Chapter 851 Right Now, I Only Want You

In the ward.

After Gavin entered the ward and settled down, Wendy found that Brian and Joanne did not follow them inside.

"Huh? Where are Cousin and Cousin-in-law?" she asked curiously.

Connell rolled his eyes at Wendy. "They went to the doctor's office."

"Oh." Wendy compressed her lips and said, "I didn't notice."

Connell couldn't help complaining, "Who else did you notice except for Gavin?"

"There's really no one else," replied Gavin. He looked at Connell provocatively. "What's wrong? Do you have any opinion of that?"

"I don't have any opinion of Wendy, but I have a lot of opinions of you!" Connell walked to the bed and looked at Gavin with disdain. "Why are you trying to be a sick person? If you continue like this, do you believe that I will take Wendy away from you?"

"Yes, I do." Gavin answered very straightforwardly and then replied, "But you will not be able to take her away."

"..."

Immediately, Young Master Wesley was stunned. He had never seen such a fearless person.

At the same time, Brian and Joanne returned to the ward and called Wendy to the living room outside.

Wendy was somewhat uneasy. "Cousin, Cousin-in-law, what's wrong?"

"Wendy, we just talked with Henry."

Next, Joanne told Wendy everything that Henry had said.

She and Brian never thought of hiding it from Wendy.

According to Wendy's personality, even if the truth was not as satisfactory as she had expected, she would want to know it.

Besides, she was the person Gavin loved most. All the decisions related to Gavin's illness should be made by her and Gavin together.

To Joanne's surprise, Wendy reacted more calmly than she had imagined.

She was instead worried and walked to Wendy. "Wendy, are you okay?"

"Cousin, I'm fine." Wendy shook her head with a smile. "Gavin and I have already discussed this issue. We knew that one day we would be forced to make a choice."

"What did you choose?" Joanne was surprised and asked, "Conservative treatment or surgery?"

The success rate of the surgery was very low, but it could at least give Gavin a chance to live.

Although conservative treatment would not fail, it could not make Gavin recover. They would eventually lose Gavin.

"We choose the surgery." Wendy said, "We believe in Henry and Dr. Sanchez. We are willing to take a risk."

After that, Wendy suddenly couldn't help crying.

She was not as bold and optimistic as she seemed on the surface. In fact, she was more afraid of failure in surgery and afraid of losing Gavin more than anyone else.

She was more eager to avoid this surgery than anyone else.

However, Gavin's condition forced her to face all this.

Joanne hugged Wendy and said, "Don't be afraid. Henry said that he would do another treatment for Gavin. If the treatment is as satisfactory as before, the success rate of the surgery will be higher. Wendy, we still have hope."

Wendy nodded and bit her lips hard to stop herself from crying out.

Gavin was suffering a lot because of the illness, so she couldn't let him worry about her anymore.

In the ward, Gavin and Connell were gazing at each other.

In the end, Connell proudly turned his head and said, "Forget it. Since you are a patient, I will give in to you this time."

"Don't cover up your defeat." Gavin said, "Originally, you can't defeat me."

From Connell's point of view, it was a pun. Gavin was referring not only to the present but also to the fact that he had lost in pursuing Wendy!

Young Master Wesley couldn't help exploding!

"Gavin!" Connell growled, "Don't forget that you still owe me a favor! I am the person who helped you be with Wendy! Are you going to treat your 'love benefactor' like this?"

"I will return the favor sooner or later." Gavin said, "But I won't compromise on Wendy."

Young Master Wesley snorted, raised his chin, and said proudly, "That damned girl pays all her attention to you. Even if you compromise, I won't accept her!"

Gavin smiled happily. "That's good."

Connell was so angry that his chest rose and fell violently. He couldn't wait to put on his boxing gloves and fight against Gavin.

But after thinking about it, he gave up. As the young master of the Qin family, he would not bully a sick person in bed. Humph!

At this moment, Brian pushed the door open and came in, followed by Joanne and Wendy.

Only then did Gavin notice that there was one person missing. He asked in wonder,"Where is Wesley?"

Brian answered, "I asked him to go back to the top of the mountain."

Gavin understood and said, "You go back too. I'm fine."

Only then did Wendy remember the two little babies. She turned around and said, "Cousin, you go back. Martha and Yuna can't handle Aiden and Romy!"

To be honest, Joanne was somewhat worried about the two little babies. She nodded and left with Brian.

There were only three people left in the ward right now.

Connell looked at Gavin, then at Wendy, and finally at himself.

"Okay, I'm redundant. What am I, chopped liver?"

Young Master Wesley sensibly made an "OK" gesture. "I'll go."

After that, he left candidly without looking back.

He admitted that he had lost in the battle with Gavin for Wendy. He had lost from the moment he had fallen in love with Wendy.

