Chapter 116 Her Worries

Since she had decided to do one thing, she would naturally do her best.

Sierra Moore was such a person. After hanging up the phone, she no longer hesitated. She turned back to the conference room and signed the contract.

After that, there was a series of communication on details, as well as the decisions on the costume and filming time.

On the first day of filming, Sierra Moore was very nervous. After changing her clothes, she sat in front of the dressing table and put on makeup.

These staffs were all very professional. It was already half an hour later after she finished putting on makeup and getting her hair done.

Because it was the first day of filming, and it was the first time for Sierra Moore to be a model, her expressions and body movements were very stiff, and during the whole day, the photographer kept asking her to stop!

The more it was like this, the more nervous Sierra Moore became. In the end, she didn't even finish filming a series.

The photographer, who was shocked by her performance, called it a day early. Anyway, it was a waste of time to stay. It was better to finish the work early and continue the rest tomorrow.

When Sierra Moore came out of the studio, the evening lights outside were lit and night fell.

Sierra Moore, who was a little depressed, was the last to come out after removing her makeup. Coincidentally, she met Avery Yates at the entrance.

Beauty Nate had a job today. She happened to be shooting a magazine cover in the studio next to Sierra Moore. Originally, she only felt that it was too stuffy inside to breathe. She did not expect to meet Sierra Moore here.

Slightly shocked, the beauty came over to greet her and said with an easy-going smile right away, "Miss Moore, I didn't expect to meet you here."

Sierra Moore also smiled at her, but that smile looked awkward no matter how you looked at it. "Nates! What a coincidence."

As the small talk went back and forth, they did not know what to say. Sierra Moore smiled awkwardly and said, "If there is nothing else, Miss Nate, I will leave first. Goodbye!"

"Wait a minute," Avery Yates called out from behind her.

Sierra Moore turned around in surprise, not knowing what Avery Yates was trying to do.

Avery Yates was wearing a long black down jacket, inside which was a set of costumes for shooting.

Her facial features were very beautiful, and the makeup on her face was always so meticulous. Every time people saw her, they felt excited by her beauty.

It was this person who slowly walked up to Sierra Moore. The pride in her eyes burned as she looked into Sierra Moore's eyes and said calmly, "I think you should know that I like Nate and I love him. I will not quit."

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "What did she mean?"

Sierra Moore stared at her blankly for a while. Then, under the overbearing gaze of the other party, she gently nodded and said, "Oh!"

Her reaction surprised Avery Yates, who thought that she would make a big fuss or warn her to stay away from Nathan Shaw. She did not expect Sierra Moore's reaction to being so dull.

Avery Yates thought to herself, "Was she really stupid or playing dumb?"

"If she was really stupid, how could she climb into Nathan Shaw's bed?"

"I don't care if you understand or not. Anyway, I won't give up on Nate." Avery Yates sneered at her.

This time, Sierra Moore did not say "Oh". Instead, she blinked at Avery Yates and said in confusion, "But we are already together!"

These words were so matter-of-fact that they made Avery Yates go crazy with jealousy.

God knew how much Avery Yates wanted to say these words as well. She also hoped that one day, she could openly tell everyone that they were together and that it was not her wishful thinking.

Amy received a phone call. When she came out, she saw Avery Yates talking to someone. She thought the person was an annoying fan, so she quickly came over with a bottle of mineral water.

As she got closer, she gradually slowed down as she recognized the identity of the person.

She felt the atmosphere between the two was somewhat strange and that it did not seem very pleasant!

Seeing the coldness in Avery Yates's eyes, Amy was really afraid that this lady would cause her trouble. Now, she could not make Nathan Shaw angry again.

"Avery Yates, the preparations are almost done. Everyone is waiting for you to come in!" Amy hurriedly walked over with water before Beauty Nate got angry.

Avery Yates glanced at Amy, and then she turned to look at Sierra Moore. "It's still too early to talk about who wins and who loses. Miss Moore, you best behave yourself."

Her words were like a fishbone stuck in Sierra Moore's throat, which was really infuriating!

Feeling troubled, Sierra Moore took a taxi back to the company. She called to ask and found out that Nathan Shaw had already gone out in the afternoon. It seemed that he had no time to accompany her for dinner tonight.

Thinking of the terrible first day, Sierra Moore felt even more depressed. She packed up her things and went straight to get off work.

After eating Wendy's love-infused dinner, Sierra Moore went upstairs, took a shower, sat in bed, and played with her phone, but her eyes occasionally glanced at the alarm clock at the bedside.

It was already past eleven o'clock and Nathan Shaw had yet to return.

Sierra Moore did not dare to make a phone call. She was afraid that it would affect his work. She knew in her heart that Skyreach Corporation was such a large group company that he had to support thousands of people. His life was not as bright and brilliant as it looked.

She was just a little worried about him. He had been back so late these past few days, and every time he smelled like alcohol. She wondered if he could hold on.

When he came back a few days ago, she couldn't wait to fall asleep. It had been a long time since she had talked to him properly, so today, Sierra Moore was determined to wait for him to come back.

After playing the game for a while and feeling bored, she began to watch a movie, a very old French movie.

