Chapter 895 Got Information About Aunt Helen

Milo went to pay the bill, and Emily stood alone at the door of the operating room.

After more than half an hour, the door finally opened, and Aunt Helen was pushed out by the doctors and nurses.

"Doctor," Emily went straight to the attending doctor, "is my granny okay?"

"Don't worry, she is fine," the attending doctor squatted down and told Emily, "we have dressed her wound and it will heal. However, she still needs some rest, so she won't wake up for the time being. Can you wait patiently for a while?"

"Sure!" Emily nodded and looked at the doctor expectantly, "uncle, how long will I wait?"

The doctor looked at the time and stretched out four fingers, saying, "Four hours at most."

Emily counted with his fingers. Four hours was as long as four sixty minutes, which didn't seem to be a long time.

The little fellow finally had a smile on his face. "Thank you, doctor!"

"Good boy, you're welcome," the doctor said, "the nurse is going to send your granny to the ward to rest. You could go with her."

Milo just paid the money and came back. He followed them into the ward.

He checked Aunt Helen's condition and said to Emily, "Wait here for a moment. I'll call your daddy."

Emily paid all his attention to Aunt Helen and replied "Okay" perfunctorily. In fact, he didn't care where Milo was going at all. He kept his eyes on Aunt Helen.

There were two nurses in the ward. Both of them were young girls. They chatted with each other when they settled Aunt Helen.

One of them gave Aunt Helen the intravenous drip and then suddenly said, "Nana, do you remember Wendy, the intern at the cardiac surgery department? I haven't heard about her recently."

"How could I not remember her? The red packet event was so sensational back then. But it seems that the cardiac surgery department hasn't gotten any of her information either. Doesn't she want to be a doctor anymore?"

"No way! Dr. Oliver from that department said Wendy was very talented. If..."

Before she could finish her words, she was interrupted by Emily.

Emily ran to the nurses and looked up at them, asking, "Miss, do you know Sister Wendy?"

"Wow, what a lovely child," one nurse pinched Emily's cheek, "are you talking about Dr. Wendy?"

"I don't know what Sister Wendy's surname is," Emily tilted his head, "but her boyfriend is Uncle Gavin."

Hearing Gavin's name, the nurse was instantly sure that Emily referred to Wendy. She nodded and said, "We should be talking about the same person. What a coincidence. Do you know Dr. Moore too?"

"Yes, I know Sister Wendy," Emily's eyes lit up, and he grabbed the nurse's clothes and begged, "Miss, can you help me call Sister Wendy?"

The nurse was not familiar with Wendy. Emily's request was so sudden that she couldn't react for a moment.

Emily was so anxious that his forehead was about to sweat.

As long as he contacted Sister Wendy, he could ask her to tell Uncle Hayes that Granny Helen was in this hospital.

As long as Uncle Hayes knew that Granny Helen was here, he would definitely take her home.

In this way, Emily didn't have to worry that no one would take care of Granny Helen.

The problem was whether he could convince the nurse to call Sister Wendy before Milo came back after calling his father.

Once Milo came back, he would definitely stop the nurse from making the phone call.

"Miss," Emily's eyes were red, "please, help me call Sister Wendy, okay?"

Before the nurse could make a sound, Milo's voice came closer and closer.

"Brother Rowdy, I see. I'll take Emily back right away."

"Miss, I'm leaving. My daddy won't let me come back to see Granny Helen again. Please, help me tell Sister Wendy that Granny Helen is in your hospital." Emily said in a very anxious tone and his eyes were filled with tears.

The nurse's heart softened. She nodded and said, "Okay, I'll call Dr. Moore."

Emily wiped away his tears and said, "Thank you, Miss."

At this time, Milo came in and said, "Emily, we're going back."

Emily looked at Aunt Helen worriedly and asked, "What about Granny Helen?"

"I've already handled the admission procedures for her. The doctors and nurses will take care of her," Milo's tone became serious, "Emily, don't waste time anymore. Come with me."

Emily ran back and grabbed Aunt Helen's hand, saying, "Granny Helen, I'm going back. Please wake up when you have a good rest."

Uncle Hayes would take you home.

This was what Emily actually wanted to say, but he didn't say it out loud and only repeated it in his mind.

"Emily," Milo was impatient and kept urging him.

Emily put Aunt Helen's hand back in the quilt and followed Milo. He turned to look back repeatedly at every step.

Milo didn't tell Emily that Rowdy asked him to take Emily away as soon as possible for a reason.

Rowdy told him on the phone that Wesley's subordinates might have already found that Aunt Helen was in the hospital.

If he didn't take Emily back immediately, once Wesley's subordinates arrived, he and Emily would not be able to go back.

Rowdy was right. Kai and Dui Fang did find out that Aunt Helen was sent to the hospital.

