The drip dropped a little fast. Wesley was worried that Aunt Helen could not bear it, so he slowed it down.
When he withdrew his hand, he felt his mobile phone vibrated slightly in his pocket. He took it out and saw a text message from Yuna.
It was only a line of words that read, "Have you found Aunt Helen?"
Wesley dialed Yuna's number while walking out.
After just a ring, Yuna picked up the phone and asked anxiously, "How is Aunt Helen?"
Wesley just said, "She's injured."
"Where is she hurt? Is it serious?" Yuna's voice exposed her worry and anxiety.
"Something heavy hit her on the head, and she passed out because of excessive bleeding." Considering that Yuna was also concerned about Aunt Helen, Wesley's voice finally softened, "Don't worry too much. The doctor said Aunt Helen will wake up in a few hours."
Yuna breathed a sigh of relief. After a while, she asked, "Why was Aunt Helen injured? Did... Rowdy do that?"
Supposed that Wesley and Rowdy switched roles and Yuna asked Rowdy the same question, Rowdy would probably tell Yuna that it was Wesley who had gone crazy and hurt the old lady's head which was the weakest part of the human body.
However, Wesley was not Rowdy.
Wesley tSimon Yuna the whole story. After that, he paused for a moment and then continued, "Rowdy didn't cause Aunt Helen's injury directly. But if he had kept his promise and let her back, Aunt Helen wouldn't have been hurt yesterday."
He insisted to put the blame on Rowdy.
"Aunt Helen was injured yesterday?" Yuna was a little surprised, but at the same time, she was angry. She asked, "Why did Rowdy take her to the hospital today? Is Aunt Helen's condition very bad?"
"After sending Aunt Helen to the hospital, Rowdy regarded her as a trouble," Wesley's cold voice showed his scorn, "if this wasn't his last resort, he wouldn't have sent Aunt Helen to the hospital."
"..."
Yuna didn't say anything.
In fact, she was not surprised.
Personal interests first-that was indeed Rowdy's conduct.
After Aunt Helen was injured, the first thing Rowdy thought about must be what value Aunt Helen had to him rather than her life.
Yuna closed her eyes for a second and stopped mentioning Rowdy anymore. She asked Wesley, "What are you going to do next?"
Wesley had already made the plan. He said, "When Aunt Helen wakes up, I will transfer her to a private hospital."
"I..." Yuna mumbled, "Wesley, I want to..."
Wesley knew what Yuna was thinking. He refused her before she could finish her words, saying, "It's safe for you to stay at the top of the mountain. Aunt Helen will go back after she recovers. It's not late to visit her then."
"Well, I'll listen to you..."
Yuna's voice showed little disappointment. Obviously, when she made the request, she was ready to be refused by Wesley.
But she didn't know that the last sentence "I'll listen to you" inadvertently pleased Wesley.
Wesley responded with a gentle tone, "I'll be back as soon as I deal with the matters here. You... eat regularly."
He clearly paused for a moment after the word "you".
Yuna didn't expect that Wesley only say "eat regularly".
She couldn't help laughing and teased him, "Wesley, can your advice be more simple and plain?"
"Do you want to hear something flowery?" Wesley smirked and said word by word, "Yuna, you'd better follow my instructions and stay at the top of the mountain. If I find you have other intentions, I will break your legs when I go back."
"Ahem!" Yuna cleared her throat and said, "Wesley, you're on speaker now."
Wesley was stunned, which was rare. He asked, "Are you at Joanne's home?"
He thought Yuna was reminding him that there were others around.
"No. I'm still in my room," Yuna said leisurely, "but I'm not the only person here. Your son, oh, maybe it's your daughter-that's not important. The point is that the child will regard his father as a violent maniac."
"..." Wesley raised the corner of his mouth. After a long while, he said, "If his father hadn't been violent, how could he have been here?"
Wesley was indeed very violent during the intercourse that caused Yuna's pregnancy.
However, Yuna could have never expected that Wesley would admit his violence under such circumstances.
She felt that she would rather Wesley refuse to admit it.
Yuna's mind was in chaos, and she couldn't say a word.
Wesley unhurriedly urged, "Yuna, isn't the signal on top of the mountain good?"
Yuna squeezed out two words with difficulty, "Very good."
"Then why didn't you make a sound?"
Wesley said in a calm tone. To put it nicely, he was unruffled; but to put it bluntly, he obviously-
Needed a spanking!
However, Yuna had to admit that she was no match for Wesley.
