Chapter 121 You Heard It Wrong

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "It would be good if she did not bully others. Who would bully her?"

Nathan Shaw sneered. If not for the fact that Elsa Foster's surname was Ling, he wouldn't have let her off just because of what she said to Sierra Moore.

"You better watch her closely. Don't let her appear in front of me again."

"So, she grits her teeth from anger every day because of you?" Henry Foster thought for a long time before finally understanding. He was so anxious that he spoke in his mother tongue.

What answered him was a cold snort followed by a busy tone.

As a result, the person on the other side of the ocean beat his chest and stamped his feet, thinking to himself, "Brother, you are entrapping me!"

This was the first time Sierra Moore had seen Nathan Shaw smile so horribly. She moved her feet and wanted to stay away from him so that he would not turn his anger on her. However, she was curious about the person on the other side of the line.

After the call, Nathan Shaw suddenly looked at her and said, "Tomorrow, come back with me."

"Where are we going tomorrow?" Sierra Moore asked in confusion.

Only then did Nathan Shaw remember that he had never told her about his family, and she never asked. He thought to himself, "It is really because she doesn't care that she is so heartless!"

Nathan Shaw felt uncomfortable inside and glanced at her coldly. "To the Shaw Family. My grandfather wants to see you."

"Nathan Shaw's grandfather?" Sierra Moore thought to herself.

"What? What do you mean?" Sierra Moore asked in horror.

Originally, he was just a little depressed. When he saw her frightened expression, Nathan Shaw's face darkened even more. He pursed his lips and looked at her. "Don't play dumb. You know what I mean."

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "I don't want to know!"

Sierra Moore said with a sullen face and tried to persuade him to withdraw this idea, "Nathan Shaw, how long have we known each other? Isn't it too fast to meet with your family?"

"Nates, not long ago," Nathan Shaw reminded her, "Just six years and seven months."

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Six years or something..."

Sierra Moore looked defeated, but she thought she had only known him for three months!

"Can I not go?" She looked down at her fingers and asked weakly.

"What do you think?" Nathan Shaw sneered at her.

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "Now that the time is not yet right, I do not want to go back, let alone bring her with me."

However, he had received several calls from the House of the Shaws to urge him to go back. If he did not go back this time, he was afraid that Mr. Shaw would personally go out of the manor to inspect him.

It was time for Mr. Shaw's granddaughter-in-law, who owed him a home visit in six years, to go back and meet him.

"Sleep early tonight." Nathan Shaw made the final decision, leaving behind Sierra Moore who looked conflicted.

Nathan Shaw had always been a man of his word, so early in the morning the next day, Nathan Shaw did not wait for her to refuse and directly took the person who had not yet woken up into the car.

It had been snowing the whole day, and the outside world was already covered by a white thick layer, like the cream on a cake.

Sierra Moore had obviously been waiting for the snow for a long time, but she did not have the mood to appreciate it at this moment. She sat in the car. Her heart was a mess, and she could not calm down at all.

Nathan Shaw closed his eyes and listened to the little girl next to him moving around. She twisted her body and sighed. She could not be quiet for a moment.

She always had the ability to provoke him. Unable to bear it any longer, Nathan Shaw opened his eyes and looked over with his dark eyes, warning, "Sierra Moore!"

Every time he called her by her name, it was a sign of anger. Sierra Moore had long known his temper. She shrank her neck and turned to look at him.

This pitiful appearance instantly pleased Nathan Shaw. He could forget about the depression in his heart, so why should he be angry with this idiot?

"What?" Nathan Shaw reached out and pulled her into his arms. He looked down at her pale lips and asked, "Are you very nervous?"

"Do you think your family will not like me if you suddenly take me home? Do they know that we were married and divorced again?" Sierra Moore nodded.

It turned out that she was restless and had so many questions hidden in her heart.

Nathan Shaw chuckled. For some reason, Sierra Moore felt that there was some mockery in his smile. Just as she was about to turn around and ignore him, she heard the annoying voice say, "What? Even an ugly wife has to meet her in-laws eventually. Are you afraid of it?"

With one sentence, Sierra Moore felt inferior. The little girl pursed her lips and said, "What? Do you think I'm ugly? Then go find a beautiful one and bring her home!"

Well, this was a misunderstanding.

"Who else could it be other than you?" Nathan Shaw sighed and coaxed her patiently.

In his life, other than that ridiculous accident after he got drunk, when had he, Nathan Shaw, ever cared so much about a person?

Sierra Moore was pouting unhappily when she heard a soft sigh from the top of her head. He said softly like it was a dream, "It doesn't matter if they like you or not, as long as I like you."

There was obviously some kind of consolation in these words. Moreover, it was a very clumsy consolation, but it was completely useless. On the contrary, it made Sierra Moore even more worried.

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Did he mean that his family might not like me very much, so he just gave me a precautionary measure?"

"Eh? Wait, there seems to be something wrong!"

She blinked again and again.

"Nathan Shaw, did you just say that you like me?" Sierra Moore suddenly raised her head and knocked his chin on the top of her head. Her eyes suddenly fixed on him.

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "Did I?"

"The car will be driving for two hours. If you are tired, you can sleep for a while. I will wake you up when it is time." Nathan Shaw rubbed his chin and looked at her casually.

