Chapter 903 Brian, Let Me Help You

Wesley and Brian came back together. When Yuna stared at Brian and Joanne, he was staring at Yuna.

Wesley did not expect Yuna not to notice him at all.

He put his hands in the pockets of his jacket and went straight to Yuna. "What is it about them that attracts your attention for so long?"

Only then did Yuna notice Wesley. She was surprised to see him and asked, "When did you come back?"

"At the same time as Brian." Wesley stared at Yuna and asked with unclear emotions, "didn't you see me just now?"

"No..." Yuna shook her head honestly. "I only saw Mr. Brian just now. He is tall, handsome, and imposing like a god!"

Wesley put his arms around Yuna's waist and took her into his arms. He said in a warning and displeased tone, "Did you really not see me at all?"

"No." Yuna spread out her hands. "After all, Mr. Brian is too dazzling."

There was a cold light flashing across Wesley's eyes. "Yuna, I think you need a spanking."

Yuna suddenly had a bad feeling. Wesley would not beat her up, would he?

Yuna's intuition told her that he would.

She pointed to the road ahead and explained, "It is messy here. If you just stay in my blind spot, it's normal that I don't see you. You can't ask me to see things through, can you?"

Yuna seemed not to be lying.

Wesley accepted Yuna's explanation and asked, "What were you thinking about just now?"

"I was thinking that Joanne and Mr. Brian were a perfect couple." Yuna sighed. "When they stand together, it's just a picture."

This time, Wesley was sure that Yuna was lying.

Wesley ignored Yuna's words and said, "Brian and I will solve Aunt Iris's problem. Don't overthink."

"..."

Yuna thought that she was good at acting, but this time, she did not expect to be seen through by Wesley so quickly.

She compressed her lips, and with her teasing look slowly fading away, she said in a heavy tone, "Anyway, Aunt Iris was kidnapped because of me. Now, as long as you send me back, Aunt Iris can come back safely."

Wesley was right. Yuna was really thinking about it just now.

He turned Yuna's face and forced her to look into his eyes. "I'm telling you for the last time, that you're not responsible for Aunt Iris's kidnapping. Rowdy wants to force us to send you back, but we won't meet his wish."

"..." Yuna looked at Wesley and could not say a word.

In the end, Wesley almost gritted his teeth and emphasized word by word. "Don't let me hear you say that you want to trade yourself for Aunt Iris again!"

When Yuna worked undercover by Wesley's side, she often challenged his authority, so she was repeatedly threatened or intimidated by him.

But at that time, she was really not afraid.

Because she knew that Wesley would not hurt her, let alone break her legs.

Perhaps because she had not been lectured by Wesley for a long time, or because Wesley was really angry, she was actually a little afraid this time.

Yuna swallowed and changed the topic. "Let's talk about Aunt Helen..." Her voice was very soft, as if she felt guilty.

Wesley knew what Yuna wanted to ask, and replied coldly, "I went to visit Aunt Helen before I came back. She's fine."

"Oh." Yuna stiffly asked further, "when can Aunt Helen be discharged from the hospital?"

"A few days later." Wesley said, "when her wound is almost healed, Aunt Helen can come back to recuperate."

Yuna looked very confident and well-prepared, saying, "After Aunt Helen is discharged from the hospital, I'll take care of her!"

Since Aunt Helen came to Arlington, she had been taking care of her. She could finally do something for Aunt Helen!

Wesley raised the corner of his mouth and said meaningfully, "Just take care of yourself. Aunt Helen doesn't need your care."

"Wesley." Yuna gazed at Wesley with some depression and asked, "what do you mean?" She always felt that Wesley was implying something else...

Wesley paused for half a second and said, "Yuna, you are an adult now. You should learn to be responsible for yourself and others. You can't even take care of yourself. How can you be confident that you can take care of an injured old person?"

"..."

Yuna finally understood that Wesley was mocking her in the way of advising her not to do so.

The point was that she could not refute it...

Damn!

Wesley ordered, "Go back with me!"

"Oh." Although Yuna was unwilling, she could only follow Wesley back obediently.

A quiet night passed.

The next day, Kai contacted Brian early and said that there was no progress in looking for Iris, and they could not even find out how Rowdy transferred Iris elsewhere.

Naturally, they could not find out where Iris had been transferred.

Brian did not want to hear this answer, but in fact, this answer was within his expectations.

The surveillance system in the old city area was defective. If Rowdy secretly transferred Iris from there, it would be really difficult for them to find clues.

Now, they could only investigate as soon as possible, which might be helpful to find the clues of Iris being transferred. Then, they could follow the clues.

