Chapter 933 No Need to Go Down, and the Room is Not Bad (2)

Joanne swore that she was talking about real breakfast.

What was Brian thinking about?

Before Joanne reacted, Brian had already kissed her lips fiercely. He put his hands on the things which he had wildly explored and enjoyed, and repeated tightening and then loosening his grip.

She really wanted to remind Brian that if he kept doing this so forcefully, the breakfast for Aiden and Romy would be gone!

She did not expect Brian to be such a father!

Before Joanne protested, there was a rapid knock on the door. Martha's anxious voice came from the intercom at the head of the bed. "Sir, Madam, are you awake? Aiden is crying very hard and refuses to drink milk. I have no choice but to carry him to you..."

The small villa was constructed to be excellent in sound insulation.

Therefore, each room was equipped with an intercom. As long as the person outside the door pressed the call button, the person inside could hear the voice.

However, unless the person inside also pressed the call button, the sound inside the room could not be heard by persons outside.

Only then did Brian realize that the intercom system was a powerful weapon to break the romantic mood.

It had no practical use!

If possible, the intercom would argue that it was just an innocent door phone and that it was obviously Aiden who broke the romantic mood.

It was not Joanne's guilty pleasure to laugh at Brian in such a situation, but seeing his clouded face, she still unkindly laughed. She pushed Brian and said, "Get me my clothes and carry Aiden in."

Although Brian was still "hungry", he had to care about his son.

He got up, took a nightgown for Joanne, and put on his own clothes. He walked to the door and made it half-open.

Martha looked embarrassed while holding Aiden in her arms. "Mr. Lambert, the little guy cries so hard. Did I disturb you and Mrs. Lambert?"

"No, we just woke up." Brian held his son in his arms. "Leave Aiden to me. You take care of Romy."

"Okay, okay." Martha took a long breath and quickly returned to the children's room.

Brian held Aiden with one hand, who was still crying. The little boy looked so sad and aggrieved that Brian could not get angry at all, and he carried him back to the room and handed him to Joanne.

Joanne coaxed the little boy while feeding him breast milk.

Maybe because he was hungry, Aiden soon quieted down after having breast milk. From time to time, he sighed with satisfaction and behaved obediently and lovely again.

Brian stood aside and snorted coldly.

After turning Aiden upside down, Joanne continued to feed him. She looked at Brian in confusion and asked, "What's wrong?"

Brian rubbed Aiden's little face and said with dissatisfaction, "We never get up on the wrong side of the bed, but our son does. Why?"

Would a boy with such a bad temper when he woke up scare his wife away?

Joanne took a deep look at Brian. "Mr. Lambert, you're jealous, aren't you?"

Brian did not speak.

He was indeed jealous.

If it weren't for the sudden trouble caused by Aiden, he should be the one who was enjoying himself!

"Childish!" Joanne couldn't help complaining. "I'm sure that there are not many fathers like you in the world!"

Brian smiled, and his calm tone could not hide his arrogance. "There are not many good-looking men, and only some of them are still good-looking when they become fathers!"

The implication was that there were indeed not many fathers like him in the world.

"..."

Joanne was speechless for a while.

She was not talking about good-looking fathers. How did Brian talk about appearance?

But when it came to the appearance, Brian did win. No one could do anything about it. After all, he was born with a good appearance.

When Aiden was full, Joanne's distending pain was mitigated. She handed her son to Brian and went into the bathroom to wash up.

There was a big mirror in the bathroom, which reflected Joanne's figure. She saw that her neck and collarbones were covered with ambiguous red marks.

She pulled up her nightgown to cover the red marks and tried not to think of the scenes last night. She turned on the electric toothbrush and began to brush her teeth.

After breakfast, Freya packed up and went to find Joanne, only to find that Joanne had just started to eat breakfast while Brian was said to be coaxing his daughter upstairs.

Freya was surprised. "Joanne, did you get up late?"

Joanne replied, "... Yep."

"Oh-" Freya drawled. "I understand."

"Ahem, help me take care of Aiden. I'll go upstairs and pack up."

After that, Joanne went upstairs as if she were escaping, and came across Brian who had just come out of the room.

Brian caught Joanne, who bumped into his arms, and absorbed the impact force. He asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Joanne said with her head down, "let's pack up."

Brian brought only a few belongings here, including his clothes, daily necessities, as well as a laptop he used for work, which was thin, portable, and light-weight.

Joanne was different. In addition to clothes, she also had bottles and cans for different purposes, scarves, and shoes of various styles. It took her two big suitcases to contain her belongings.

The two babies also had a lot to pack up, but their belongings were small-sized. A suitcase was enough to hold their belongings plus Brian's.

Joanne defeated the other three together.

