In the bathroom.
"Yuna?"
Yuna was too familiar with that voice. It was Wesley.
Why did he choose to come back at this moment?
For a moment, Yuna's mind went blank as if her brain were emptied of memories.
Fortunately, she realized in time that she had to throw away the bottle in her hand.
Otherwise, she could not explain it to Wesley.
Yuna looked around. The trash can was undoubtedly the best choice.
However, Wesley would probably see it after he came in.
At the last moment, Yuna saw the cabinet high above her.
If she placed the bottle on it, Wesley should not be able to find it for the time being.
Yuna raised her hand, and was about to place the bottle on it when a familiar figure appeared at the door.
Wesley clearly heard the flush of a toilet, but the bathroom door was open, which meant that it was not inconvenient for Yuna to reply to him.
Confused, Wesley walked in and saw Yuna raise her hand and be about to put something on the cabinet.
What was it in Yuna's hand?
Feeling Wesley's gaze, Yuna was hit by a piercing chill, which then spread all over her body in an instant.
She subconsciously withdrew her hand and hid it behind her back, looking at Wesley in panic.
Wesley's face clouded, and he asked, "What's it in your hand?"
Yuna held the small medicine bottle tightly and shook her head. "Nothing. Wesley, don't come near me..."
Wesley immediately felt that something was wrong.
Every time he found out Yuna's secrets, she would panic, but she would always find a way to cover it up. She had never directly told him not to go near her.
Yuna obviously blurted out the sentence "don't come near me" without using her brain. She subconsciously said it in a total panic.
What was it in her hand? Why did it make her lose her mind like this?
Wesley narrowed his eyes and kept approaching Yuna, instead of standing in situ.
Wesley was born with aggression and oppression. Coupled with the sullen look on his face, Yuna immediately felt that her breathing was affected.
Yuna's palm was sweaty, and she subconsciously stepped back.
The bathroom covered an area of only seven or eight square meters. After Yuna took a few steps back, there was no way back. She could only stand in situ and stare at Wesley blankly, with her face turning pale little by little.
At this point, no matter what she chose to do, things would get worse.
Wesley knew Yuna well. Judging from her look, he could see that she must be hiding something from him, and that must be no small thing.
Yuna had been back for so long and also promised to marry him. What else did she have to hide from him?
Finally, Wesley stopped in front of Yuna and looked at her coldly. "Show me the thing in your hand."
"No," Yuna said in a light voice as if she was too weak to speak, "Wesley, don't look."
"What can't you show me?"
With that, Wesley pulled Yuna's hand.
In terms of strength, Yuna was no match for him, and she generally did not struggle.
But today, Yuna seemed to be trying her best to fight against him.
Wesley vaguely felt that once he knew what Yuna was holding, everything would change, and his world would also be turned upside down.
However, if Yuna was really hiding something from him, he could not stand it.
Wesley pulled Yuna's hand hard again and took what she was holding tightly in her hand.
It was a white medicine bottle and got wet. It should be soaked by Yuna's cold sweat.
Wesley frowned and asked, "What kind of medicine is this?"
"..." Yuna did not speak.
Wesley observed that the bottle was empty, and his frown got deeper. "If I remember correctly, the doctor told you not to take medicine recklessly. Have you taken this bottle of medicine?"
"I..." Yuna suddenly felt guilty, and her next words turned into smoke and dissipated in the air.
Wesley suppressed the terrible feeling, took out his mobile phone, entered the name of the medicine, and clicked to search.
Mifepristone & Misoprostol, were used for...
The word "abortion" pierced into Wesley's eyes like a sharp knife.
For a moment, Wesley thought that he was hallucinating, or all this was a dream.
In reality, he did not rush back. Instead, he was resting in the apartment in the downtown area. Also, Yuna was not in the bathroom but was unwilling to get up from the bed as usual instead.
The empty bottle of Mifepristone & Misoprostol pills was just a picture in his dream.
Everything was just a dream.
But in fact, the surrounding temperature and Yuna's look of panic were real.
In fact, everything was cruelly telling Wesley that it was not a dream. It was true that Yuna really took the pills.
Wesley was almost going to crumble the medicine bottle. In a rage, he grabbed Yuna's hand and asked, "Where did you get the medicine?"
"Wesley," said Yuna almost pleadingly, "don't ask, please."
If she told Wesley where she had obtained the medicine, the blood clot in her brain would be exposed.
Once he knew about her illness, Wesley would definitely not choose to protect the child. Instead, he would risk keeping her safe.
