At Gavin's apartment complex-
Noah had moved to the apartment just downstairs of Gavin's and officially began to treat Wendy.
That was supposed to be a good thing until Gavin found out that the treatment involved physical contact with Wendy.
What really angered him was that Wendy was obviously looking forward to this.
Wendy's obsession with Noah had being increasing.
After two days passed, Gavin finally said that Noah could only treat Wendy when he was there.
Wendy asked in confusion, "Why?"
Gavin explained righteously, "We don't know much about Noah. I worry whenever you're alone with him. What if he is a dangerous person?"
Wendy blinked and said, "But you clearly said it before, although you don't know Noah well, you trust Boss Hayes. Now you're saying that you don't trust Boss Hayes?"
Gavin knew Wendy all too well, so he knew she was setting a trap for him.
He narrowed his eyes and knocked hard on Wendy's head. "Noah is different from Wesley. We're talking about Noah. Don't get Wesley involved!"
Wendy said "oh" obediently, and her attention was diverted. "By the way, how are Boss Hayes and Yuna doing?"
"I'm not sure," Gavin said, "but Wesley said that he didn't intend to let Yuna go."
"That's great!" Wendy cheered excitedly. "As long as she stays, Yuna will definitely fall in love with Boss Hayes and forget about wanting to escape!"
The girl with a broken hand showed her unusual logic again. Gavin asked in confusion, "You think that Yuna will fall in love with Wesley if she stays here? Why?"
"Boss Hayes is very attractive!" Wendy said with a reasonable look, "Any girl would fall in love with Boss Hayes after staying with him for a long time!"
Gavin gave Wendy a threatening look. "What about you?"
Wendy cleverly evaded the question and said, "You should ask yourself first whether you'll give me a chance to stay with Boss Hayes for a long time."
Gavin kissed Wendy's lips with resignation. "You've passed this test. You are not allowed to fawn over Wesley in the future. Also, avoid being alone with Noah," said Gavin seriously.
Wendy held her chin leisurely. "What are you afraid of? Or, are you admitting that Dr. Sanchez is very charming and poses a threat?"
Gavin bit Wendy's lips and said, "I'm afraid that your will is not strong enough."
The doorbell rung Before Wendy could say anything.
Gavin released Wendy and went to open the door; it was Noah who was standing outside, medicine in hand.
He didn't intend to let Noah in. He stood in front of the door like a Buddha and asked, "Wendy's medicine?"
"Yes," Noah said, "You must have her finish it all."
"I see," Gavin took the tray and said, "Thank you. Bye."
After that, Gavin closed the door with his foot, not caring whether it was polite to do it. He took the medicine back to the living room and asked Wendy to drink it.
Wendy had grown up in place with a western medical environment. Being the first time she saw that black liquid medicine, she curiously took a sip and cried the next second.
Gavin asked hurriedly, "What's wrong?"
"It's too bitter," Wendy stuck out her tongue and said frustratedly, "You drink it. I won't."
It was also the first time for Gavin to see that kind of medicine. He also took a sip and soon creased his eyebrows.
It tasted weird and bitter. He couldn't accept it, let alone Wendy.
However, Noah emphasized that Wendy had to finish it.
Gavin rummaged through the snacks that Freya had bought the day Wendy was discharged from the hospital. He found a bottle of prunes, unwrapped it, and placed it in front of Wendy. He coaxed her, "Eat this first, and you won't feel bitter when you take medicine."
Wendy did it skeptically. It turned out that the prunes' sweet and sour flavor was not enough to cover up the medicine's bitterness.
She begged with a crying face, "Can I add some sugar? If not, can I add some milk?"
Although he knew that he shouldn't, Gavin still couldn't help laughing. "It's not coffee. Good girl, your hand can only get better if you drink this. Don't you want to take the scalpel again?"
Wendy admitted that Gavin's sentence had stepped on her soft spot.
She took the medicinal bowl, closed her eyes, and drank the black liquid regardless of anything. She frowned even more with every sip. Her face had almost been squeezed into a ball when the porcelain bowl had finally been emptied.
Gavin breathed a sigh of relief and took the empty bowl. He kissed her lips before she could cry.
Wendy just was about to do so, but the familiar smell filled her nose before she could make a sound. She could even feel that Gavin was prying her teeth open, and the tip of his tongue was deftly going in...
She had just taken the medicine, and her mouth... was full of bitterness!
Wendy responded with a "hmm" and tried her best to resist Gavin's kiss. However, he didn't care about it; he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her even deeper.
Being the case, Wendy no longer resisted. She closed her eyes and clumsily responded to Gavin's kiss.
Gavin let go of Wendy after an unknown period of time. He frowned slightly, but the corners of his lips were raised. He complained in a soft voice, "It's really bitter."
