Chapter 893 Aunt Helen Suddenly Got Hurt

In the living room of the old house.

Having sand in his eyes was a very uncomfortable thing. Emily rubbed his eyes and did not notice the falling brick at all.

Seeing that, Aunt Helen looked pale, and she called out, "Emily!"

For so many days on the top of the mountain, Aunt Helen had been carefully taking care of Emily for fear that this little guy would get hurt.

How could he get hurt on the first day of his return?

With a sudden spurt of energy, Aunt Helen ran over to hug Emily. She had begun to build a safe harbor for the little boy with her aging body.

Right at that moment, the brick hit heavily on Aunt Helen's head.

Emily heard a "bang" sound as something fell heavily onto the ground.

He struggled to look up from Aunt Helen's arms and saw blood constantly dripping down along her head.

"Granny Helen!"

Emily screamed and even forgot to cry. He reached out to cover Aunt Helen's wound.

Immediately, Iris looked pale. She came over to help Aunt Helen press on her wound to stop the bleeding. At the same time, she said to Emily, "It's too dangerous to stand on the stool. Come down first."

Emily took back his hand. His palm was covered with Aunt Helen's blood.

Only then did Emily finally realize that Aunt Helen got hurt.

The little boy burst into tears and ran out. "Daddy, Uncle Milo..."

Rowdy and Milo arrived just in time.

Emily rushed over and hugged Rowdy's thigh in a panic. "Daddy, Granny Helen got hurt. Hurry up and call the doctor to save her. Granny Helen... woowoo... Granny Helen lost a lot of blood..."

Rowdy was a little surprised. Judging from the surveillance video just now, it was Emily who might have been injured. How could Mrs. Helen get hurt?

Being confused, Rowdy picked up Emily and walked into the living room.

Iris was pressing on Aunt Helen's wound, but this method was obviously useless. Blood kept gushing out of Aunt Helen's wound.

Aunt Helen's blood was warm, but Iris's hands and feet were cold. She looked at Rowdy and said in a trembling voice, "It's a deep cut. If we don't send her to the hospital, it will be difficult to deal with it."

However, if Aunt Helen was sent to the hospital, it would not take long for Wesley and Brian to find her, and they would definitely rescue her immediately.

Rowdy thought for a moment and told Milo, "Go and call Doctor He!"

Due to the excessive loss of blood, Aunt Helen could no longer support herself. She shook violently and fell on Iris.

Iris reacted very quickly. She held Aunt Helen and asked worriedly, "Aunt Helen, how are you feeling?

Aunt Helen wanted to squeeze out a smile to reassure Iris, but the excessive loss of blood made it particularly difficult for her to smile.

Iris could see that Aunt Helen was weak, so she held her even tighter. She called her again, "Aunt Helen!"

"..." This time, Aunt Helen closed her eyes directly, with all her weight on Iris.

Emily cried and ran over. "Granny Helen."

Seeing this, Rowdy motioned for one of his men to come over.

The man nodded and took Aunt Helen to the room.

Iris followed him in. At the same time, another man brought her a first aid kit.

Iris fumbled for medical supplies from the first aid kit to help Aunt Helen stop the bleeding.

Emily also ran in. He wiped away his tears, stood beside Aunt Helen, and kept looking at her.

Seeing that the little boy was really worried, Iris pressed on Aunt Helen's wound said to him soothingly, "Emily, don't worry too much. Granny Helen is just slightly injured. She will be fine."

"Granny Iris," Emily said in a tearful voice, "can I help you stop the bleeding?"

"Good boy, you can't do it. I can do it alone," Iris comforted the little boy, "you can just stay here with Granny Helen."

Emily nodded, went up to Aunt Helen, and grabbed her hand.

Excessive loss of blood, plus no heating here, Aunt Helen's hands and feet were cold.

Emily struggled to drag over the quilt from the corner of the bed. He unfolded it and put it on Aunt Helen.

Iris smiled at the little boy and said, "You just accompany Granny Helen here. Let's wait for the doctor. The doctor will help Granny Helen."

Emily nodded. It did not take long for the doctor to arrive.

The doctor was a middle-aged man in his early fifties. He was very skilled in bandaging, and quickly, he finished dressing Aunt Helen's wound. However, the blood soon soaked the gauze.

Seeing that, Rowdy frowned and asked, "Uncle Nelson, how is it going?"

Uncle Nelson shook his head and said, "It's a very deep cut. The situation is not optimistic. For her safety, you'd better send her to the hospital."

"..." Rowdy hesitated and did not speak.

Hearing that, Iris got up and went straight to Rowdy. "Don't you want to send Aunt Helen to the hospital?"

"No," Rowdy stared at Iris coldly and said, "Iris, don't think that I don't know what you are thinking. You want me to send Mrs. Helen to the hospital so that Wesley and your son can find her and save her. Listen, you are dreaming!"

