Chapter 809 Yuna, I Regret It (2)

Wesley looked at Yuna with deep and burning eyes. "If I wanted to kill you, Yuna, how could you escape from Glasgow?"

When they came back from the island at that time, Granny Wallace had passed away. Yuna did not even see her grandmother for the last time.

Yuna completely collapsed. She ran to the clubhouse and told Wesley in front of everyone that she had been working undercover for Rowdy.

Wesley could not tolerate deception and betrayal most.

Yuna revealed that she had offended two don'ts of Wesley.

As everyone had expected, Wesley decided to kill Yuna.

But in fact, Wesley gave Yuna many ways out.

Instead of dealing with Yuna immediately, he locked her in the underground secret room and let her contact Kai.

When he was going to kill Yuna, Wesley asked Kai to do it.

Kai was Wesley's most trusted subordinate. He had always dealt with this kind of thing efficiently and never made any mistakes.

So everyone thought that Wesley was determined to kill Yuna.

However, only Wesley knew that Yuna had a good relationship with Kai in private. Kai was reluctant to kill Yuna, so he would definitely give Yuna a chance to escape.

Sure enough, Kai did not let him down. He really let Yuna go.

Later, he sent some people to chase after her, but it was just a show.

He knew that it was impossible for them to catch up with Yuna. She would soon be taken away by Rowdy's men.

Yuna's pupils contracted sharply.

It turned out that her successful escape from Glasgow depended entirely on Wesley.

It turned out that Wesley did not want to kill her at all.

However, there was one thing she could not figure out.

"Wesley, since you don't want to kill me, why did you spend so much effort to imprison me so that Kai hovered between your order and my life? Is that interesting?"

Wesley raised the corner of his mouth and said with a hint of self-mockery in his tone, "I spent so much effort just to make Rowdy believe in you."

Yuna was stunned, and her eyes could not help turning red.

It turned out that Wesley had long guessed that after leaving Glasgow, she could only go back to Arlington to find Rowdy.

If she left Wesley unscathed, Rowdy would definitely doubt her.

But if Wesley created an illusion that she had narrowly escaped from death, after returning to Rowdy, Rowdy would at least not be too suspicious of her.

"Wesley, why did you help me?"

Yuna really did not understand.

She had clearly lied to Wesley and insisted that he was the one who killed her grandmother. Why did Wesley still care about her?

Wesley stared at Yuna and said slowly, "I want you to be alive.

"..."

Wesley added, "After finding out that you worked for Rowdy, I wanted to kill you several times, but I couldn't do it. I thought it might be because you were Joanne's friend."

"Later, I wanted to send you away to any other people. Anyway, my purpose was to destroy you. But in the end, I still took you away.

"Yuna, I even thought that if you hadn't worked for Rowdy, maybe I could forgive you. But soon, I found that I was wrong again."

Soon, Wesley found that even if Yuna worked for Rowdy, he could still forgive her.

He did not know when he started to set no bottom line for Yuna.

However, Yuna exposed that she had been working undercover in front of so many people and firmly believed that he was the murderer of Granny Wallace. Finally, he was disheartened, but he was still reluctant to kill her. He even helped her go back to Rowdy.

If it weren't for Yuna, Wesley would not even have known that he could be so soft-hearted.

The rims of Yuna's eyes were hot and her heart was sore. She wanted to throw herself into Wesley's arms and tell him everything.

However, when she thought of Rowdy's means of killing her grandmother, she could only hold back her tears and forced a sarcastic smile. "So, thanks to you, I can survive until now. Wesley, thank you."

Wesley did not want to talk nonsense with Yuna anymore. He grabbed her hand and said, "Go back with me."

As long as Yuna cooperated with him, taking her away would be much more likely to be successful.

Yuna shook her head. "I don't agree. You can't take me away."

Wesley squinted. "Yuna, why?"

"Because I'm not willing!" Yuna said word by word, "Wesley, even if you let me go, you are still my enemy. How can I go with the person who killed my grandma?"

Wesley did not get angry. Instead, he looked at Yuna carefully.

His eyes were cold and sharp. For some reason, Yuna was flustered, but she had to keep calm. She could not let Wesley see through her.

Wesley sneered and said, "Yuna, do you really believe that I am the one who killed Granny Wallace?"

Yuna's expression changed slightly.

"Why did Wesley ask that? What did he find out?"

After panicking for half a second, Yuna forced herself to calm down. She was about to speak when there was a knock on the door, followed by a man's voice. "Brother Wesley, Rowdy is downstairs."

Yuna fiercely pushed Wesley away and said, "Just give up. I won't go with you. As for you, it's time to go."

Wesley looked at Yuna stubbornly and said, "Answer my question!"

According to his tone, it seemed that he would not give up until he got an answer.

Yuna took a deep breath and asked sarcastically, "Wesley, if you are not the one who killed my grandma... who is it?"