Wendy smiled as if it had nothing to do with her. "I tried to resist, you know?"
Gavin held her hand and said, "Fortunately, you are sweet."
Wendy looked at his eyes, and there was a burst of sweet warmth in her heart.
Fortunately, she kept pestering him, forcing him to tell her what was on his mind.
Otherwise, she would feel worse than dead when looking at Gavin say those flirtatious words to other girls.
Wendy was quite satisfied, but she didn't intend to let Gavin go so easily.
She grabbed his collar and asked, "Are you sure?"
Gavin stared at her lips and whispered, "I'll confirm once again."
He went for Wendy's lips again as soon as he finished speaking...
Yuna was planning to escape while they were immersed in that bout of sweetness.
The reason why she had the courage for it was very simple-Wesley had not been back for two days.
Wesley had left the villa since that noon, and he didn't handcuff her. He had been gone for two days.
Yuna was anxious at first, but then relaxed completely. Finally, she realized that this was a good chance to escape.
As the saying goes, the shortest answer is taking action.
That night, Yuna pretended to sleep until early in the morning. She got up in the middle of the night and jumped out of the window. She easily appeared in the garden without disturbing the servant.
She would occasionally go down and walk around in the past two days. She had already figured out the working schedule of that small group of people.
The six of them were divided into three groups. Each group was responsible for eight hours, every day. The shift changes were at eight o'clock in the morning, four o'clock in the afternoon, and 12 o'clock at midnight.
It was then the hour for them to change shifts, and the villa's defenses were at their weakest.
As she thought of this, Yuna became bolder and moved in the direction of the gate while observing the movements around her.
She was about to reach the gate. She would be able to escape as long as she climbed over the gate. However, she suddenly noticed something when she looked back.
Ah, she had seen it clearly just then. There should be nothing in front of her!
"How did he show up all of a sudden?"
The familiar smell entered Yuna's nose as she wondered. She looked up with shock. It really was Wesley.
He looked more like an Asura from hell while covered by the night. His eyes were integrated with the pervading darkness, as if they contained a powerful force that could devour everything at any time.
Yuna froze, not knowing whether to cry or laugh.
Not too soon, not too late, Wesley came back exactly when she was about to escape.
Her luck was too bad!
She had no choice but to say hello to Wesley with a smile, "Brother Wesley."
Yuna had rarely called him Brother Wesley after being detained by Wesley for such a long time; her tone revealed her guilty conscience.
Wesley looked at her with a cold look and asked, "Where are you going?"
"I'm not going anywhere." Yuna pointed to the sky. "The night is so beautiful; I just came down for a walk."
Wesley sneered and said, "At this time... why not go back to sleep? Why would you come down for a walk?"
"I slept too much during the day, so I'm not sleepy." Yuna sensed the danger and stepped back.
Wesley would of course not buy such an excuse, and the smile on his lips became colder.
Obviously, Yuna was about to escape.
She clearly didn't expect him to return at that time.
In fact, Wesley wasn't planning on doing so. Yuna could have escaped.
Unfortunately, Kai had suddenly called him and said that Rowdy had found his foothold and was planning to take Yuna back.
He knew that Rowdy would take some time to act, but he was still worried, so he put aside his work and returned.
He had never thought he would get to see Yuna jumping down from the window as soon as he entered the house.
She indeed had a tacit understanding with Rowdy.
At the thought of this, Wesley was quickly overwhelmed by an earth-shattering anger.
He squinted his sharp, eagle eyes, picked Yuna up, carried her on his shoulder and took her back to the villa.
Yuna felt the threat of death and patted Wesley on his back. "Let me go!"
She struggled even more fiercely as they were about to enter and struck her head on the door frame. However, Wesley ignored this and took her straight to the second floor. He threw her on the bed and pressed her down with his body.
Wesley was really angry. "Hiss-" He violently tore off Yuna's clothes and left traces on her body regardless of anything.
Yuna felt dizzy, as if a bomb had exploded in her head. It hurt a lot. She had no strength to struggle at all and could only plead, "Wesley, let me go."
Wesley just willfully played with her body as if he didn't hear anything.
Only in the most primitive way could Yuna know that she belonged to him.
After one orgasm, Wesley finally found that Yuna's face was as pale as paper, and her breathing was too weak, as if it would stop at any time.
He warned her in a cold voice, "Yuna, don't think that I'll let you go when you pretend to be like this."
Yuna had a splitting headache. She couldn't help crying while holding her head.
She was not pretending. She didn't do it last time. She didn't do it this time, either.
When would Wesley trust her?
Wesley's expression gradually changed as he looking at Yuna's pained look.
Yuna was really feeling bad.
"But how?
"Wasn't she always lively and energetic?"
