking him to leave.

Kai still felt something was wrong so he wasn't reassured. He kept turning his head on his way out. It should have been a road which would only take him half a minute, but he spent a whole minute getting in the elevator and going upstairs.

After Kai's figure was out of her sight, Yuna closed the window immediately. She glanced through the whole room without any movements and found no camera.

But knowing Wesley, there had to be hidden cameras in the room. Every move of hers was surely being recorded.

Therefore, even if she wanted to do something, it couldn't be too obvious.

Thinking about it, Yuna lay in bed, rolled herself into a ball and kept still.

Her gesture now must seem extremely desperate when transmitted to the terminal through the camera.

That was her exact intention. She wanted Wesley and Kai to believe that she didn't want to live anymore.

Thus, Wesley lower his guard toward her, which would be an advantage for her to escape.

As for the reason why she didn't make Kai help her escape...

She didn't want to drag Kai into her trouble.

Currently, she was alone in the world. There was nobody worrying about her nor anyone she cared for. Even if she failed this time, she would die in Wesley's hands at most.

The world would go on as usual without her. Nothing special would happen.

But Kai was different. His father had a close connection with the Hayes Family and he was greatly trusted by Wesley. He had a bright future and a promising career. He would have a happy life.

Once he helped her, Kai would lose Wesley and the other brothers' trust. Everything he had would be ruined by her.

Her grandma had died because of her. She couldn't get anyone else into trouble.

So she told Kai that she wanted to die. Even if Kai wanted to save her, he couldn't do anything about it. Who could save a man when the person had lost the desire to live?

As for whether Kai believed in her words... It depended on how well she performed.

It turned out that Yuna's performance was marvelous. Kai completely believed in her words.

After having left the underground second floor, Kai hurriedly went to find Wesley. He was in a rush to tell Wesley that Yuna wanted to die so he could plead for his sympathy.

But Wesley was neither in the office, nor in the apartment. His phone was also out of reach.

At last, a brother told Kai that Wesley had driven away after leaving the club. He didn't seem well. He didn't tell anyone where he was going and nobody dared to ask.

Kai thought for a second and seemed to have understood something. He sighed. "Forget it. I'll find him tomorrow."

That night, no one would be able to find him unless Wesley himself wanted to show up.

Yuna's impact on Wesley was larger than anyone could imagine.

Almost at the same time Kai left the club, Wesley arrived in another club in Glasgow.

Although Wesley hadn't been there for a long time, all the staff in the club knew him. Seeing his unkind expression, they greeted him carefully, "Brother Wesley, both Molly and Vivan are here. Who do you want to...?"

Wesley narrowed his eyes and said, "Either is okay." Then, he walked directly into the elevator and went upstairs.

Yuna, if he let her go, let her go back to Rowdy, will she miss him? Or...

"Brother Wesley, what are you thinking about?" Molly walked up to him. Her tender and slim hands quietly touched his waist, "You shouldn't think about other things at the moment."

"..." Wesley's eyes turned dark. It wasn't because of Molly, but he was thinking about something else-he wanted to release Yuna.

Yuna confessed in front of so many people that she was a spy sent by Rowdy. If he let her go, it was a clear announcement to the whole world that a spy was tolerable for him.

If so, how could he be trusted by his brothers after that?

Wesley held Molly's face and looked carefully.

She had big eyes, a delicate nose, red soft lips and a tender contour... It was a face made according to a beauty standard which could be called as perfect. It was so much prettier than Yuna's face.

Aunt Helen had always told him that it was easy to go from bad to good. He gave up Yuna who was just normal to enjoy such a beauty. It wouldn't take him too much time, right?

"Brother Wesley." Molly thought it was the right time so she tiptoed and tried to get closer to Wesley. She smelled so fragrant. "I really missed you a lot."

Wesley lowered his head. Molly was delighted. She cutely lifted her head and slightly opened her lips with full expectation.

That was the reaction men liked, while Yuna only knew how to resist.

Wesley's breath was sprayed on Molly's nose. Though it was warm, it was at a normal rhythm. When Yuna got close to him, it was different; it would only take him a second to get it disordered.

But could say that this sanity was not a good thing?

When Wesley's lips were about to land on Molly's lips, Yuna's face simply showed up in his mind. It was harmless but had a shocking impact on him. He suddenly left the woman who was in his arms.

"Brother Wesley?" Molly held Wesley and her hands kept moving around his body, trying to arouse his interest. She said in a caring tone, "What's wrong? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"

"Brother Wesley, let me tell you a secret." Molly caught Wesley's collar and smiled. "I majored in nursing. During my internship, I was a nurse for a whole year."

Wesley frowned and was suddenly disgusted by that kind of flirting. "Get out."

Molly didn't understand his meaning clearly. Wesley waved his hand. She stepped backwards and it took her a few steps to stand stably. Then she tenderly said with uncertainty, "Brother Wesley...?" Her voice sounded nervous and delicate.

Pitifully, the thing Wesley was most unfamiliar with in all his entire life was to care for a girl. He narrowed his eyes and shouted, "Fuck off!"

There seemed to be two furious lions in his two eyes. His eyes looked so grim that they could swallow everything. Molly felt the grimness and took up her heels to run out of the room without considering her appearance.

However, the fact that Molly left didn't make him feel any better. He crashed the expensive lamp on the table. Looking at the glass residue, he couldn't get Yuna's face out of his mind...

Yuna. Those two words, that woman, trapping him so tightly as if it were magic.

In the past, Wesley had thought there was nothing irreplaceable, especially women. A woman who approached him for some purpose like Yuna could be ditched or dealt with. It would only take an order.

Now he knew he was so wrong.

There was only one Yuna in this world. He only liked this Yuna.

No one could replace her. There was no second Yuna.

But, he couldn't let Yuna live...