"Don't change the subject," Sierra Moore pounced on him and grabbed his neck to interrogate him, "Hurry up and admit it. Did you just say that you like me?"

There was a tinge of suspicion on her healthy skin color. Nathan Shaw could not admit that he had let his tongue slip, so he deliberately looked at her with a straight face. "You heard it wrong."

"Of course not." At this moment, Sierra Moore was full of courage. She glared and said, "You just said that you like me."

Nathan Shaw looked down at her, thinking to himself, "She really likes to go to the bottom of things." With eyelids lowering slightly, his eyes were so deep as to be bottomless.

The back seat's dam-board slowly rose, but a certain someone had not discovered the approaching danger. Ken, who was in front, quickly glanced at the rearview mirror. His eyes flashed, and he began to mourn for a certain person in his heart.

However, he had also heard what Nathan Shaw had just said.

Ken thought to himself, "He must like her!"

"Otherwise, how could he have done this for her? From the day I met Boss in Italy, I have never seen him be so patient with anyone."

Nathan Shaw wanted to get away with it, but she refused to let it go. She was noisy around his ears. "Nathan Shaw, say it one more time. Say it!"

Nathan Shaw smiled and said to the woman in his arms, "It's a long journey. Since you are so energetic, why don't we do something else?"

Sierra Moore was stunned for a moment and suddenly felt that the temperature in the car seemed to be getting higher and higher.

It was as if Nathan Shaw had the same feeling. He raised his hand and slowly unbuckled his shirt. One buckle. Two buckles.

This casual look was so handsome that she could not move her eyes away.

Sierra Moore blinked and thought to herself, "Such a simple action is so charming while he did it. That face is really too handsome!"

Looking at his slightly curved lips, Sierra Moore carefully swallowed her saliva. "Well, Nathan Shaw, it's fine if you don't want to say it. Don't be a rogue!"

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Would it be too late to quit now?"

The more he didn't speak, the more uncertain she was. Sierra Moore gritted her teeth and thought to herself, "So what if I die!"

Being pampered, Sierra Moore struck her gentle fist on his shoulder. "I don't care! I'm still a patient now. You can't bully me."

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "Now that you know that you are sick. Why didn't you remember it when you were messing around in the snow yesterday?"

He held her shoulders with both hands and gently pushed the reckless person away. Mr. Shaw raised his eyebrows. "Sisi, am I too indulgent with you?"

"You are spoilt by me to be unruly."

Sierra Moore stared at his tightly pursed lips and giggled like a lackey. "No, no. Your majesty, I am very obedient."

Ever since she returned the money to him, she had upgraded herself from a servant to a concubine.

Although she was pretending to be obedient, she successfully made Nathan Shaw laugh. He raised his hand and knocked on her head, saying, "It seems that you are certain that I will not do anything to you."

"Hehe."

"Aren't I spoiled by you?" Sierra Moore asked as she leaned her head on his shoulder, putting up two fingers in a V-shape in her heart.

Her words were filled with confidence, and she didnt bother to be polite at all.

Nathan Shaw smiled. He hugged her with one hand and pulled her into his arms. Perhaps she was really tired. Moreover, she hadnt recovered from the cold yet. She fell asleep after a while.

Sierra Moore slept the entire way.

The car slowly drove into a mountainous area. From afar, one could see a corner of a house hidden in the forest.

When Sierra Moore opened her eyes, she was extremely shocked. She thought that she had crossed into another world, but the road outside the window was still familiar. She thought to herself, "Have I crossed into a deep forest?"

She tilted her head to look at the person resting with his eyes closed. She poked his arm with her finger and asked him in a small voice, "Nathan Shaw, where exactly is your home?"

She thought to herself, "It can't be a primitive tribe in a mountain valley, right?"

"It seems that only this kind of place could raise someone like Nathan Shaw. In other words, I did not wrongly accuse him. Is Mr. Shaw really not a human?"

Nathan Shaw was actually not asleep. When he heard the voice, he opened his eyes and looked at her. He did not know what Sierra Moore was thinking at the moment. He only heard her mention that word.

"Home." The home she was talking about had long been useless. Thinking about it, he had not returned home for almost half a year!

"Nathan Shaw?"

Just as Sierra Moore was having a brainwave, she turned around and saw the loneliness deep in Nathan Shaw's eyes. The mess in her mind suddenly dissipated.

Sierra Moore looked at him in surprise. She didn't understand why Mr. Shaw looked so unhappy when they were about to arrive home.

At this moment, he did not speak, nor did he give her a look. He just quietly looked out the window, his eyes seemingly unable to contain any scenery.

The emptiness at this moment was so lonely that it made her feel scared.

Nathan Shaw's appearance made Sierra Moore feel very strange. She hurriedly reached out to hold his hand. "Nathan Shaw, what's wrong?"

Sierra Moore finally realized that Nathan Shaw had never mentioned his family.

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "What kind of family was he born in?"

"That is why he has such a cold and detached personality today."

Sierra Moore thought that as his ex-wife, she seemed to be very unqualified. She did not know anything about him at all. She did not know anything about his family, his thoughts, and everything about him.

Feeling that she was pulling his hand, Nathan Shaw finally turned his head and unexpectedly met a pair of worried eyes.
