Chapter 920 Telling Rowdy the Truth

"Emily," Yuna walked over, squatted down, and said to Emily, "Uncle Milo is going to send Granny Iris to the hospital."

Emily quickly stepped aside. He grabbed Yuna in surprise and joy and asked, "Really? Can Granny Iris go to the doctor?"

"Yes," Yuna nodded. She looked at Emily and said, "I have something to tell you. Listen to me carefully."

"Okay!" Emily looked very serious, "I'm listening, Auntie Yuna. "

"Go to the hospital with Milo. You must make sure that he finds a doctor to check on Granny Iris's condition. Then, do you know what to do?" Yuna asked.

"Yes!" Emily's eyes lit up, "I should inform Uncle Hayes and ask him to take Granny Iris back. In this way, she will be safe!"

"That's right," Yuna stroked Emily's hair encouragingly, "Okay, go with Uncle Milo."

But Emily didn't move. He lowered his head and his eyes lost a bit of their sparkle.

Yuna asked in confusion, "Emily, what's wrong?"

They had made a deal just now. Why was he suddenly unwilling to do it?

After a while, Emily responded cautiously, "Auntie Yuna, after sending Granny Iris to the hospital, I'll never see her again, right?"

He never saw Aunt Helen again after sending her to the hospital.

Yuna then realized why the little guy was not willing to take any action. Instead, he could scarcely bear to part with Iris.

Emily had been accompanying Iris in the past few days. So they should have some affection for each other, shouldn't they?

Yuna understood Emily's feelings, but she had to tell him the truth.

"Emily," Yuna said, "Granny Iris doesn't live here. Even if we don't send her to the hospital, Uncle Lambert will take her home. And she is not comfortable now. If she goes home, Auntie Joanne will take good care of her."

When he heard Yuna's words, Emily asked, "Will Granny Iris get better then?"

"Of course," Yuna said firmly, "As long as she goes home, she will recover and will be back to her normal self."

Emily twisted the corner of his clothes and suddenly asked, "Auntie Yuna, has Granny Helen recovered now? Is she all right?"

Yuna was very surprised. She really didn't expect that this little guy still remembered Aunt Helen's injury and hospitalization.

Fortunately, Wesley would tell her about Aunt Helen's condition after he returned home these days.

Yuna patted Emily's head and answered, "Granny Helen is recovering. She can leave the hospital in a few days."

"Then... what about you?" Emily looked at Yuna with uncertainty, "Auntie Yuna, will you go back to Uncle Hayes's house?"

"No," Yuna said, "I will wait here for you to come back after you send Granny Iris to the hospital."

Emily's little face was full of hesitation as if he wanted to be happy but couldn't. He stared at Yuna's belly and asked, "But, if Uncle Hayes doesn't accompany the baby, will the baby be sad?"

"The baby will understand," Yuna urged the little guy, "Granny Iris is very uncomfortable now. Take her to the hospital first. Good boy."

Emily nodded and called Milo. His voice was full of authority as he said, "Uncle Milo, you can take Granny Iris to the hospital now."

Milo then instructed his subordinates, "Carry the old lady."

"Yuna," Iris was very weak, but she still wanted to say something to Yuna, "You..."

Yuna shook her head and gestured to Iris, saying, "Aunt Iris, don't say anything more. Wesley and I won't have a happy ending. I won't stay with him nor give birth to his child. If he had not trapped me with his snare, I would have come back long ago, and you and Auntie Zhou wouldn't have suffered at all."

"I'm okay. Aunt Helen won't blame you, either. It's all Rowdy's fault. You must understand this," the more Iris said, the more she couldn't understand, "Yuna, how can you..."

The child was gradually forming into a small creature in Yuna's belly.

How could she be so cruel as to abort the baby?

No matter how ruthless a woman was, she would be soft-hearted to her child.

Yuna knew what Iris wanted to say, so she interrupted her and ordered Milo, "Quick, take Aunt Iris to the hospital now."

The group of people moved quickly. Emily also ran out with his long legs.

Yuna breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed on the bed in the room.

Ninety percent of what she said to Iris were lies.

She couldn't explain it to Iris clearly.

There would surely be surveillance cameras hidden somewhere in this room. Rowdy must be watching her through the monitors and could hear her conversation with Iris clearly. That was why he didn't follow her upstairs.

Once she explained the cause and effect to Iris, her secret would be exposed.

In this way, not only Iris but she would also die.

