Chapter 125 An Old Photo Album

After Nathan Shaw finished speaking, it was as if there were only the two of them left in the entire world. All of a sudden, it was so quiet that it was frightening.

"I didn't know you... I'm sorry!" Sierra Moore twisted her fingers and looked at him at a loss.

Seeing how frightened she was, Nathan Shaw felt his heart soften and he waved at her. "Come here."

Sierra Moore walked over, her eyes still red. She looked into his eyes and asked earnestly, "Nathan Shaw, why didn't you say anything?"

He was still in the mood to joke around. He hooked a strand of her hair with his finger and said calmly, "You didn't ask me."

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Can't you just tell me if you didn't ask?"

Mr. Shaw was simply twisting his words. Sierra Moore pouted in dissatisfaction and said in a gambling tone, "It's fine if you don't want to say it."

Nathan Shaw thought to himself, "Was this considered a rage out of humiliation?"

Compared to the previous blind fear and obedience, Sierra Moore's appearance now was obviously more adorable.

Nathan Shaw smiled and slowly walked to the window. He reached out and pushed open a window. The cold wind outside the window suddenly poured in, mixed with a few snowflakes floating in.

He stood at the mouth of the wind, turned around, and said to the person behind him who was still in a dilemma, "Before I go abroad, all my memories are in this house. If you want to know anything, you can find the answer yourself."

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "I can find the answer myself. This method sounds good. Maybe Nathan Shaw won't say it because he is shy."

However, she asked, "When did you leave the country?"

Nathan Shaw's eyes, which were as dark as the night, trembled for a moment as if he was inadvertently answering her, "When I was sixteen."

The sixteen-year-old boy met the girl who had just lost her parents at the funeral. Many things had happened that day, but he could not forget the crying appearance of the girl.

That day, she told him that he would not cry as long as he ate the candy.

After many years when they reunited, he felt extremely fortunate to this day. The heavens finally blessed him once. It caused him to be trapped in a dire situation. However, it also gave him a ray of light.

He thought to himself, "Sisi, you are my savior. From now on, I can stand under the sunlight and feel a bit of beauty."

"That's what you said. See if I can find out all your embarrassing things today." Sierra Moore finally got permission and began searching everywhere.

She was rummaging through boxes and cabinets, but her actions were not that rude. She deliberately made some noise, just to see if this person would stop her.

After a while, seeing that Nathan Shaw ignored her and even left her alone, Sierra Moore felt bored and stopped making a fuss.

There was a bookshelf in the room. There were many books on it. There were a few plane models on the table next to it. It was obvious that these plane models were made a long time ago, and they were kept very well. It could be seen how much the owner treasured them.

After seeing these models one by one, Sierra Moore began to flip through the books on his bookshelf.

When Nathan Shaw went to school, he should have been a top student because she found a box from the cabinet under the desk. It was a whole box of awards and trophies.

Apart from that, there was also an old photo album that had turned yellow.

"It's a photo album!" Finally, she found something good. Sierra Moore hugged the photo album excitedly and sat down, spreading it out on the book table.

Opening the photo album, it was a photo of a baby's 100th day anniversary after the birth. The chubby child was facing the camera. His eyebrows were furrowed and he looked serious. There were also the words "100th day anniversary" written next to it.

Sierra Moore carefully looked at the baby's expression as if she had discovered something fun. Sierra Moore could not help but laugh out loud, "Nathan Shaw, you were so serious when you were young!"

She continued to flip backward and smiled as she looked at it. "Speaking of which, Nathan Shaw was so cute when he was young! Hurry up and give your sister a kiss."

The door of the room was open and her laughter was unrestrained. Nathan Shaw had heard it in another room and could not help but look over. He saw that she was holding a photo album and laughing uncontrollably.

Nathan Shaw did not even remember that there was such a photo album here. This time, Sierra Moore would have to look at all the photos from when he was a child.

Originally, he wanted to stop her, but seeing her smile so heartlessly, in the end, he just shook his head and let her be.

Sierra Moore flipped backward and laughed. When he was young, Nathan Shaw was really cute. There was also a photo of him taking a shower.

The one or two-year-old child was sitting naked in the bathtub, holding his eyebrows and looking at the camera with a look of dissatisfaction.

Seeing this, Sierra Moore couldn't help but laugh again, because the child in the photo was holding the little penis with both hands. "Nathan Shaw, you were shy when you were so young!"

"Hahaha..."

From time to time, a certain person's laughter rang out in the room. Nathan Shaw could not bear it any longer and walked over to stand behind her. He held the table with his hands and trapped her between his arms.

Sierra Moore did not notice. She smiled as she flipped through the photos. She realized that Nathan Shaw was smiling in none of these photos.

As she flipped backward, there were a few photos of him and his family. Sierra Moore finally saw Nathan Shaw's parents.

The man was dressed in a suit. From his appearance, he was a typical model of a tall, rich, and handsome man in a novel. The woman was wearing a light-yellow long dress. Her long wavy hair hung down her waist. She was beautiful beyond recognition.

