Chapter 891 I'm a Talented Baby (1)

"I'm ordering you!"

In Emily's childish voice, there was really a hint of compulsion.

The subordinate braced himself and said awkwardly, "Emily, your father ordered to uncuff them only when they are eating."

Emily turned around, looked at the two old ladies, and asked in a soft voice, "Granny Helen, does it hurt?"

Aunt Helen did not want the kid to worry, so she smiled and said, "Good boy, it doesn't hurt."

Emily tilted his head and thought to himself, "Even if it doesn't hurt, it is uncomfortable."

He imagined that if he were handcuffed like this, he would definitely be very, very angry.

Emily walked up to the subordinate and stretched out his hand. "Give me the key."

The subordinate took out the key uncertainly. "Emily, listen to me..." He wanted to tell Emily about the advantages of cuffing the two old ladies and the disadvantages of uncuffing them.

Emily was not interested in what the subordinate had to say at all. He took the key and turned around, holding Aunt Helen's and Iris's hands and carefully removing their handcuffs.

Then, Emily put the key in his pocket.

The subordinate widened his eyes and was stunned. "Emily, you..."

Emily raised his chin like a leader and announced, "From now on, you don't have to call my daddy and ask if you can uncuff Granny Helen and Granny Iris. I'm the boss!"

"..." The subordinate just wanted to say that he was in a dilemma and he wanted to cry.

Emily glanced at the subordinate and suddenly frowned. He ordered politely, "Sir, can you leave? I don't like you looking at me."

"No!" The subordinate refused flatly, "your daddy said that I must watch over you!"

Rowdy's exact words were that if he did not watch over Emily, Emily would definitely find a way to release Aunt Helen and Iris.

Emily turned around angrily, pouting and looking unhappy.

Aunt Helen stroked Emily's head and said, "Emily, it doesn't matter."

Then, Emily stopped puffing out his cheeks. "Okay."

Iris suddenly interrupted, "Emily, can I ask you a question?"

Emily nodded obediently, and he was distracted, ready to answer Iris's question seriously.

Iris smiled and asked, "How are Uncle Lambert and Auntie Joanne? Are they worried about me?"

Emily thought for a moment, suddenly hugged Iris, and whispered in Iris's ear, "Auntie Joanne is very worried, but I promised her that I would protect you and Granny Helen! So, Auntie Joanne and Uncle Lambert are not worried now. Granny Iris, you don't have to worry!"

In order to comfort Iris, the little boy tried to answer the question with causal logic.

Iris understood the little boy's intention and smiled. "Thank you."

Emily also raised the corner of his mouth. He looked pure and bright, like a guardian angel.

Half an hour later, Milo came in and said, "Emily, come back for dinner with me."

Emily did not leave. Instead, he asked, "What will Granny Helen and Granny Iris eat?"

Milo did not expect the little boy to even care about this, so he could only patiently reply, "Someone will bring their food here."

Emily replied with an "oh" and sat down, shaking his legs. "Then bring my food here too!"

Milo tut-tutted, and a hint of anger appeared on his face. "Emily, if you go on like this, your daddy will be angry. Come back with me!"

Emily pursed his lips and stood still, unwilling to leave.

Milo came over and was about to pull Emily.

Emily sensed the danger and nimbly crept into Aunt Helen's arms. He cried out in a second, "Granny Helen, someone bullied me. Boohoo..."

Milo swore that he had absolutely not touched Emily yet.

But Emily was crying so badly that he could not help wondering if he had beaten the little boy with his mind...

"Boohoo..."

Emily was still crying. Milo's hand froze in the air. He did not know what to do at all.

Aunt Helen could not bear to see the situation going out of control just like this. She touched Emily's head and said, "The man just asked you to go back for dinner. He was not bullying you. You go back for dinner with him first. After eating, you still can come to Granny Iris and me."

"I don't want to eat with Daddy." Emily said in a wronged tone, "I want to eat with you."

Aunt Helen was certainly willing to eat with Emily, but Rowdy asked someone to send them ordinary boxed meals. It was the time of physical growth for the little boy, and ordinary boxed meals could not provide him with the necessary nutrition at all.

"Emily, you have to be obedient," Aunt Helen coaxed the little boy, "follow the man to eat first."

Emily pursed his lips and did not understand why Aunt Helen refused him.

At the top of the mountain, Granny Helen clearly liked eating with him very much, and she would also cook a lot of delicious food for him.

Emily used his brain and soon thought of something. He asked, "Granny Helen, is the food they prepare for you not tasty?"

"No," Aunt Helen said, "go back quickly. Don't starve yourself."

Emily was unexpectedly obedient and ran out of the room.

In the dining room of the Kent family's old house, Rowdy was waiting for Emily. Next to him stood the man who had just taken Emily to see Aunt Helen.

"How do you feel about the relationship between Emily and the two old ladies?" Rowdy asked, "is he really familiar with them?"