Wesley's eyebrows were gradually covered with a touch of coldness, and he almost strangled Yuna's neck.

He had already tSimon Yuna that he had never thought of killing her. Why was she still unwilling to tell the truth?

Or, Joanne had guessed wrong, and he was also wrong?

Rowdy was just downstairs, so Wesley could not continue the topic.

Otherwise, if Rowdy heard them and he would not be able to take Yuna away today, after returning to the residence of the Kent family, Yuna would be in danger.

As for the truth, he had a lot of ways to let Yuna say it in the future.

Wesley changed the topic. "You know that I'm repairing a memory card, don't you?"

"Yes," Yuna said teasingly. "We couldn't ignore the news that Brother Wesley released deliberately."

Wesley said with a sneer, "I can tell you that the card is a clue left by Wendy's parents. It's on me. You know best where I will put it."

Was he revealing the news to her?

Why? Wesley should keep the information about the memory card a secret, shouldn't he?

Before Yuna could come up with an answer, the door of the ward was kicked open, and Rowdy strode in with a gloomy face. "Wesley!"

Wesley pulled Yuna to himself and firmly wrapped his long arm around her waist. He looked at Rowdy calmly. "What's the matter?"

"Let go of Yuna!"

Rowdy shouted and suddenly pulled out his gun, aiming it at Wesley.

Yuna was stunned and was subconsciously eager to stand before Wesley.

Fortunately, she calmed down in time and restrained that stupid idea.

She had told Rowdy more than once that Wesley was her enemy.

Once she stood out to protect Wesley with her body, all her previous efforts would be in vain.

Fortunately, Wesley's men reacted quickly. In the next second, they pulled out their guns and aimed them at Rowdy's head, shouting, "Rowdy, put down your gun!"

The two groups of people in the corridor were also confronting each other. The atmosphere was like a taut string, and danger was on the verge.

Emily looked at Yuna in confusion, and then at Rowdy. "Wow-" He burst into tears, holding the leg of the young man who was aiming his gun at Rowdy. "Sir, please don't hurt my daddy."

The man did not even take a look at Emily, and the muzzle was still aimed at Rowdy.

Emily cried even harder, and his tender face was covered with tears.

"Emily."

Yuna felt distressed. She wanted to hug Emily, but Wesley's arms around her waist like a cast iron. She could not get rid of him at all.

"Auntie Yuna..." Emily cried, and he wanted to look for Yuna, but he was afraid that Rowdy would get hurt. He held the leg of the strange man tightly, and the more he cried, the more desperate he became.

Yuna glanced at everyone here and said, "This is a hospital. If the standoff between you continues, someone will call the police soon. Put down the guns!"

Wesley's men shouted, "Tell Rowdy to put down his gun first!"

Rowdy stared at Wesley. "You let go of Yuna first!"

Yuna struggled. Unexpectedly, Wesley let go of her.

She had no time to think about it carefully. She grabbed Rowdy's gun, picked up Emily, and wiped away the tears on the little boy's face. "It's okay. Don't cry. They are just playing games."

"No, they're fighting." Emily threw himself into Yuna's arms and asked in tears, "Auntie Yuna, why do adults like fighting?"

Yuna did not know how to explain. She stroked Emily's head and inadvertently looked in Wesley's eyes, only to find that Wesley was staring at her.

Wesley was very surprised to find that Yuna could also be "gentle", but just before that little guy.

No matter how cute the little boy was, he could not like him.

However, it seemed to be time for him to consider having a few children in the future.

How many children they would have... depended on Yuna's mood?

"Wesley, no matter what you came here for, leave now!" Rowdy stared at Wesley gloomily. "You don't want us to have a fight here, do you?"

Wesley did not answer, but looked at Yuna.

While holding Emily in her arms, Yuna nimbly hid behind Rowdy to avoid Wesley's gaze.

She felt as if she had been seen through by Wesley. She did not know how to face him.

Seeing Yuna's action, Wesley's face suddenly darkened.

Since she liked to hide behind Rowdy so much, he would make her unable to stay with Rowdy anymore!

Wesley walked out. When he passed by Yuna, he stopped and gave her a meaningful look. "Don't forget what I told you."

When he walked out of the ward, sure enough, Rowdy followed him out.

"Wesley," Rowdy shouted at Wesley. "What did you say to Yuna?"

Wesley looked back and asked coldly, "Why don't you go back and ask her?"

"What on earth did you came for?" Rowdy stared at Wesley gloomily. "Do you want to take Yuna away? Ha, Yuna can't be willing to do that!"

Wesley laughed and said, "If I really want to take her away, it doesn't matter whether she is willing or not."

The implication was that in terms of taking Yuna away, it was not Yuna's opinion but his will that mattered.

"Wesley, don't be too arrogant." Rowdy emphasized word by word, "I won't give you any chance."

"It's "It's too late." Wesley said with determination, "Rowdy, since you sent her to me, she has been already mine."