Even if she could win against him, she was "too far away to do so" at the moment.
Yuna closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Because I don't want to talk to you!" She said.
"We don't have any conflicts; why don't you want to talk to me?" Pretending to be serious, Wesley said slowly, "It's not good for prenatal education."
"Wesley!" Yuna wanted to turn over the table, "Whose behavior is not good for prenatal education? Tell me with your conscience!"
"Damn it!
"Wesley talked erotic words frequently. What did I say? I didn't even mention prenatal education!
"I just said I didn't want to talk to him, and he thought it was not good for prenatal education?
"What an obvious double standard! How... shameless!"
Yuna swore that if she put up with Wesley anymore, she would call him grandpa in the future!
At that time, a stormy scene was playing in Yuna's mind.
Wesley seemed to know it. He did not make a sound until the "storm" stopped. He asked, "Do you mean that I'm the one who sets a bad example for the baby?"
"Yes!" Yuna roared, "It's true!"
"What did I do?" Wesley said slowly and expectantly, "Tell me, and I will definitely correct my mistakes."
Yuna sneered in her heart.
She knew Wesley said it on purpose!
He was waiting for her to say it and then took advantage of her.
She would not be fooled!
Thinking about that, Yuna sneered from the bottom of her heart. She responded, "Wesley, it's your inherent feature. I don't think you can change."
"You think I can't change. But in fact, you don't want me to change." Wesley cleverly took aim at Yuna, "Yuna, you like me to be like this, don't you?"
"..."
Yuna was stunned by the question.
Wesley's tone was so certain that for a moment, she almost admitted that Wesley was right.
Fortunately, she was not completely stupid and soon realized that Wesley was misleading her.
"Wesley!" Yuna gnashed her teeth and said, "Do you know you are breaking the rules?"
Instead of answering her, Wesley just smiled on the phone.
Yuna was astonished.
If she didn't hear it wrong, Wesley sounded very happy.
But hadn't he been in a bad mood just now?
Their dialogue on the phone sounded like a quarrel. But Wesley was in a good mood?
It must be because he took a perverted delight in winning the argument!
"Yuna, there's one more thing that you should know," Wesley suddenly said.
"What's it?" Yuna didn't cooperate at all. Her lazy voice showed no interest in this thing.
Wesley said slowly, "Today, Emily sent Aunt Helen to the hospital. In addition, he asked the nurse to contact Wendy to tell us what happened in the hospital."
Yuna was a little surprised. After a while, she spoke, "So?"
"So, you are right," Wesley said. "That guy is different from Rowdy."
Yuna didn't say anything.
Even if Emily was different from Rowdy, it couldn't change the fact that he was Rowdy's son.
"Yuna?" Wesley asked, "Are you still with me?"
"Yes." Yuna hesitated for a moment and answered, "Go and accompany Aunt Helen. I'll go to Joanne's home."
"Okay."
Wesley didn't hang up right away. Instead, he was waiting for Yuna to hang up first.
In less than two seconds, the call ended. Wesley slightly raised the corner of his mouth and went back to the ward.
Since Wesley came out, the men who guarded outside the ward had been devoted to their duties and keeping silent.
After Wesley returned to the ward, they gathered together spontaneously with strange expressions on their faces.
In the end, someone broke the silence and said, "Do you believe in supernatural things?"
Some shook their heads, and some nodded.
That person then added, "Whether you believe it or not, you must have heard of 'possession'. Brother Wesley must have been possessed just now!"
"That's a good explanation!" The one who shook his head echoed, "I didn't believe in ghosts and gods, but now I do!"
"Me too," another person said diffidently, "how could Brother Wesley act like that in the past! Oh dear, he even smiled just now! If he wasn't happy, I would have been scared to cry!"
"Idiot. Brother Wesley didn't smile at you. Why would you cry?" Another person said, "Think about it. Brother Wesley would only be possessed when he calls Yuna, right?"
The others pondered for a moment and nodded successively.
Indeed, in front of others, Wesley was still the same as before - dignified and frightening.
"You've been talking for so long. Do you know what possesses Brother Wesley?"
Kai's voice suddenly came. Everyone followed the sound and found him standing against the wall of the elevator. They didn't know when he had come back.
They asked curiously, "Brother Kai, what do you think dares to possess Brother Wesley? Is it a ghost or a god?"
Someone shouted before Kai, "I think it's a demon!"
There was a burst of laughter.
Not until others stopping laughing did Kai uncover the secret. He said, "Brother Wesley is possessed by love."
