Chapter 885 Auntie Yuna, Goodbye (1)

Aunt Helen was the first old person that Emily had gotten on with.

Before getting to know Aunt Helen, Emily had only heard his classmates in the kindergarten talk about their grandparents.

They said that their grandparents were very kind and would give them gifts and send them to school. On weekends, their grandparents would also take them to the amusement park. Also, at family gatherings, their grandparents would kiss them.

He could only blink his eyes to express his envy.

He didn't even have grandparents. He only saw through the window some old men walking on the sidewalk on his way back from school.

He could not imagine how he would feel if there was a silver-haired old lady who treated him extremely well.

It was Granny Helen who helped him feel it. Although Granny Helen was black-haired, her hair was just the same color as his. He liked it!

In the small world of Emily, Aunt Helen, who was kind and amiable, and Yuna both could make him feel warm. So, he never wanted to leave them.

Over the past few days, he had become used to seeing Granny Helen immediately after he woke up.

However, when he woke up this morning, Granny Helen disappeared because she had been taken away by his daddy.

He missed Aunt Helen. But more than anything else, he was worried about Aunt Helen.

Yuna held the little boy in her arms and comforted him gently. "Emily, don't cry. You'll see Granny Helen soon."

However, it might be the last time for Emily to see Aunt Helen.

Only then did Yuna realize that Emily was meaning that he missed Aunt Helen not only now, but also in the future.

Emily did not show that he would miss Aunt Helen for a long time. He nodded obediently and put on an expectant look.

He really did not want to part with Yuna, and he believed that Yuna also did not want to part with him.

Therefore, he could not show any look of sadness, because it would let Auntie Yuna be as sad as him.

Yuna lifted Emily's quilt and asked, "Do you want to get up now?"

Emily did not want to, because he had to leave after getting up.

However, Granny Helen and the babies' grandmother might therefore get hurt, so he could not stay in bed.

With that in mind, Emily nodded and followed Yuna into the bathroom to wash up.

After washing up, Yuna came out with Emily and opened the wardrobe.

The wardrobe was used by Aunt Helen and Emily, but most of the clothes inside belonged to Emily.

Most of Emily's clothes were bought by Aunt Helen when she went to buy ingredients.

It could be noticed that Aunt Helen had put a lot of effort into choosing these clothes which were superior in the materials and the workmanship.

Aunt Helen was even not so attentive to her own clothes. She... really doted on Emily.

Suddenly, Yuna's eyes slightly ached. In order not to let herself cry, she called Emily. "Which one do you want to wear?"

"Anyone is okay!" Emily said, "All the clothes here were bought by Granny Helen!"

Yuna took a small shirt, a pure khaki sweater, plus a warm coat. As for the bottoms, she chose a pair of thermal long underpants, a pair of light-colored jeans, and a pair of snow boots.

After dressing Emily up, Yuna tightened Emily's clothes while asking, "Are you still feeling cold?"

Emily shook his head and said with great vigor, "Not at all!"

"Good." Yuna smiled, put a scarf around Emily's neck, and reached out to him. "Let's go downstairs."

Emily took Yuna's hand and grinned. "Okay, let's go."

After getting downstairs, the bodyguard tSimon Yuna, "Mrs. Lambert and Brother Kai are waiting for you in the club's restaurant."

"I see."

Yuna held Emily's hand and walked out of the villa. She stepped forward slowly, like a person who had been pushed off the cliff and tried to grab a glimmer of hope of survival.

But in the end, she grabbed nothing. No matter how slow she stepped forward, the door of the villa was not far away from the gate.

After taking a few steps away from the door, Emily suddenly turned around and stared at the small villa behind him for a long time.

Yuna did not urge the little boy. She just held his hand and let him look at the villa.

Not long after that, Emily looked back at Yuna and said calmly, "Auntie Yuna, let's go to have breakfast."

Yuna took Emily's hand and walked to the club, asking, "Emily, will you remember the time you spent here?"

Emily nodded, and as if he were afraid that Yuna wouldn't believe him, he said word by word with sincerity in his pure eyes, "I will always remember it."

During his stay here, he spent the longest time with Auntie Yuna, also Granny Helen, and many other gentlemen and ladies, of course, as well as those two babies!

If possible, he hoped to live with them all the time.

Because he was not lonely every day here.

However, he wanted Granny Helen to come back, so he had to go home.

Thinking of this, Emily lowered his eyes in disappointment. When he walked into the club, he came across Chris and Freya.

Freya had learned from the bodyguards that Emily was going back. She came over and touched the little boy's head. "Will you remember us after going home?"

"Yes!" Because he was not good enough at Mandarin, Emily said in English, "When I'm with you, I'm very, very happy, so I'll never, never forget you."

