In the old house of the Kent family.
Yuna sat on the stairs while eating a sandwich and looking at the messy hall.
More than 20 years ago, the Kent family was regarded as a distinguished family in Arlington. Rowdy's father had collected a lot of antiques through various means.
And now, most of the antiques in the living room had been smashed into pieces by Rowdy.
But Rowdy had the reason to fly into a rage.
This time, he had been confident in the plot against Gavin. Brian and Wesley really had no idea to fight back, but in the end, he was defeated by the truth that there was no blood relationship between Gavin and Wendy!
He had put in a lot of effort to do this but suffered a big smack in his face.
Yuna was a little surprised and was not quite sure what was going on.
However, she was happy to see such an ending.
One of his men came in with fear and reported to Rowdy, "Brother Rowdy, we've checked it out. The documents of Dolly and Conor's adoption are real. Wendy... is indeed not Dolly's biological daughter. There's no problem with her being with Gavin."
Rowdy threw away another antique vase. "What the hell is going on? How could Wendy not be Dolly's daughter!?"
His man took a step back and said with fear, "More than 20 years ago, Conor, who is Dolly's husband, caused a serious car accident. Wendy was the female baby who survived the accident. Conor adopted her."
"Why did Conor adopt a female baby who survived the car accident?"
Rowdy ordered coldly, "Find out the cause and effect of the car accident, as well as whether Conor adopted Wendy for any other reason!"
"Yes, Sir!"
The man escaped from the old house like a gust of wind, as if they had been granted amnesty.
All Rowdy's men knew that when Rowdy was angry, staying with him would only lead to death-Rowdy might vent his anger on anyone else at any time.
Yuna was the only exception.
It would be always safe for Yuna to stay with Rowdy.
Seeing that Rowdy's anger was almost gone, Yuna wiped the crumbs from the corner of her mouth, walked down, and said,
"Car accidents tend to happen accidentally. What's the use of finding out the cause and effect of an accident? It will not make Gavin and Wendy become siblings."
Rowdy said with a meaningful smile, "There are some car accidents which were designed to happen."
Seventeen years ago, Brian's father's car accident was not a real accident. It had just been designed to be an accident.
It occurred to him that the man who had been sent to prison in his place had been cast out of prison last year.
But he had been unable to find the man.
However, according to the information he had received Brian could not find that man, either. Therefore, he could rest assured for the time being.
Yuna didn't know what had happened to Brian's father, so she didn't understand the implied meaning in Rowdy's words.
She walked up to Rowdy and tried to persuade him, "Don't waste your efforts."
Rowdy stubbornly and decisively refused. "Even if it's useless, I have to know the real story."
He had planned it well, but it was unexpectedly reversed. At least he had to know what he had ignored.
Yuna knew that it was useless to persuade him, so she chose to shut up, but she couldn't hide the smile on her face at all.
Rowdy stared at Yuna and asked, "Are you very happy?"
Yuna shrugged and said, "As Wendy's friend, I'm certainly happy that Wendy is staying with Gavin."
Rowdy's eyes became gloomy. "But, my plan failed. Don't forget, you are following me."
"When you planned to carry out this plan, I told you not to do that, but you were unwilling to listen to me." Wendy said helplessly, "Now, I can't do anything about it."
Rowdy didn't know whether he was angry or not. He abruptly grabbed Yuna's hand, took her to the second floor, pushed her into the room, and locked the door.
Yuna's expression suddenly changed. She looked at Rowdy warily and asked, "What are you going to do?"
"I want you." Rowdy's eyes unknowingly darkened, emitting a signal full of aggressiveness and danger.
Yuna's face suddenly turned pale. She kept stepping back and refused in a trembling voice. "Rowdy, don't do that to me."
Rowdy pounded hard on the wardrobe behind Yuna. He gritted his teeth and asked, "If Wesley can, why can't I?"
Yuna calmed down and said with a sneer, "Are you going to force me like Wesley?"
"No, I'm not." Rowdy approached Yuna while saying in a suggestive manner, "Yuna, I won't hurt you like Wesley. You have been following me and asking me to take care of you..."
Rowdy's breathing became heavier and heavier. He loosened his grip on Yuna and gradually approached her.
Yuna forced herself to stay calm. When Rowdy's lips were only three centimeters away from hers, she fiercely pushed him away.
Rowdy looked at Yuna in confusion. "Why would you refuse me?"
Yuna hugged herself, trembling and shrinking into the corner. "Don't touch me. You're the same as Wesley. Don't touch me!"
Yuna seemed as if she was going to break down.
She knew that only in this way could she interrupt some of Rowdy's thoughts.