It was already past twelve o'clock, and the whole world was quiet. Occasionally, a barking sound could be heard, but it was too far away to be heard clearly.

In the end, before Sierra Moore could finish watching a movie, she fell asleep.

When Nathan Shaw came back, it was already early in the morning. He did not turn on the light, afraid of waking the person on the bed. After returning home, he directly went to the bathroom to take a shower.

After taking a shower, he saw that there seemed to be light on the bed. After searching for a while, he found that it was a tablet computer wrapped in a quilt.

The scene was still playing. It was an old French movie. The two-hour movie was coming to an end.

Perhaps he woke her up when he was looking for the tablet. Nathan Shaw had just lifted the quilt when he saw the person whose sleeping posture was bad turn over and ask in a daze, "Oh, you're back!"

"Alright." Nathan Shaw only thought that this person was sleep-talking. He gently touched her head, turned around, and took a pill with cold water.

Unexpectedly, when he turned around, he saw that this person actually propped herself up, and rubbed her eyes as she asked him, "Oh, what time is it now?"

He thought to himself, "Was she in a daze?"

Nathan Shaw rubbed her hair and said, "Two o'clock."

"It's so late!"

Sierra Moore finally opened one of her eyes. She shifted her lazy gaze, looking for the target in the dark. "Nathan Shaw."

"I'm here." He reached out and grabbed her randomly waving hand, which was a little cold. He thought it must be because her arm became frozen outside just now.

Nathan Shaw grabbed her arm and put it under the quilt. He held it in both hands to warm her up. Unexpectedly, this person was insatiable. Her whole body leaned over.

The sleepy person's voice was soft. She forced her eyes open and said, "You drank again. Is your stomach very uncomfortable?"

Without waiting for Nathan Shaw to reply, she continued, "I asked Wendy to leave some chicken soup for you and simmer it in the pot. I will bring it for you to drink."

As she spoke, she was about to get up, but Nathan Shaw pressed down on her shoulder and stuffed her back into the quilt.

"Nathan Shaw."

Just as Sierra Moore was about to struggle, Nathan Shaw hugged her and refused to let her move. He lowered his head to look for her lips and swallowed all the words she wanted to say.

What a strong smell of alcohol. Sierra Moore shook her head uncomfortably and scolded him in a low voice, "Drunkard!"

Nathan Shaw curled his lips into a smile and looked into her eyes dotingly. Looking at her dark eyes that were opening and closing secretly, he felt his heart filled with warmth.

"Chicken soup." She still remembered this matter.

"I can drink the chicken soup tomorrow, but I've been hungry for a long time. How are you going to solve it?" Nathan Shaw pulled her into his arms under the quilt as his hands became naughty.

In the dark, her eyes were blurry as she slowly opened them. Then, she closed them again. The sleepy person said in a daze, "Actually, I have been hungry for a long time."

She turned around and wanted to go to sleep. How could Nathan Shaw let her do as she wished? He just turned her over and asked her, "What do you mean? Speak clearly, or I won't let you sleep."

He kept harassing her, and Sierra Moore muttered discontentedly, "Don't show up in front of me after you take a shower. I am afraid that I will die from a nosebleed someday!"

In other words, he was not the only one who was hungry. This woman indeed very desired his body.

"What a good girl." Nathan Shaw smiled happily.

Sierra Moore was so sleepy that she avoided his harassment and hugged his waist. "Brother, stop messing around. I'm so sleepy."

Every time he bullied her, no matter how he forced her, she refused to call him brother. Now, she called him brother very smoothly.

Nathan Shaw's heart suddenly moved. A dangerous light flashed in his eyes. Although he had great patience to wait, it seemed that he should not wrong himself.

"Sisi, if you call me brother again, I'll let you sleep." He pinched Sierra Moore's face and shook it back and forth, not allowing her to sleep. He was deliberately teasing her.

"Brother." Sierra Moore opened her eyes with difficulty and looked at him.

As soon as the word came out of her mouth, Nathan Shaw bit her lips, not letting her say a single word. Sierra Moore whined in his arms and resisted, but in the end, she was still bullied until tears welled up in her eyes.

"Nathan Shaw!" This time, the sleepy bug was scared away. Sierra Moore stared at him with dissatisfaction, but his eyes were curved and full of smiles.

He lowered his head and pressed it against her forehead. "Call me brother again."

"I won't!" Sierra Moore was not stupid at this time. She knew that if she called him again, she would not need to sleep tonight.

She struggled a few times but could not break free. She could only let him hold her. A hand quietly reached over and pressed on his stomach. "Nathan Shaw, be good. Don't let me worry."

These were clearly very silly words, but they were more precious than any sweet words. His girl felt sorry for him!

"What a good baby," Nathan Shaw said as he pressed her into his embrace, his muffled laughter causing his chest to tremble.

"I'm so sleepy. Go to sleep!" Sierra Moore answered vaguely.

"Sisi." Nathan Shaw lowered his head and kissed the top of her head. In the dark, he softly asked her, "If there hadn't been that cheque back then and I hadn't let you go, are you willing to stay with me?"

Nathan Shaw held his breath and waited for a while. However, he heard the sound of even breathing. He could not help but feel a little annoyed. At such a critical moment, she actually fell asleep.