"We won't forget you either." It was rare for Freya to show a gentle look. She took Emily's hand and said, "Let's go to have breakfast."

Joanne and Kai were already in the restaurant. Emily greeted them politely. "Auntie Joanne, Sir, good morning."

Kai knew little about Emily. He only regarded him as Rowdy's son, so he didn't have a good impression of him. When he saw Emily be so polite, he felt something strange.

Joanne was used to Emily being polite, and she said, "I ordered your favorite shrimp dumplings and cream custard buns. What else do you want to eat?"

Emily tilted his head and said obediently, "You've ordered what I would like to eat."

Joanne smiled and called the waiter. "You can serve the dishes now."

It was unclear whether Yuna and Joanne intentionally had breakfast slowly or not. On the contrary, Emily ate at a normal speed.

After eating, Emily wiped his mouth and said, "I'm full."

"..." Yuna and Joanne just stared at Emily and did not say anything.

Seeing this, Kai stood up and said, "Now that you're full, I'll send you home."

Emily slid off the chair and ran to Joanne. "Auntie Joanne."

Perhaps because he was too young, Emily's voice was even softer than those of ordinary little boys. It sounded sweet as if it were going to permeate into people's hearts.

It suddenly occurred to Joanne that there would never be a boy calling her "Auntie Joanne" in such a voice in the future.

Joanne was a little sad, but she had to keep her normal look. She looked at Emily and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Can I see the babies again? Emily's round black eyes sparkled with anticipation, and no one would reject him when seeing the pair of pure eyes.

Joanne took Emily's hand and said, "I'll take you there."

After waking up in the morning, Aiden drank up a bottle of milk and fell asleep again. On the contrary, Romy was energetic, and she kept babbling on the bed vigorously.

Joanne pushed open the door for Emily and said, "They are inside. You can go in."

Emily walked to Romy and stared at the little girl for a moment. Then he reached out and rubbed her chubby little face. "I'm going home."

Romy turned to look at Emily with her black and bright eyes. She kicked her tightly wrapped legs and replied with a "hmm." No one knew if she was agreeing or protesting.

Emily felt that the baby was saying goodbye to him. He smiled and waved at Romy. "Goodbye."

Romy did not make any more sounds. She just stared at Emily and occasionally blinked her eyes.

Emily turned around and went out. Joanne and Yuna were both next to him, but he went straight to Kai and looked up at him. "Sir, let's go."

For no reason, Kai felt that the atmosphere was suddenly filled with depression and sadness. He was not used to this kind of feeling.

Shouldn't they happily send this kid back in exchange for Aunt Helen?

"Let's go."

Kai felt something strange, so he first went downstairs, followed by Emily.

"Emily!" Yuna called Emily, walked over, and took his hand. "I'll take you to the parking lot."

Emily nodded. "OK."

When they went out, it suddenly began to snow.

White snowflakes fluttered down, and there was a sudden drop of a few degrees in the temperature.

Yuna held Emily's hand and walked without stopping or looking back.

Joanne grabbed Freya and said, "Let Yuna send Emily."

Looking at the backs of Yuna and Emily in front of her, Freya nodded and stopped.

The snow was getting heavier and heavier. It would take a long time for the ice-crystal snowflakes to melt after falling into her hands.

Joanne said, "It's too cold outside. Let's go in."

Freya felt the same way and went back to the villa with Joanne.

At this time, Martha ran downstairs and looked very anxious. "Mrs. Lambert, Romy is crying. I can't calm her down."

"She was fine just now, wasn't she? Why did she suddenly cry?"

With that, Joanne ran up to the second floor and heard Romy crying from afar.

She walked into the children's room, picked up her daughter, and coaxed her patiently.

But this time, it did not work at all. Romy cried hysterically as if she had been bullied by someone.

Joanne was afraid that Romy would wake up Aiden, so she had to carry Romy downstairs.

Freya walked over and asked, "What's wrong with Romy?"

"I don't know." Joanne gently wiped away the tears on the little girl's face with her hand. "She suddenly cried badly."

"Tut-tut, let me try."

Freya tried to coax her, but it still did not work.

Joanne had no choice but to go upstairs and make some milk. Then, she took the milk down and fed it to Romy.

Usually, whenever Romy touched the pacifier, she would open her mouth and drink milk.

But today, when Joanne sent the pacifier to her lips, the little girl turned her head to avoid it and did not stop crying.

Joanne took the little girl back from Freya's arms, adjusted to a comfortable posture for Romy, and then waited for her to stop after she was tired of crying.

Romy was a child after all. She soon stopped crying and only sobbed in a low voice. After a while, she fell asleep in Joanne's arms.

No one knew why she suddenly cried.