It was this pair of excellent parents who raised such an outstanding son.

Sierra Moore had no time to lament her good luck because she had recognized the person in the photo. Although a long time had passed, her beauty did not fade.

"Evelyn Foster?" Sierra Moore screamed and got up. "Nathan Shaw's mother is the big star Evelyn Foster?"

Because her movements were too fast, Nathan Shaw had no time to avoid her. His chin was severely hit, and the pain made his face turn white. He rubbed his chin and called her name dangerously, "Su! Mo!"

She always had the ability to make him angry.

Only then did Sierra Moore notice him. Regardless of whether his expression was ugly or not, she hugged his arm to verify, "It's Evelyn Foster, right? Nathan Shaw, your mother is a first-rate big shot Evelyn Foster, right?"

She felt it was too dramatic!

She hurried to explain, "Do you know? I like Evelyn Foster the most among the domestic female stars. I have seen all the movies she made. I didn't expect her to be your mother. This is incredible."

She seemed to be too excited and did not realize that she had done something wrong. She even hugged his arm and jumped around, her mouth chattering incessantly, making him have a headache.

Nathan Shaw frowned slightly and lowered his head to seal her chattering mouth. Since they didn't owe each other anything now, some things should be brought forward.

He had waited for too long.

After the "communication" just now, Sierra Moore was obviously much more honest. She sat on his lap and watched the photos with him.

Nathan Shaw was in a good mood. Occasionally, he would take the initiative to talk about the life of the people in the photos. Sierra Moore listened very seriously.

Looking at these photos again, Nathan Shaw felt as if a lifetime had passed.

When he left back then, he did not take anything away from there because he did not want to think too much about it. Unexpectedly, when he looked at these things again, he did not feel angry or sad, or perhaps his mind had changed.

Nathan Shaw's father was the boss of an entertainment company. The love history between him and the big star, Evelyn Foster, had once been spread as a good story.

Sierra Moore still remembered that when she first fell in love with Evelyn Foster, she had searched for information on her online. Some said that she liked to play big cards, some said that she had plastic surgery, and some said that she had depended on men to be superior.

However, none of these was enough to conceal her brilliance. She walked all the way to the top of honor and then suddenly made an unexpected decision.

When her career was at its peak, she suddenly announced that she would quit the entertainment industry and resolutely married someone, leaving a legendary story for the entertainment industry.

At that time, this matter shocked the entire film industry. For a long time, the media had been following and reporting on this matter. That wedding at the golden age had once made countless women envious.

Later, her whereabouts became a mystery. Occasionally, reporters would take photos of her shopping with her family. She was still glamorous, but she had the charm of a mature woman.

Just like that, Evelyn Foster slowly faded from the public's view. In the next few years, there were very few reports about her. It was only until the media released news of her death.

Such an excellent actress ended up in the state of being envied by the heavens. At that time, her death caused a great sensation and left regrets for all film lovers.

There were many rumors about her cause of death. Some people said that her life after marriage was not harmonious. After she gave birth to a child, she suffered from depression. She lost her mind and finally slit her wrist to commit suicide, ending her short but wonderful life.

Some people said that she was seriously ill and passed away.

Sierra Moore did not believe the first reason.

She looked at the woman in the photo album, thinking to herself, "How could such a proud woman let herself end up in such a sorry state?"

She flipped through the photo album page by page and saw Nathan Shaw in primary school. Then she saw him in the middle school uniform. After that, there were no more photos and everything was blank.

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "He said that he went abroad at the age of sixteen. Could it be related to his mother's death?"

After flipping through the photo album twice, Sierra Moore closed the photo album and turned around to hug the person behind her. "Nathan Shaw, I can understand your feelings, because we are all the same."

She also had no parents, so she could understand the pain of losing her loved ones the best.

She just felt that Nathan Shaw should not have been like this. He deserved to be better.

"Nathan Shaw, are you still sad?" She hugged Nathan Shaw's waist, the corners of her eyes wet with his shirt, leaving a puddle of water.

In fact, it had been so long, and no matter how much he was sad, the sadness had already faded away.

Nathan Shaw shook his head gently and patted her back. "Is there anything you want to ask?"

"No more," Sierra Moore shook her head in his arms and said to him, "If my questions make you think of those unhappy things, I would rather not know anything."

With a wife like this, what else could a husband ask for?

Nathan Shaw sighed and rubbed her hair. "Come here. Let me show you something."

There was an apricot tree in the courtyard. The branches were covered in snow and nothing could be seen. However, Sierra Moore could feel that Nathan Shaw's mood was fluctuating.

She thought to herself, "This tree? He brought me to see a tree?"

Sierra Moore could not think of anything special about this tree. Nathan Shaw pulled her over and said, "This tree was planted on the day I was born. It has been over thirty years since then."

Sierra Moore thought to herself, "Oh, over thirty years!"

"What?"

"Over... Thirty..."