"Since Wesley and Brian sent Emily back to you, you should have sent Aunt Helen back a long time ago," Iris was also angry, "Rowdy, do you want to act as a role model for your son? Do you want your son to learn to eat his words from you?"

"It's not your business!" Rowdy approached Iris and wore a murderous look in his gloomy eyes. "Iris, now it's not Mrs. Helen but you who is really in danger."

Iris smiled and looked into Rowdy's eyes without fear. "I know, fifteen years ago, you wanted to kill me. Unfortunately, you didn't succeed."

"Fifteen years ago, I failed. But now, you are in my control," Rowdy said fiercely, "you'd better mind your own business, or I will kill you before Brian exchanges Yuna for you."

"You don't dare." Iris smiled and looked at Rowdy insightfully and sharply. "You put a lot of effort into bribing someone of the Zhong family to kidnap me just to threaten Brian, didn't you? Now, Aunt Helen got hurt. If you kill me, who can you use to threaten Brian? What's the point of your kidnapping?"

Even if Rowdy was unwilling to admit it, Iris was right. He could not kill her for the time being, even if he really wanted to.

The feeling of being seen through made Rowdy feel very bad.

"Daddy," Emily ran up to Rowdy, cried, and begged, "can you take Granny Helen to the hospital? I'll listen to you in the future, and I won't make you angry again. Please take Granny Helen to the hospital, Daddy..."

Rowdy looked at the doctor and asked, "Uncle Nelson, will she have an accident?"

"Nothing will happen for the time being," Uncle Nelson could see that Rowdy did not want to send the old lady to the hospital, so he said, "we can wait until tomorrow. If the old lady doesn't wake up then, we can send her to the hospital."

Rowdy looked at Emily and asked, "Did you hear Grandpa He's words clearly?"

"Why don't you send Granny Helen to the hospital immediately?" Emily squatted down and curled up into a ball beside Rowdy, crying louder and louder. "Tomorrow, Granny Helen will still lose a lot of blood, and it will hurt for a long time. I don't want to wait!"

"You must wait!" Rowdy shouted, "we can't go to the hospital now!"

Seeing the scene, Uncle Nelson said to Emily soothingly, "I'll prescribe some medicine and give her an IV drip. Don't worry; she won't feel any pain."

Emily did not say anything. He wiped away his tears and returned to the bed to accompany Aunt Helen.

Rowdy asked Uncle Nelson to stay and then left the room.

Iris followed him out and stopped Rowdy. With her voice being not as soft as it had been, she asked coldly, "If something happens to Aunt Helen, can you take the responsibility?"

Rowdy sneered as if he did not care. "If something happens to Mrs. Helen, then she will be the number... people I've killed... I'm sorry, I've lost count of it. Well, I killed so many people, but I'm still alive and fine. To put it bluntly, killing Mrs. Helen doesn't matter to me at all."

"..."

Iris shook her head and took a step back as if she wanted to stay away from Rowdy.

She could not understand how he could be so crazy.

Rowdy stared at Iris and continued, "At this time, you'd better not worry about Mrs. Helen. You should worry about yourself. Don't forget what I warned you of."

"I won't. Rowdy, do you think that I should be afraid of you after you intimidated me?" Iris looked into Rowdy's eyes and smiled disdainfully. "To tell you the truth, I have lived for decades longer than you, and I've gone through a lot. I admit that I don't want to die, but it doesn't mean that I will be afraid of you."

"It's really interesting," Rowdy nodded and added, "I'm looking forward to seeing you say so in a few days."

Iris maintained a disdainful smile and said word by word, "Rowdy, I will never be afraid of you. That year, you killed my husband, and I had no ability to fight back and had to escape. But after so many years, my son has grown up. With him, you will never have a good end."

"I'm afraid that you're wrong," Rowdy said, "you and Brian should have died more than a decade ago, but I let you live for another fifteen years. The truth should be that I will not let the Lu family have a good end! By the way, I heard that there are two newborn babies in your family, right?"

Iris was not surprised that Rowdy actually wanted to hurt two newborn babies.

However, she was not afraid at all. She sneered and said, "Rowdy, don't imagine that you can hurt the Lu family!"

"Well, I won't hurt Joanne." Rowdy suddenly laughed. "I really wonder why Brian dared to marry such a beautiful woman since he knows that I will come back. Take a guess, what will I do to her if I catch Joanne?"

Iris knew what Rowdy was implying. She could not stand Rowdy's insult to Joanne, so she suddenly raised her hand and was about to slap Rowdy in the face.

How could Rowdy be ready to be slapped by Iris?

He raised his hand, intercepted Iris's falling palm, and shook her off. Then, Iris suddenly lost her balance and slumped to the ground...
