Chapter 837 Yuna, Do You Want to Marry Me?

As soon as she returned to her room, Yuna collapsed on the bed.

She had experienced so many onsets of her symptoms. Just now, when she vaguely felt that her eyes were sore, she knew that she should not stay downstairs anymore.

As soon as she went back to the room, she was overwhelmed by pain and flung herself on the bed.

The whole world blurred before her eyes.

The professor had told her that her symptoms would occur more and more frequently, which was a sign that she should have surgery immediately.

But she had never thought that the symptoms would occur so frequently in just a few days.

No wonder that monster was able to devour an unborn life...

After lying in bed for more than half an hour, Yuna finally could see clearly everything before her eyes. She managed to sit up and looked into the mirror. Her face was a little pale.

She went into the bathroom and splashed her face with warm water. After stroking her face for a while, the unhealthy paleness on her face finally disappeared.

In this way, Wesley would not see anything wrong.

Yuna dried her face and went downstairs. She found that she was thinking too much.

Not to mention noticing her pale face, Wesley didn't even look at her. He and Emily focused all their attention on the large-size LCD screen in the living room. He was holding the game equipment in his hands and competing with Emily.

Obviously, Emily was having a good time. While controlling the character in the game, he shouted, "Out of my way. Or I will be very slow!"

"As long as I don't violate the rules, I can stand in your way." Wesley provoked a four-year-old child. "If you have the ability, you can also stand in my way."

Emily snorted defiantly and swiftly operated his game equipment, but he couldn't surpass Wesley in any way.

After all, he was still young, and his idea of winning and losing was very straightforward and strong. He only knew that he was unwilling to lose to Wesley, but the game time was about to end.

In a panic, Emily bit Wesley's hand and said, "You deliberately stood in my way!"

Wesley looked at the bite on his wrist and asked, "Did you bite me deliberately?"

"Yep!" Emily stuck out his chest as if he was saying, "I'm a man, and I'm not afraid of you. So what?"

Wesley put down the game equipment and slowly rolled up his sleeves.

Emily stared at Wesley innocently, not knowing what Wesley was going to do. It was not until Wesley looked at him that he realized the danger.

"Wow!" Emily screamed. "Mr. Mu is going to become a monster. Run!"

However, in front of Wesley, he could not run away.

Wesley reached out to grab Emily, dragged him back to the sofa, and tickled him. "What did I become?"

"Haha..." Emily pushed Wesley, while avoiding his "attack". But he laughed so hard that he soon lost his strength. In the end, he collapsed on the sofa and allowed Wesley to tickle him. He could only keep laughing as if the little guy who had cried in the morning was not him.

Yuna walked down and coughed loudly.

When Wesley saw Yuna, he finally stopped tickling Emily and picked him up from the sofa.

Yuna asked Emily, "Have you forgiven Mr. Mu?"

Emily tilted his head and nodded. "Yes! Mr, Mu is very powerful, so I can completely forgive him! And I know he didn't do it on purpose."

Wesley was very satisfied with the answer. He looked at Yuna proudly, but Yuna turned her head and did not look at him.

She then asked Emily, "And then?"

Yuna knew Emily better than anyone else. Since the little guy said so, there must be an unexpected turn Wesley could not imagine.

Sure enough-

"But-" Emily gazed at Yuna and then seriously emphasized, "I still won't leave you to Mr. Mu. When I grow up, I can be as powerful as Mr. Mu and protect you."

Yuna smiled and looked at Wesley slowly. "Did you hear that?"

Wesley grabbed Emily and looked into his eyes. "Do you mean that you want to compete fairly with me?"

Emily nodded. "Yes!"

"Very good." Wesley let go of him, turned his head, and whispered in Yuna's ear, "It doesn't matter. I'll win soon."

Soon?

Yuna found herself unable to figure out the meaning of the word and looked puzzled.

Wesley said, "After lunch, I have something to tell you."

Yuna replied. "Oh, I'll wait."

What Wesley was about to tell her was something that could make him win, right?

She was very curious about Wesley's methods.

After lunch, Emily yawned and said that he was sleepy. He grabbed Yuna's clothes and asked her to sleep with him upstairs. Seeing that Wesley didn't intend to interfere, Yuna took Emily upstairs.

Wesley did not stop them.

Anyway, he would give the little guy a big blow soon. Allowing Yuna to take a nap with him could be considered as compensation for the little guy.

He just hoped that time would go faster.

Yuna was not sleepy. After coaxing Emily to fall asleep, she came down from the second floor and saw Wesley sitting on the sofa and reading a magazine.

She walked over and sat down opposite Wesley. "What are you going to tell me?"