In this way, they did not know how much time it would take.

The most important thing was that no one could guarantee that nothing would happen to Iris during this period.

When Joanne woke up, she saw Brian standing on the balcony with his mobile phone in his hand, with a frown.

There should still be no progress in Iris's matter.

Joanne put on her coat, and she was about to go out when Brian saw her and stepped in the room with the phone in his hand.

Joanne asked, "Is it Kai's call?"

"Yep." After a pause, Brian continued, "There are still no clues about Mom's matter."

"If so, let's continue the investigation." Joanne could only comfort Brian. "We still have time."

Brian nodded, motioning for Joanne to rest assured.

"We're not going to the clubhouse. I'll make breakfast today," Joanne said with a smile, and her peach-blossom eyes looked brighter and more attractive in the morning. "What would you like to eat?"

"Anything you cook is okay." Brian said, "I'll go to see Aiden and Romy."

"Okay, when breakfast is ready, I'll come up to you."

After washing up, Joanne went downstairs and went straight into the kitchen.

At this time, she could only accompany and encourage Brian in this way.

Of course, there was also another way. She had to let Brian promise her one thing later!

Since Iris and Aunt Helen were kidnapped, the kitchen had never been used, so there were many sorts of ingredients in the refrigerator. Joanne looked around the refrigerator and decided to cook seafood porridge.

If she remembered correctly, among her special dishes, seafood porridge was preferred by Brian.

She first put the rice, which had been soaked in water, into the pot. Soon, the pot was boiling. She then added the de-fishy seafood into it. The porridge needed soft fire now. In less than an hour, a pot of seafood porridge was ready.

Joanne wrapped the pot handle with a clean wet towel and took the porridge to the dining room. Then, she returned to wash two bowls. After that, she went upstairs to find Brian.

Brian was still in the children's room, and the two babies had already woken up.

Romy was holding a bottle of milk and sighing as she drank it. She looked as if she were holding a table of sumptuous feast.

It was more troublesome to deal with Aiden.

When the little boy got up on the wrong side of the bed, few people could make him quiet down. Brian held him in his arms, but Aiden was still crying. Brian did not even frown and patiently held the little boy in his arms.

Joanne walked over and took over Martha's job of feeding milk to Romy. She turned her head and looked at Brian. "I'll leave Aiden to you."

Aiden was still crying, but Brian looked at ease. He said calmly, "I can deal with him."

At ordinary times, Aiden was very obedient.

Unfortunately, when the little boy woke up, he was noisy and troublesome to the same extent as he was obedient at ordinary times.

Joanne was both curious and doubtful. She looked at Brian and asked, "Are you so confident?"

Brian said, "He cries like you when you were a child. I can handle you, and of course, I can also handle him."

"..." Brian's serious nonsense was so plausible that Joanne did not know how to refute it.

It turned out that Brian really knew more about Aiden than Joanne did. No matter how sadly the little boy cried at first, he would finally become obedient in his arms.

Soon, the two little kids were full and became obedient as usual. Joanne left them to Martha and then held Brian's hand. "Let's go downstairs for breakfast. I cooked porridge."

The seafood porridge was no longer as hot as it had been when it was first brought out of the pot. With one sip, they could taste the flavor of seafood and rice, as well as the warmth that spread all over the body.

Brian took a sip and looked up, unexpectedly meeting Joanne's expectant eyes.

With the spoon in one hand while her chin in the other hand, Joanne stared at Brian without blinking. "Does it taste good?"

Brian suddenly realized that Joanne cooked the porridge for some purposes.

She had always been very confident in her cooking skills, and she had never asked him such a question.

In addition to giving him strength, she probably had other purposes.

Brian slowly took another sip of the porridge. "It tastes good. But what do you want to tell me?"

"You see?" Joanne suddenly looked calm. "In that case, I will also be frank. I want to help you run the company."

Brian did not expect Joanne to talk about this. He was surprised for a moment, then put down the spoon, and looked at Joanne seriously. "Why do you suddenly want to help me?"

"I'm afraid you can't handle it," Joanne said, "Gavin is in hospital and Mom is in trouble. You have to deal with the company's affairs plus Mom's affairs, so you must be very tired. If I go to the company, I can help you."

"Have you ever thought about Aiden and Romy?" Brian knew that Joanne was worried about the two babies the most, so he asked directly, "Who will take care of them?"

Joanne stared at Brian for a few seconds and shook her head. "Mr. Lambert, don't look down upon me. Since I told you about this decision, it means that I have no scruples!"

Brian motioned for Joanne to continue.

He was curious about how Joanne was going to settle down the two babies so as to go to work at ease.
