Chapter 939 Wanted to Kill Her

As Yuna found it was time to leave, she stood up and said, "Dr. Roberts, I'm gonna go."

"Okay," Dr. Roberts said, "Miss Wallace, it's a miracle that your child can survive. You must be careful when you go back."

"I know." After a pause, Yuna asked, "If Mr. Kent asks about it, do you know how to reply?"

"Don't worry, I know," Dr. Roberts said, "all the examinations you've done are not recorded. Mr. Kent won't find out anything about it. And if he asks me, I'll tell him your condition is stable at present, but we can't do anything to the child. Otherwise, you will be in danger."

Only in this way could she scare Rowdy and make him give up the idea of aborting Yuna's baby.

Yuna breathed a sigh of relief, saying, "Dr. Roberts, I really need you to say that. Only in this way can we survive."

"Miss Wallace," Dr. Roberts added, "I still want to remind you that your situation is actually not stable. If you want to keep the child, you'll put yourself in great danger. And Mr. Kent will definitely find other doctors for you. How long can you hide the truth?"

"I have a plan. Don't worry about it," Yuna said, "Dr. Roberts, I won't get you involved. I promise."

Dr. Roberts trusted Yuna. "Be careful," she warned.

Yuna replied an "Okay" and left the office.

Emily was sitting on the chair in the corridor, swaying his long legs in boredom. He lowered his head, thinking about something that others wouldn't know. "Emily," Yuna called him.

Hearing that, the little guy subconsciously looked in the direction of the voice and saw Yuna coming out. He slid down the chair and ran over. "Auntie Yuna, you've finished examining," he said.

"Yeah," Yuna smiled and said, "finished."

"Then... are you and the baby okay?" Emily blinked his eyes and asked, "what did the doctor say?"

"Don't worry, both of us are very good," Yuna said in a soft tone. Even her eyebrows revealed her happiness.

Emily's eyes lit up. He jumped on the spot and whooped, "Yes! I'll be the big brother!"

Yuna smiled more brightly.

Yes, that was great.

She took Emily's hand and said, "Let's go home."

As soon as Yuna left, Rowdy's subordinate entered Dr. Roberts's office.

Yuna noticed that person and she guessed that he wanted to know the result of her examination.

She believed Dr. Roberts would not tell the truth, because Dr. Roberts had no choice.

The doctor had cooperated with Yuna to lie to Rowdy several times. If at this time, she told Rowdy that all her previous words were falsehoods, she would not see the sun tomorrow judging from Rowdy's temper.

But Yuna was different. She was not interested in Dr. Roberts's life. Cooperating with Yuna would help Dr. Roberts keep herself alive.

Those who could become doctors were all smart people. She believed Dr. Roberts would make the right choice.

When Yuna arrived at Rowdy' house with Emily, Rowdy had just come back.

He asked, "Yuna, what's the result?"

Yuna glanced at Rowdy and directly exposed him, "Didn't someone already report to you?"

Rowdy's eyes darkened. Yuna had always been smart. It was not surprising that she had found out someone was sent to investigate her medical records.

However, what did she want to do by unmasking him so directly?

Rowdy said with his face turning cold, "Yuna!"

He always felt that Yuna had changed after she came back this time.

She was the Simon Yuna with whom he was familiar.

Maybe losing her child was a cruel blow to Yuna that she turned back to her original self. Or there were some other reasons.

"Don't get me wrong. I'm not unhappy. I can even understand why you did this," Yuna smiled and explained, "if I were you, I would also send someone to check the examination result. So, calm down. It's nothing strange. I can accept it."

Yuna used to be like that.

She could see through everything, and she would talk straight. Her forthright manner would cause others' suspicion, but at the same time, her sincerity also won their trust.

Her words clearly indicated that she knew Rowdy was still doubting her, but she didn't mind. She could even understand Rowdy.

Rowdy didn't know whether she was too confident or too good at acting.

"Yuna, I did send someone to ask about the exam result, and I was really afraid that you would hide something from me," Rowdy seemed to warn her, "so, you'd better tell me the truth."

Emily suddenly pulled the hem of Yuna's clothes and asked, "Auntie Yuna, daddy, are you quarreling?"

Rowdy called Milo and ordered, "Take Emily back to his room."

Emily pursed his lips and wanted to protest. Yuna gave him a look, showing him to be quiet, which made the little fellow calm down and follow Milo upstairs.

Yuna looked at Rowdy and found him an excuse. "Well, I know you were worrying about me," she said.

"..."

Rowdy did not speak.