Wesley put down the magazine. After musing a short while, he looked at Yuna solemnly and said, "Let's get married."

Before meeting Yuna, Wesley had never thought that he would say that to someone.

Now, he said it in front of Yuna. Inevitably, it was a little bit awkward, and the proposal even sounded like an order.

Yuna seemed to be shocked by something and froze on the sofa. She gazed at Wesley in a daze and couldn't react at all.

Yuna finally came to her senses after what seemed like half a century and asked, "Wesley, are you serious?"

Wesley narrowed his eyes and emphasized word by word. "No man would take this sentence as a joke!"

So, he was serious.

Wesley stared at Yuna with burning eyes, which suddenly scorched Yuna's heart.

Yuna tried her best to restrain her voice from trembling. "Why do you want to marry me?"

"..." Wesley's eyes were scorching. "Brian married Joanne because of love. Chris married Freya because of love. I want to marry you because of love, too."

Yuna suddenly clenched her fists and subconsciously avoided Wesley's gaze. "Wesley, let's talk about it later..."

She did not agree, which meant that she refused.

Wesley walked up to Yuna and stared at her intensely. "Why?"

Being overwhelmed by the strong aura on him, Yuna lowered her head and found it inexplicably difficult to breathe.

"Don't make me." She could not tell the truth...

Wesley was impatient. He lifted Yuna's chin and forced her to look into his eyes. "Speak!"

Maybe because he was not used to being refused, Wesley's face was scarily gloomy, as if he could start a slaughter at any time.

Yuna swallowed and took a long time to make a sound. She said, "Give me a few days to think about it. I'll give you an answer later."

"What do you need to think about?" Wesley's voice was cold. "Yuna, have you ever thought about the child? Do you want to raise the child out of wedlock?"

The child...

Yuna clenched her fists tighter. She looked at Wesley and begged. "Wesley, give me a few days..."

"A week." Wesley said coldly, "I'll go back to Glasgow in a week. Even if you don't want to, you have to go back with me."

Yuna hesitated for a moment. "... Okay."

Only a week later did Wesley realize that Yuna's hesitation was not as simple as it seemed.

The atmosphere suddenly became stiff, and Yuna had to change the subject. "You'd better let Emily contact Rowdy and let Rowdy confirm Emily's safety. Otherwise, he will keep causing trouble for you."

Wesley sneered. "If he dares to cause trouble for me, I won't let him go easily."

Yuna was speechless.

She forgot that if Rowdy was not an easy person, Wesley was more difficult to deal with.

When it was almost three o'clock, Emily came down from upstairs. With tearful eyes, he clenched the index finger of his right hand with his left hand.

The more Yuna looked at him, the stranger she felt. She asked, "Emily, what's wrong with you?"

Emily walked up to Yuna, covering his fingers and not daring to speak.

Yuna held his right hand. "You played on your own in the room after waking up and accidentally got hurt, didn't you?"

Emily put down his left hand and showed Yuna his swollen index finger. "I just played for a while and accidentally twisted it. It hurts." Knowing that it was his own fault, he didn't dare to cry.

Seeing the little boy's pained expression, Yuna was reluctant to teach him a lesson. Moreover, the wound on his hand needed to be treated in the hospital.

Yuna looked at Wesley and said, "I want to take Emily to the hospital. Ask someone to send me there."

Wesley took the car key and said, "I'll drive you there."

Emily pursed his lips and ran over to pull Wesley. "I don't want an injection."

Wesley's originally gloomy mood was mitigated a lot because of the little guy's timid look.

He smiled and asked, "Are you afraid?"

"I'm a kid, and I can be afraid of getting an injection!" Emily made a face at Wesley and stuck his tongue out. "You need to be shy if you're afraid of getting an injection!"

"..." Wesley took Emily's hand and said, "Let's go to the hospital!"

Being dragged away by Wesley, Emily protested. "You haven't promised me yet. I don't want an injection!"

Wesley said, "I'm not a doctor. It's not up to me."

Emily jumped up. "I don't care! Anyway, you..."

Yuna listened to the conversation between Wesley and Emily. It was like Wesley had become a father.

He might not become a gentle and thoughtful father, but he would become the best friend of the child.

It was enough for her to know that.

Wesley drove Emily to the private hospital.

The three of them got off the car. At the same time, Wendy also got off a car. The four of them met face to face.

Wendy had heard Joanne talk about Yuna's pregnancy. When she saw Emily, she widened her eyes and said, "Boss Hayes, it's only been a few days since we last met, but Yuna has given birth to a handsome boy for you, and he has even grown up?"
