Chapter 738 Good-looking People Are Always in the Right

Gavin made way for Noah sullenly and looked at Wendy reach out her hand to Noah.

Noah's hands were white and clean, thin and slender, with well-proportioned knuckles. They were more elegant and charming than the hands of a pianist.

He held Wendy's arm with one hand and gently pressed the areas around her wound with the other hand. "Does it hurt here?"

Wendy glanced at Noah and smiled shyly. She shook her head and said, "It doesn't hurt at all."

His slender fingers moved closer to Wendy's wound and pressed it. "What about here?"

Wendy couldn't laugh anymore. She said with a bitter look, "It hurts a little."

"Okay." Noah seemed to have finally found a satisfactory answer, and then he pressed her wound abruptly.

This time, before Noah asked, Wendy directly called out, "Ah! It hurts! Gavin!"

She could be obsessed with Noah's gentle and handsome appearance, but at the critical moment, she subconsciously called out Gavin's name.

Gavin didn't notice it at all. Instead, when he heard Wendy's cry of pain, his face suddenly sank, as if he was going to skin Noah alive.

Wesley reached out his hand in time and stopped Gavin. "How can the wound not hurt?"

"Okay." Noah let go of Wendy and solemnly apologized to her, "Miss Moore, I have to do this so that I can know your situation better. I'm sorry."

There were two sorts of apologies in the world.

One was just a superficial one, and the other was a sincere one.

Noah's apology definitely belonged to the latter. He looked very gentle and sincere, and his gentle voice was as comfortable as the spring breeze. Wendy had already forgiven him in her heart before the pain in her hand receded.

"It doesn't matter." Wendy smiled brightly and added, "I'm also a doctor. I can understand."

Before Noah could say anything, Gavin asked impatiently, "Is there anything else?"

"Not now." Noah said, "I'm going back to Glasgow to get something. I'll contact you after I'm back. At that time, Miss Moore can be discharged from the hospital."

Gavin acted as if he didn't hear the latter half of Noah's words. He went straight to open the door and said, "Since it's over, just leave, please. Bye."

Noah could more or less feel that Gavin didn't welcome him, but he just smiled and left the ward alone, openly and benignly. Wesley didn't stay any longer and left with him.

After the door was closed, Gavin and Wendy were left alone in the ward.

Wendy looked at Gavin speechlessly and complained, "You just told me that I was too old to be impolite."

Gavin raised his eyebrows. "You're just an older child at most, so you certainly have to be polite. I'm a real adult. I don't need to be."

"Hey, do you mean-" Wendy paused and continued to say, "that you're presuming on your seniority?"

"Knock!"

Gavin bent his fingers and knocked on Wendy's head hard. He narrowed his eyes and said, "I haven't settled accounts with you yet. Why did you first complain about me?"

Wendy looked at Gavin innocently. "I didn't do anything wrong. Why are you settling accounts with me?"

So, she didnt even know what she had done?

Gavin's face darkened, and he asked in a low voice, "Is Noah really good-looking?"

"Yeah!" Wendy's eyes lit up. "Don't you think Dr. Sanchez has a good temperament? He is not as scary as Boss Hayes, and his temperament is very comfortable and pleasant!"

Gavin was left speechless.

"Pleasant? Good temperament?"

She had said that she liked him, but now she was praising another man in front of him?

Gavin felt a spurt of indescribable flame instantly burning in his heart. The flame could burst out at any time and burn up everything here.

Seeing that Gavin was about to explode, Wendy smiled and asked innocently, "Are you jealous?"

Gavin narrowed his eyes. The answer was self-evident.

Wendy raised her left hand, gently held Gavin's shoulder, and lightly kissed him on the lips.

Gavin had thought that Wendy would apologize to him in a soft voice and tell him not to be angry.

Nevertheless, the little girl said with a smile,

"It's right to be angry and jealous! I was angrier than you when you appeared in front of me, holding Blake's hand. But I still had to pretend as if nothing had happened. I was having a more difficult time than you!"

Gavin stared at Wendy with a dangerous look. "So, you did it on purpose?"

She made a gesture with half of her fingers. "Its half of the reason."

Gavin sneered and asked, "What about the other half?"

"The other half is because I really think Dr. Sanchez is so handsome! He... Uhhh..."

Before Wendy could finish her words, her mouth had been completely blocked by Gavin's lips.

This time, gentleness and attachment were insignificant in Gavin's eyes.

His kiss was like a hurricane, madly sweeping across Wendy's lips. It blew into her small mouth aggressively, crazily sucking and squeezing everything out of her.

Wendy didn't expect that she had carried her joke too far. There was no chance for her to explain. Under Gavin's crazy kiss, she had gradually lost her ability to defend and lay on the bed.