Yuna didn't care and continued, "In fact, you don't have to worry that I won't tell you the truth. At first, I did plan to conceal my disease from everyone because I didn't want you to pity me. But since I've told you my condition, I won't lie to you anymore."

Rowdy couldn't keep up with Yuna's thoughts for a while.

Did Yuna think he was caring about her instead of doubting her?

Anyway, Rowdy decided to follow Yuna's words and said, "The person who went with you has told me the result. It's not optimistic."

"Tsk, you've never been ill," Yuna corrected him, "since my condition hasn't got worse, it's very optimistic, sir!"

Yuna smiled like a flower as if the sick person was not her. Her optimism look made Rowdy feel hurt in his heart.

"Does a sick person have no right to pursue anything?"

Rowdy held Yuna's hand tightly and said, "I'm finding doctors for you. The expert team will come to Arlington soon. Yuna, no matter how much it will cost, I'm willing to give all my have as long as you get better."

Yuna's heart did a flip.

Once Rowdy found other doctors, the fact that her child was still alive would be exposed.

If so, not only would the child be in danger, but she would also lose Rowdy's trust.

Before other doctors came, she must get rid of Rowdy!

Only in this way could she and her child have a chance to live.

"Yuna," Rowdy called Yuna, "what are you thinking about?"

Yuna said in a light voice, "In fact, if I die accidentally, I'll have no regrets as long as I have avenged my grandma on Wesley."

"Nonsense!" Rowdy interrupted Yuna, "you want to abandon Emily and me? Even if you have no attachment to me, what about Emily? Don't you consider him?

"Yuna, Emily lost her mother when he was very young. You want him to lose you too?"

"..."

Yuna was speechless for a moment.

Emily, the adorable little kid, would be her eternal regret.

The little guy liked her now, but after knowing the feud between her and Rowdy, he would probably feel nothing but hatred for her.

But it didn't matter. She wouldn't live long after Rowdy died.

Hopefully, her death could ease Emily's hatred for her.

"I'm sorry," Yuna lowered her head and said, "I will cooperate with the doctors. Actually... I want to live."

Yuna's eyes turned slightly red.

She was telling the truth.

If God allowed it, even if she couldn't stay with Wesley, she hoped to accompany her child to grow up, watching him live a happy life.

She really wanted to live.

Rowdy heard the eagerness and nervousness in Yuna's voice. He suddenly realized that Yuna was a sick person and of course, she wished to live.

His reproach was completely unreasonable and cruel.

"I'm the one who should be sorry," Rowdy held Yuna in his arms, "Yuna, don't worry. I'll find a way to keep you alive."

When Yuna upstairs, she found Emily was sitting on the stair, resting his chin in both hands and looking at her thoughtfully.

She stroked the little guy's hair and sat side by side with him, asking, "Why don't you go back to your room?"

Emily answered, "I saw you hugging daddy."

"So?" Yuna responded calmly.

"Will you marry daddy?" asked Emily.

Yuna was a little surprised that Emily would ask this question. She looked at him and asked, "Do you want us to get married?"

"If you marry daddy, you'll be my mommy. You'll live with me forever. I'll be very happy."

"But the baby won't be happy."

Emily's voice lowered on the last words, showing some disappointment.

Yuna felt it was fun. She asked, "How did you know the baby would be unhappy?"

"Because Uncle Hayes is his father. He should want to live with his father," Emily paused for a moment and then continued, "and Auntie Yuna, you also like living with Uncle Hayes, don't you?"

Yuna was stunned, with a thought flashed through her mind-this little guy knew too much.

She took Emily back to the room, asking, "Why do you think so?"

"Because you were happier with Uncle Hayes," Emily smiled mischievously, "don't worry, I won't tell daddy. He looked horrible when he was jealous!"

Yuna didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

However, was she that happy when stayed with Wesley? So happy that even a five-year-old child could notice it?

"One more thing," Emily waved his index finger, "Uncle Hayes was also very happy!"

"... really?"

Yuna was in a trance.

When they stayed together, both she and Wesley were very happy.

But now?

If she heard it correctly, Wesley had taken Aunt Helen back to Glasgow.

How was he after returning?

Would he think of her?

Maybe.

Wesley thought that she had killed the baby. He hated her so much that he wanted to shoot her. When he thought of her, his handsome face must be full of murderous expression.

Emily touched Yuna's face and asked, "Auntie Yuna, will you cry again?"

Yuna closed her eyes to hold back her tears. She began to play games with Emily, which could help her stop thinking about Wesley...