Rowdy stared at Yuna, and sure enough, he was misled.
He suddenly realized that Wesley might have been forcing Yuna. The most intimate contact with her had never brought joy to Yuna, but torture.
He squatted down and caressed Yuna's face with pity. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done this."
Yuna warned Rowdy with red eyes, "If you do this again, I will leave here."
"I won't force you anymore." Rowdy made a promise, and at the same time, he also made a request. "But you have to promise me that you will try to accept me, and you can't always reject me."
Yuna stared at Rowdy and asked in confusion, "What do you mean?"
Rowdy was also not quite sure what was going on. He looked at Yuna blankly and said, "Yuna, I..."
"Bang bang!"
There were sharp knocks on the door, interrupting Rowdy's words.
Rowdy looked back, stared at the door, and roared, "Who is it?"
"Brother Rowdy!" The voice which was heard was very calm. It was Kim, Rowdy's trusted follower. "Emily!"
Emily was the nickname of Rowdy's son.
Rowdy got up, rushed over, and opened the door. "What's wrong with Emily?"
Kim saw that Yuna was indeed in Rowdy's room. He was stunned for half a second, then he came to his senses and said, "Emily is back!"
Hearing the last sentence, Yuna was the one who reacted more violently.
Yuna suddenly rushed to Kim ahead of Rowdy, "Did you say that Emily is back?"
Like Yuna, Emily's mother was from Glasgow. Unfortunately, she was kidnapped and killed soon after she gave birth to Emily.
That's the case. Staying with Rowdy was greatly dangerous.
He was probably afraid that his son would also encounter the same disaster, so he was strictly confidential about his son and rarely went to visit his son in the United States. On the contrary, Yuna would visit him from time to time and had a deep relationship with little Emily
"Yes, Emily is back alone." Kim took a careful look at Yuna, then he lowered his eyes and said in a low voice, "He's in the hall downstairs now."
Yuna rushed downstairs. Kim looked at her back and thought of another person far away in Glasgow. His eyes were gradually filled with obscureness and anger...
When they got downstairs, Yuna saw a little boy carrying a small, dark green bag on his back.
The little boy wore a black hat, a sweater, casual pants, and a pair of white sneakers. He held a black and white striped baseball suit in his hand.
"Emily!"
Upon hearing Yuna call him, and the little boy turned around.
Emily took after his mother more, with a Roman nose, long eyelashes, thin lips, and tender skin as white as milk, which made him look like a cute baby.
Seeing Yuna, the little boy also got extremely happy. Immediately, he couldn't keep standing steadily and calmly. He threw himself into Yuna's arms and said, "Auntie Yuna, I missed you so much."
The little boy said in a childish and tender tone, melting Yuna's heart. She touched his head and said, "I missed you too."
The little boy's long eyelashes fluttered a few times and asked, "Then why don't you come to see me?"
Yuna squatted down and looked at the little boy face to face. She was about to explain when Rowdy's voice came.
"Emily!"
The stern and cold voice startled Yuna, not to mention Emily, who was only four years old.
Emily suddenly straightened his back and looked at Rowdy timidly. "Daddy."
Rowdy walked over and looked at his son gloomily. "How did you come back?"
Emily kept leaning toward Yuna and whispered, "I came back by plane."
Rowdy frowned. "How could you buy the ticket?"
Then, Emily became puzzled. He took out the ticket from his backpack and handed it to Rowdy. "I bought it at the airport."
Rowdy looked at the ticket. "How did you know I was here?"
Even if it was his son, Rowdy could not imagine how a four-year-old child could fly back to the Americalone from New York and return to the old house successfully.
Emily blinked his eyes and said, "Dad, have you forgotten? You told me the address here and also told me that this is our home."
Rowdy thought it over and vaguely remembered that he had indeed told his son the address of the old house.
However, Emily was less than three years old then.
He actually remembered the address so clearly and found the place.
Yuna glanced at Rowdy and said, "Enough. Emily is less than four years old. Stop asking him those meaningless questions. Why don't you care if he was in danger on the way back?" Then she touched Emily's head and asked, "Did you take a taxi back from the airport?"
Emily was obviously much more relaxed when he was talking to Yuna. He nodded hard twice and said, "I told the address to the taxi driver and asked him to send me here. In addition, I asked him not to sell me to others! It's a pity that I don't have dollars. I could only give him pounds. But when I got out of the car, I apologized to the driver!"
Yuna asked in confusion, "How many dollars did you pay the driver?"
Emily opened his two tender white hands and said, "A thousand!"
Yuna was wordless.