However, no matter how miserably he had lost, he was still the handsome and rakish young master of the Qin family.

"Do you want to see me break down and cry miserably?"

"I'm sorry, no way!"

Looking at Connell walk out of the ward, Gavin said, "He's stupidly in denial."

"..." Wendy was speechless. "Is it proper to talk about Connell like that?"

Gavin deliberately misunderstood Wendy's words. "Do you want to hear more vivid descriptions?"

"I'm very grateful to Connell. Don't talk about him like that!" Wendy poked Gavin hard and sat down on the bed. She stared at Gavin and asked, "Why did you suddenly faint?"

Gavin thought about it and deliberately teased her. "Maybe... I was too tired last night."

Wendy thought for a while and suddenly remembered that last night... she fainted. As for when Gavin ended it, she... had no memory of it.

She slapped on Gavin's chest. "Who asked you to..." "Work so hard!"

Of course, she blushed and did not say the last three words.

Gavin hugged Wendy and rubbed his lips against hers. "If I don't work hard, how can we have twins?"

"I don't want twins anymore!" Wendy's eyes turned red, and tears welled up in her eyes. "Gavin, I don't want babies. I don't want twins!"

Gavin was a little confused by Wendy's sudden tears. He stroked her face and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Anyway, I don't want twins anymore!" Wendy looked at Gavin and said almost willfully, "I only want you now."

Gavin held Wendy in his arms with amusement. "Idiot, yesterday was your safe period. You won't get pregnant. Don't cry."

Wendy blinked and pressed the tears off her eyelashes. "Really?"

"It's true." Gavin kissed Wendy on her forehead. "How can I let you get pregnant now?"

It turned out that Gavin had no intention of having babies at all.

Wendy couldn't tell whether she was moved or guilty. She explained to Gavin with difficulty, "It's... It's not that I don't want children. It's just that before you recover, I want to focus all my attention on you."

Gavin said, "Okay." He stroked Wendy's hair and kissed her on the cheek.

He didn't tell Wendy that even if he recovered, he didn't intend to have children.

The tragedy that happened to him should end on him.

He did not want the tragedy to go on.

"By the way, Henry told my cousin-in-law that you would receive another treatment when you got better, and then, you would have an operation," Wendy said and unconsciously grabbed Gavin's clothes.

Gavin noticed Wendy's nervousness and said in a low voice to comfort her, "We've long been prepared for it. Don't be afraid."

Wendy nodded and got into his arms.

She didn't know whether God would accept her as a believer from now on. If the answer was yes, she was willing to pray for Gavin's successful operation every day from today on.

As long as Gavin got through this period and survived the disease, she could want nothing else in the future...

Thinking of this, Wendy suddenly remembered that she still had something to do, which was as important as praying!

However, she had to make a good plan before carrying it out!

In the ward, Gavin and Wendy were planning, respectively, while outside the ward, Connell was stepping out of the hospital.

Connell walked very fast and soon caught up with Brian and Joanne.

Brian and Joanne were walking unhurriedly, hand in hand. They stayed close to each other and seemed to be very affectionate.

Connell wanted to say goodbye to them, but thinking about it, he gave up.

Thinking about it again, Young Master Wesley felt that... it was really fucking sad for a single man to see this scene!

Young Master Wesley felt down and couldn't help lowering his head with a sigh, accidentally bumping into a bench by the roadside.

Joanne looked back and saw Connell clutching his knee with a grimace. She smiled and said, "Connell, what were you thinking about?"

Connell held back his tears. "I was wondering if I should raise a single dog to accompany me."

Joanne said, "I suggest you find a girlfriend."

"I also want to." Connell waved his hand. "Don't mention it. Someone else has the girl I like."

"Find another girl." Joanne said, "There are so many girls in the world."

This time, Connell did not speak. He watched Brian and Joanne get in the car and leave. Then he said slowly with a sigh, "But I like only one girl."

Joanne saw Connell's mouth while he was speaking in the rearview mirror and figured out his words. She could only smile helplessly.

Connell was a nice person. She hoped that he could meet the next girl he liked and start a romantic relationship as soon as possible.

After leaving the hospital, Joanne asked Brian, "Why did you ask Wesley to go back to the top of the mountain first?"

Just now in the ward, Gavin had asked why Wesley wasnt with them. Brian had casually replied that Wesley had gone back to the top of the mountain first.

She could tell that there was a reason for Wesley to go back first.

Brian told the truth. "I don't believe Yuna."

After all, Rowdy had trained Yuna.

If she still wanted to leave, she could find an opportunity to escape at any time, for she was alone on the top of the mountain right now.

"..." Joanne opened her mouth but finally said nothing.