After a while, Rowdy went upstairs, pushed the door open, and went straight to Yuna. He said in a cold voice, "We have sent Mrs. Tang to the hospital. Emily has gone with her. Are you relieved?"

"..." Yuna didn't speak.

"Now, can you tell me the truth?" Rowdy asked, "How did you come back? I don't believe Wesley would let you go so easily."

Yuna suddenly stood up and glared at Rowdy.

Rowdy was startled by her response.

For a moment, he even felt overwhelmed by Yuna.

What did she want to do?

Yuna glared at Rowdy and said, "I should be the one asking about the truth."

Rowdy narrowed his eyes and responded, "Yuna, what do you mean?"

Yuna grabbed Rowdy's collar and stared at him with blazing eyes. She asked, "Do you know what Wesley told me after he captured me?"

Rowdy had a nasty feeling, but he still asked rhetorically, "What?"

"He told me that you are the murderer who killed my grandma," Yuna's eyes were filled with incredulous shock, "Rowdy, tell me this is not true."

Rowdy looked straight into Yuna's eyes and said, "Why don't you doubt Wesley? He knew you were pregnant. So it was very likely that he turned the facts around in order that you would give birth to the child."

"Do you think I didn't consider this possibility?" Yuna suddenly raised her voice, "So I'm asking you is what Wesley said true?"

"No," Rowdy firmly denied it, "Wesley was lying."

Yuna loosened her hold on Rowdy's collar and said with uncertainty, "Who should I believe between you and Wesley?" She looked at Rowdy with less confidence than before.

"If you want to know, it's actually very simple to figure it out," Rowdy said, "You saw the evidence of Wesley killing your grandma back then. Now Wesley is trying to slander me. Did he show you any evidence?"

"... No."

The angry expression on Yuna's face suddenly disappeared. There was no emotion in her eyes, only confusion left.

Seeing Yuna begin to waver, Rowdy seized the opportunity to continue, "Yuna, you have been with me for so many years. I know very well how important grandma was to you. How could I hurt her?"

"So, did Wesley really kill my grandma?" Yuna still looked uncertain while saying this.

"Of course it was him," Rowdy said seriously, "He also knew how much your grandma meant to you. However, he had fallen in love with you when he found out you were a spy. Since he couldn't bear to kill you with his own hands, he could only hurt your grandma to vent his anger.

"Now you are pregnant with his child. He wanted you to give birth to the child and stay with him. That's why he made me a scapegoat. Yuna, I have told you long ago that Wesley is more cunning than you think."

"..."

Seeing that Yuna didn't respond, Rowdy continued, "Yuna, think about it carefully. What would I benefit from killing your grandma?"

Yuna looked at Rowdy as if she had been enlightened. Her eyes showed no confusion anymore and her look was as calm as usual.

Rowdy breathed a sigh of relief.

He was too familiar with Yuna's temperament. It meant that he had managed to convince her successfully.

It seemed that Wesley didn't show any evidence to Yuna that Rowdy had killed her grandma.

Even if Wesley gave the evidence, he could also explain that it had been forged by Wesley.

"Well, Yuna, it's time to tell me how you came back," Rowdy asked, "Did Wesley embarrass you?"

Yuna's face darkened. She said, "I want to tell you something."

In Rowdy's impression, Yuna had always been optimistic and confident. Even if she encountered any problems, she would roll up her sleeves to solve them rather than frown.

Such an expression had never appeared on her face.

Rowdy suddenly had a sense of foreboding. He asked, "Yuna, what happened?"

"When I worked undercover for Wesley, I was involved in a car accident," Yuna said slowly, "That car accident had a severe impact on my head, which caused serious sequela."

Rowdy's pupils contracted sharply. "What sequela?!"

Yuna closed her eyes and paused for a long time before she continued, "Now, there are two blood clots in my brain, which are in very perilous positions. They are constricting my nerves and I can die at any time."

Rowdy felt like he had been punched on the chest. He suddenly grabbed Yuna's hand and said, "Yuna, don't be afraid. I'll take you to the doctor, the best doctor! If the doctors in our Canadaan't do anything about it, I can let you be treated abroad. I'll definitely find a doctor to cure you!"

Yuna was not touched by Rowdy's words. She looked at him and said, "Calm down first and listen to me."

Rowdy's intuition told him that what Yuna was going to tell him next would be worse news.

He didn't want to hear it.

However, Yuna had to say it.

The following statements were the most important, which would decide whether she could gain Rowdy's trust.