Gavin kissed Wendy out of control. He didn't know whether he was angry or if something inside him had been woken up.

He only knew that he didn't want to let go of Wendy easily.

Avoiding the wound on Wendy's body, he also lay down and pressed himself on her and continued to deepen the kiss that seemed to reach their souls.

Wendy grabbed Gavin's clothes. She felt that not only the air in her lungs was about to be drained, but also her ability to think seemed to have disappeared. All she could think about was Gavin.

Except for Gavin, she did not care about anything else.

"Wendy..."

Gavin's voice was hoarse and low as if it had been crushed by something. It was not as romantic and unrestrained as usual. Instead, it was a little sexy and carried a kind of indescribable desire.

Wendy vaguely realized something but found that she seemed to have lost her voice, so she couldn't respond in words.

With a little experience, she could only respond to his passionate kiss with a tight hug. She hoped to tell him, in this way, that she was willing.

As long as it was Gavin, she was willing to do anything.

Seeing that she didn't resist, Gavin's last bit of reason was almost set alight and burned into another kind of flame in his body.

Fortunately, at the last moment, the remaining sanity hit him hard and woke him up from his indulgence.

He let go of Wendy, who was gasping. A trace of charming blush appeared on her cheeks. Her almond-shaped eyes were covered with a layer of mist, which made people want to bully her hard.

He suddenly felt sorry for her.

Why didn't she resist? Why didn't she protect herself? Why did she blindly cater to him?

He slowly calmed down, kissed her lips, and said in a reluctantly normal voice, "Noah is a doctor. He will always just be a doctor who can help you recover. Remember?"

At this time, Wendy didn't have any idea at all. She would do whatever Gavin said. She nodded in a daze and called him, "Gavin."

Gavin looked at her gently and intently. "Hmm?"

"I..." Wendy was suddenly at a loss for words. She could not express the wonderful feeling in her heart at this moment. She could only stare at Gavin's lips and said, "I want you to kiss me."

The girl in a daze, with swollen lips, just said in a sweet and soft voice that she wanted his kiss.

Gavin suddenly understood what the skip of heartbeat was.

It was as if the sun had suddenly shone into the bottom of his heart. A flower was slowly blooming, and everything was just right. This kind of feeling was so beautiful that it made him feel intoxicated.

If possible, he wanted to get drunk.

He lowered his head, kissed Wendy's lips for a moment and then reluctantly left. "Okay, you take a shower."

If he didnt stop, Gavin was afraid that he would lose control of himself.

Once he lost control of himself, he didn't dare to imagine how things would develop...

Wendy replied with an oh with satisfaction and stretched out her hand to motion for Gavin to carry her into the bathroom.

This night was both calm and turbulent.

The next morning, Dr. Zhang came to see Wendy and learned that she was going to be discharged from the hospital.

He was very surprised. "Noah? I haven't heard of this doctor. So many of us can't do anything about your injury, but he dares to say that he can help you? Special Assistant Gavin, Miss Moore, you'd better think about it carefully."

Dr. Zhang was an academic doctor. Wendy understood why he tried to persuade her.

But she was willing to gamble.

Wendy smiled and said, "Dr. Zhang, I'm willing to believe in him."

Dr. Zhang didnt persuade her anymore. He reminded her, "After youre discharged from the hospital, if your condition doesn't get better, remember to come back and continue to receive further treatment. Maybe there is still hope."

Wendy nodded and said, "Thank you for your help these days."

"It's what I should do." Dr. Zhang smiled. "Miss Moore, keeping this optimistic attitude is also helpful for your recovery."

"Okay." Wendy agreed lightly. "I'll keep it!"

Just after Dr. Zhang left, Gavin asked gloomily, "Do you believe in Noah?"

Wendy had only seen Noah once. Did she trust Noah unconditionally because Noah just said that he might be able to help her?

Instead of answering him, Wendy was so smart that she asked Gavin, "Don't you believe him? Then why did you agree to let him treat me?"

"I believe in Wesley." Gavin raised his eyebrows and did not hide his jealousy. "Why do you believe Noah?"

Gavins jealous look was a guilty pleasure for Wendy. She said with a smile, "Dr. Sanchez is handsome! Haven't you heard that good-looking persons are always in the right?"

Gavin narrowed his eyes, and there was a hint of danger at the bottom of his eyes, waiting to burst out and destroy the world.

Wendy hurriedly pretended to surrender. "Wait a minute! Wait a minute!"

Gavin hurled two cold words to Wendy. "Say it!"

This was his last chance for Wendy. If she didn't explain it clearly, he wouldn't let go of this girl today.

Wendy said, "In fact, it's because I have some feelings for Dr. Sanchez!"

In an instant, Gavin's face darkened. He glared at Wendy with a threatening look and said, "What feelings?"