However, the professor said that the surgery was hardly likely to succeed, and that she was hardly likely to survive. Also, the remote chance of her survival even could only be taken by killing her child.
The most important thing was that even if the surgery was successful, there would be after-effects.
She would probably lose her sight or become a vegetative patient after the surgery.
With such a great risk, why didn't she let her healthy child come to this world as her life's continuance?
She could let Wesley know about the blood clot in her brain, so Wesley had better not ask anything.
Wesley misunderstood Yuna's evasion as a guilty conscience. His face clouded even more, and his voice was freezing cold. "Yuna, even if you don't say it, I know where you got it."
"..." Yuna looked at Wesley with surprise in her eyes.
Wesley suddenly tightened his grip on Yuna's hand and almost broke her hand. "After finding yourself pregnant, you bought this bottle of medicine, didn't you? Yuna, you don't want this child at all!"
Yuna was already cold, and when Wesley said the last sentence, she felt that she was even covered with a thick layer of ice. She was trapped in a world of ice and snow, and the ice almost pierced into her bones.
She shook her head, and before she could deny it, Wesley continued to ask, "Did you take the medicine? Answer me!"
Wesley almost shouted the last sentence out. In great anger, his momentum was enough to deter everyone within a few kilometers from speaking.
When Yuna worked undercover around him, she had provoked Wesley and been shouted at by him.
But, it was not until this moment that Yuna realized that Wesley had never been really angry before.
Now, Wesley's eyes seemed to be burning with anger, and the strength of his hand was strong enough to crush anything. His whole body was exuding a killing intent that could destroy the world. Even Kai, who had a good relationship with him, might not dare to approach him at this moment.
"Wesley..." Yuna shook her head and said, "I didn't..."
Before Yuna finished speaking, Wesley had pulled her downstairs.
Wesley was in a hurry, and Yuna could not keep up with him at all. She could only gasp and ask, "Wesley, where are you taking me?"
If Wesley replied that he was going to throw her off the mountaintop, Yuna would not doubt it.
Wesley was extremely angry. He could do anything.
Kai happened to return to the door of the villa and see Wesley pulling Yuna out.
He had been in Arlington for so many days and been busy with Iris's incident. Even he had to keep an eye on something while eating.
Unfortunately, little progress was made, so he went back to the top of the mountain and wanted to discuss it all over again with Wesley.
Kai had been working for Wesley for so many years, so even if he was at a distance from Wesley, he could tell at a glance that there was something wrong with Wesley.
"Brother Wesley," Kai asked, "what's wrong?"
Wesley's face clouded. "Tell Clark to get ready."
Clark was Brian's pilot. Since Wesley asked Clark to get ready, did he want to take a flight?
Kai could tell that Wesley did not want to wait any longer. He ignored Yuna, who was being pulled by Wesley, and turned around to call Clark and asked him to prepare for a flight.
After hanging up the phone, Kai asked someone to drive the car over.
Wesley opened the door and directly pushed Yuna in.
Yuna fell heavily on the seat and looked at Wesley. "Are you going to take me to the hospital?"
Wesley made no reply, but only ordered the driver, "Drive!"
Yuna was basically sure that Wesley was going to take her to the hospital for a checkup.
She breathed a sigh of relief and slowly calmed down, no longer panicking or worried.
Wesley asked her where she got the medicine and even suspected that she had taken the medicine. She could not explain it, but after she went to the hospital, the doctor could find that their child was fine.
The doctor could prove to Wesley for her that she did not hurt their child.
In this way, as long as she admitted that she bought the medicine when she found herself pregnant, she would probably be scolded by Wesley at most.
When Wesley calmed down, she would apologize to him, explaining that she had regretted it and flushed the pills down the toilet.
She was a pregnant woman, and she did not believe that Wesley could do anything to her.
In this way, the existence of the blood clot could be successfully concealed.
As long as she could hide the blood clot from him, Yuna did not care about whatever she would suffer.
At the helistop, Yuna calmly got on the helicopter, sat down and fastened her seat belt.
Wesley glanced at Yuna and said in a cold voice, "Yuna, you'd better stay calm after arriving at the hospital."
Yuna looked into Wesley's eyes and argued, "You don't have to worry about it."
Wesley sneered and said, "Yuna, are you going to throw caution to the winds?"
"..." Yuna failed to immediately understand what Wesley meant.
Wesley snorted and said, "You'd better pray that the child is fine."
"There's no need to pray," Yuna said, "and I know very well how my child is!"
Her child would definitely be fine!
After all, it was the result of the checkup she had gone through in the private hospital.
What she needed to think about now was how to explain to Wesley about her buying the medicine...