She couldn't help feeling a little guilty.

Brian pulled a suitcase in each hand and called Joanne. "Let's go."

"There's still a suitcase," Joanne said, "and I'll take it."

"No, I'll ask Simon to take it later." Brian hung Joanne's bag on her arm. "Follow me."

Before marrying Brian, no matter how heavy her luggage was, Joanne used to carry it herself when she went abroad, returned to the country, and went on long or short trips.

But after she married Brian, he would play his role as her husband and put everything in order, and she always just needed to carry her small bag and follow him.

Therefore, she had completely become a frail woman now.

Well, she was just, as was often said, a "spoiled" woman, right?

After they went downstairs, the bodyguards took the suitcases. Brian and Joanne each carried a baby and left the small villa.

Martha carried some small things and sighed after she stepped out. "Everything here is like a dream."

Aunt Helen and Iris were kidnapped and tortured, and Yuna came back and left. If possible, Joanne also hoped that everything here was just a long dream.

If so, Wesley would not lose his child.

However, the tragedy that had already happened could no longer be changed.

Before getting in the car, Freya said, "Chris and I will go to the hospital to see Aunt Iris. Joanne, what about you?"

Joanne looked at Brian and said, "Let's take Aiden and Romy to the hospital. Mom misses them very much."

Brian agreed with a "hmm" and told Winston to go to the hospital first.

In the private hospital.

After being kidnapped by Rowdy, Iris had never had a good rest for so many days.

After she came back, she was in a much more comfortable environment. In addition, she was injured. So, she woke up after 10 o'clock today. After she ate something, the nurse called in and told her that Brian and Joanne had arrived at the hospital with the two babies.

Since Brian transferred Joanne to the top of the mountain, Iris had never seen the two babies again. Iris was naturally very happy to see them now. She held Romy in her arms, who did not feel unfamiliar with her at all. The little girl intimately snuggled into her arms and grabbed her clothes, babbling. No one knew what she wanted to say.

Wendy also ran downstairs when she heard that Aiden and Romy came to the hospital. The ward immediately became lively.

Brian saw that there were so many people to take care of the two babies, so he whispered to Joanne, "I'm going upstairs to discuss something with Gavin."

"Okay." Joanne nodded. "Ask Gavin to come downstairs for lunch later."

Brian wrapped his arms around Joanne's waist, kissed her on the forehead, and quietly left Iris's ward to find Gavin.

Gavin was in good spirits, lying on the hospital bed and reading a business plan.

After Brian came in, he said directly, "I plan to let Joanne continue to prepare for your wedding with Wendy."

"Is that proper for me to prepare for the wedding after Wesley's incident?" Gavin hesitated. "Besides, you must be very busy these days. My wedding is not urgent. Let's take it easy."

"You can wait, but Wendy probably won't agree." After a pause, Brian continued, "As for Wesley, we'd better pretend that nothing happened."

Gavin was confused and asked, "Why?"

"Don't you know Wesley?" Brian said, "When he went back, he pretended that nothing had happened, and he looked neither happy nor sad. In the future, unless he takes the initiative to mention Yuna, we'd better not mention her."

Yuna deceived Wesley again and even killed his child.

This time, Wesley really hated Yuna.

For others, their lovers were their own red roses, white roses, or cinnabar moles in their hearts.

However, Yuna had weirdly become a bomb in Wesley's heart.

Anyone mentioning Yuna in front of Wesley was actually detonating a bomb, and even if the one was not blown to pieces, she or he must pay a heavy price.

Gavin tutted and said, "Poor Wesley."

Brian said, "I feel more sorry for the child." If Yuna weren't so cruel, the child could come to this world.

"You are indeed a father." Gavin teased Brian. "Your focus is different."

"If everything goes well, you are not far from being a father." Brian kindly "reminded" Gavin. "So, don't say it so early."

"Even if everything goes well, Wendy and I won't have a child too soon." Then, Gavin raised his eyebrows and said, "For a long time to come, I will be a good young man without children. I'm not interested in being a new father."

Brian smiled and said, "How do you think Wendy will respond to your words if I tell her what you said?"

"Hey, no!" Gavin surrendered at once. "Again, I am a good young man with a fiancee. Is that okay?"

Brian checked the time and said, "Let's go downstairs and have lunch together."

"Joanne told you to invite me to have lunch, didn't she?" Gavin glanced at Brian with disdain. "I know it from your look!"

Brian asked, "Any difference?"

"Of course," Gavin said, "you are too obedient to your wife!"

Brian thought for a moment and gave Gavin a sympathetic look. "Don't be too envious. If Wendy doesn't go back on her word, you will have a wife soon."

Gavin,"..." "I'm not envious of you at all!"