"It seems so." The subordinate told the truth. "As soon as Emily arrived, he directly threw himself into Mrs. Helen's arms. He also looked very familiar with Iris. Brother Rowdy, I found that... Emily has a good relationship with the two old ladies."

Rowdy replied, "Hum. I got it. Go and do your work."

At this time, Emily ran back from the back door. "Daddy!"

Rowdy said, "Go wash your hands and then come back for dinner."

"Oh." Emily obediently cleaned his small hands, climbed up to the chair, sat upright, and asked politely, "Daddy, can I start eating now?"

Rowdy took his chopsticks and picked up a leave of greens for Emily. "Eat."

When Milo came back and saw such a scene, he always felt that Emily was a little too obedient. In front of Rowdy, Emily should not be so obedient.

Moreover, Emily had been sticking so stubbornly to eating with the two old ladies just now.

His intuition told him that Emily was up to something.

Sure enough...

Emily took a bite of the vegetable and immediately spat it out. He also threw away his chopsticks and spoon, making a lot of noise.

Rowdy frowned and asked sternly, "What's wrong?"

"It doesn't taste good!" Emily showed a look of displeasure on his face. He repeated, "It's not tasty at all. I don't want to eat it!"

Milo came over and reported to Rowdy what had just happened in a low voice.

Rowdy guessed that Emily was deliberately making trouble, so he asked directly, "What do you want to eat?"

"I want to eat the dishes prepared for Granny Helen and Granny Iris. I want to eat with them!" Emily snorted and continued, "the dishes are not tasty at all. I don't want to eat with you anymore!"

Rowdy wiped his hands and stared at Emily. "What if I don't agree?"

Rowdy rarely had a smile on his face, so whether he was speaking or not, he gave people a feeling of coercion.

Emily was more or less afraid of Rowdy.

However, if he was afraid now, he would not be able to protect Granny Helen and Granny Iris.

Emily puffed out his cheeks and said angrily, "If you don't agree, I won't eat. Humph!"

Rowdy banged on the table and ordered angrily, "Pick up your chopsticks and eat. Don't mention your Granny Helen and Granny Iris again!"

In Emily's little world, he felt that he had the freedom to say anything he wanted. Why did not Daddy allow him to mention Granny Helen and Granny Iris?

In a fit of anger, Emily picked up his chopsticks and threw them directly into the trash can.

He was the first one who dared to challenge Rowdy so boldly.

Rowdy was infuriated. He walked over with a gloomy face. It seemed that he was going to teach Emily a lesson.

At that moment, Emily was really scared. He pursed his lips and burst into tears. "Mommy..."

Rowdy froze, and the gloom on his face gradually disappeared, turning into a look of mixed emotions.

Emily curled up into a small ball, buried his face in his knees, and grumbled tearfully, "I hate you. I want Mommy. I want Mommy..."

When Emily was very young, Rowdy was unwilling to take Emily with him, and he rarely went to see him because of his biological mother.

Emily looked a lot like his mother. When Rowdy saw Emily, he would only fall into deep self-blame.

Even today, Rowdy would still think that everything would not be like this if he could take good care of his woman.

It was the right decision for him not to see Emily. After a few years, he had gradually forgotten Emily's biological mother.

For so many years, it was only when Emily was very, very young that he asked where his mother had gone. He told Emily the truth that his mother had passed away.

After that, Emily never asked about his mommy again. He did not even mention the word "mommy" in front of him.

This was the first time that he had cried for his mommy.

Old and sweet memories came to Rowdy's mind. He called Milo over and only gave him an order of "watching over Emily" before leaving the old house.

Emily did not care about Rowdy and cried louder and louder.

Milo walked over and touched Emily's little shoulder in panic. "Emily."

"Ahem..." Emily was out of breath from crying. He coughed a few times and continued to cry, ignoring Milo.

Milo had to say, "I'll take you to Granny Helen."

Emily slid off the chair and retraced the path he had taken previously to find Aunt Helen, leaving Milo far behind.

At the same time, Aunt Helen and Iris were eating.

Rowdy still asked someone to bring them ordinary boxed meals. The green vegetables were overcooked and mushy, and the braised pork was greasy, making it impossible for people to have an appetite.

Aunt Helen split apart a pair of disposable chopsticks and said to Iris, "Anyway, eat as much as you can."

Iris nodded. As soon as she picked up her chopsticks, she vaguely heard someone crying. She frowned and said, "It seems to be Emily."

Aunt Helen's ears did not work quite well. She was confused and asked, "What?"

"Emily seems to be crying."

As soon as Iris finished speaking, Emily cried and ran in.

Aunt Helen hurriedly put down her chopsticks. "Emily, what's wrong? Didn't you go for dinner? Why are you crying?"

"Granny Helen..."

Emily plunged into Aunt Helen's arms and hugged her tightly. The more he cried, the sadder he became. Occasionally, he coughed hard, unable to speak.