Yesterday, after returning from the police station, Wesley specially told Kai to keep a close watch on the movements of Rowdy and the subordinates around him.

Kai had messed up the plan of getting Aunt Helen back. This time, he would make every effort to complete what Wesley had asked him to do.

He did gain something.

Early in the morning, Kai found that Milo, a subordinate that Rowdy trusted most, left the old house of the Kent family.

He sent someone to follow him and found Milo went to the hospital where Wendy used to work as an intern and went through the admission procedures for a person.

That person was none other than Aunt Helen.

"fuck!" Kai couldn't help swearing, "what did Rowdy do to Aunt Helen?"

Kai contacted Wesley as soon as possible.

This morning, Wesley and Brian had already returned to the top of the mountain.

When Kai called, Wesley just woke up.

Wesley didn't rest well last night. It was not only because he had been worried about Aunt Helen, but also because he had had a feeling that something would happen.

Yuna was also worried about the two old ladies. She couldn't sleep well, either. When Wesley got up, she got up, too.

Noticing Yuna's action, Wesley glanced at her and asked, "Why are you up so early?"

Yuna stared at Wesley's knitted brows, asking, "What's wrong with you?"

"I'm fine," Wesley rubbed his eyebrows and answered, "you can sleep a little longer."

"You can't fall asleep, neither can I," Yuna lifted the quilt and asked, "how's it going with Aunt Helen and Aunt Iris?"

Just as Wesley was about to answer, his cell phone rang, and Kai's name was displayed on the screen.

He answered the phone at once.

Kai didn't even have time to say hello. He directly described what had happened in the fastest speed and the simplest words.

"Brother Wesley, we followed one of Rowdy's subordinates and found he sent Aunt Helen to the hospital. He also handled the hospitalization procedures for Aunt Helen. I double that something has happened to Aunt Helen."

Wesley suddenly stood up and asked, "Which hospital?"

"The hospital where Miss Moore used to work as an intern," Kai said, "it's called the Eighth Hospital."

"I'll go there right now," Wesley quickly put on his coat, "find out why Aunt Helen is in the hospital. And send someone to take command of the hospital and Aunt Helen's ward immediately!"

"The people nearby have been dispatched there. I'll arrive in ten minutes," Kai said word by word in a firm tone, "Brother Wesley, don't worry. This time, I won't let Aunt Helen fall into Rowdy's hands again."

Wesley hung up the phone and took out an improved AK-47 assault rifle from under the pillow. He clipped it to his belt and hid it with his black coat.

Yuna looked at Wesley and asked, "Is there any news about Aunt Helen? Where are you going?"

"Aunt Helen is in the hospital," Wesley said, "I'll pick her up."

"Why is she in the hospital?" Yuna got out of bed and asked, "what did Rowdy do to Aunt Helen?"

"I'm not sure. Kai is still investigating," Wesley motioned for Yuna to calm down, "wait here. I will contact you when I get definite information."

As soon as he finished speaking, Wesley turned around and left the room quickly, leaving Yuna no chance to say one more word.

So she had to walk to the window of the room and push it open. In less than half a minute, she saw Wesley striding out.

"Wesley!" Yuna suddenly shouted.

Wesley stopped and looked back at Yuna who was on the second floor.

"Be careful," Yuna said, "Rowdy may have set a trap for you."

Wesley's knitted brows slowly eased, and his voice became much softer. "I will," he responded.

The subordinate had already driven the car to the door and called Wesley from afar, "Brother Wesley."

Yuna didn't want to waste any time, so she said, "Go."

Wesley didn't say anything. He went out and got in the car.

The car had an outstanding performance. In the blink of an eye, it went out of Yuna's sight. After going down the mountain, it headed for the hospital where Wendy had worked as an intern.

At that time, Wendy who was working at a private hospital received a call from the Eighth Hospital.

It was a girl who claimed to be a nurse at the hospital and she asked if Wendy knew a woman whose surname was Zhou.

"Granny Helen?" Emily's voice immediately jumped out of Wendy's mind. Thinking of something, she said, "I'm not sure who you're talking about. Can you send me a photo?"

The nurse quickly sent the photo. Wendy recognized Aunt Helen at a glance.

Aunt Helen was in the Eighth Hospital, and the nurse managed to contact her.

Wendy was in a panic. Fortunately, Gavin was there. She ran to tell him about it.

Gavin reacted quickly. He directly dialed Brian's number and told him what had happened to Aunt Helen in the Eighth Hospital. He also reminded Brian, "Is this a trap that Rowdy set for us?"

"Probably not," Brian said, "a few minutes ago, Kai found Aunt Helen was indeed sent to the hospital, and Wesley has already rushed there."

Gavin paused and then asked, "Do you need me to go there? I should be faster than Wesley."
