Chapter 129 Hard to Be a Junior

When Sierra Moore did not sleep well, she was a little irritated. She opened her eyes and looked at Mr. Shaw who was sitting by the bed. She frowned and began to grind her teeth.

"Nathan Shaw, I'm going to kill you!"

As soon as she finished speaking, a piece of clothing flew over her head, accompanied by Nathan Shaw's cold voice, "Put on your clothes and come down."

"Young Master, the car is ready." Sofiu's voice came from downstairs.

As Nathan Shaw walked out, he said to the person who was about to fall behind him, "I'll give you ten minutes. You can sleep on the sofa if you're late!"

Sierra Moore had just fallen on the bed when she heard this. She immediately woke up. It was simply torture to let her sleep on the sofa on such a cold day!

After a struggle in her mind, she closed her eyes and began to put on her clothes.

After Sierra Moore got into the car, she had a chance to ask, "Nathan Shaw, where are you going so early in the morning?"

"To have breakfast," Nathan Shaw answered as he looked down at the newspaper in his hand.

These words caused the corners of Sierra Moore's eyes to twitch. Her lips moved. It wasn't easy for her to hold back her urge to swear. She thought to herself, "He dug me out of bed early in the morning just to eat breakfast?"

"It isn't even seven o'clock yet! Ah, seven!"

Later, Sierra Moore found out that this was the Shaw Family's rule. One could not attend lunch or dinner, but as long as one lived in the House of the Shaws, he had to attend breakfast on time.

When Nathan Shaw led Sierra Moore in, there were already four people sitting at the dining table. As juniors, the two of them were actually the last to arrive.

Iris May saw them come in and greeted them with a smile, "Nate and Sierra are here! Come and eat! Your grandfather and aunt have been waiting for a while."

When she thought about how she was dilly-dallying and refused to get up, Sierra Moore's beautiful face turned red. She felt embarrassed to let Old Master wait for her to eat.

"Grandfather, second aunt, Jasper, aunt."

Xiao Jasper smiled at him. "Eldest brother, Miss Moore, come and sit!"

Nathan Shaw nodded and pulled Sierra Moore over.

Just as he sat down, he heard Victoria Shaw say in an annoying tone, "How dare you ask our whole family to wait for you? Miss Moore is really knowledgeable!"

No matter who heard this, they would not feel good. Sierra Moore's eyes turned hot. Just as she was about to speak, a hand pressed on her hand.

She turned her head and heard Nathan Shaw say, "It was my fault. We slept a little late last night."

Nathan Shaw's words clearly had no other meaning, but when Sierra Moore saw the meaningful eyes on the opposite side, she could not help but blush.

Just as she was about to open her mouth to explain, she heard Mr. Shaw speak, "It's normal for young people to wake up late. Sierra! Did you sleep well last night?"

"I slept well. Thank you, grandpa." Sierra Moore nodded.

Samuel Shaw nodded. Victoria Shaw was unhappy. She looked at Sierra Moore sarcastically and said, "I heard that Miss Moore just came back from abroad. I wonder if you were used to eating Chinese breakfast when you were abroad?"

Sierra Moore quickly waved her hand and said, "I was used to it. When I was in school, I missed my hometown's porridge, fried bread sticks, and side dishes the most."

"Your explanation sounds better than singing," Victoria Shaw still wanted to speak, but she heard Samuel Shaw knock on the table with his chopsticks. "Eat well!"

No talk during eating. When the old man spoke, no one dared to say another word.

After breakfast, the family moved to the living room, drinking tea and chatting.

Samuel Shaw was old, and it was easy for him to get tired. After saying a few words, he went upstairs to rest. Once he left, Victoria Shaw no longer had any scruples and no longer needed to endure anything.

"Miss Moore."

As soon as she opened her mouth, Sierra Moore reflexively trembled. Then, Sierra Moore gathered her courage and said to her, "Well, aunt, if you don't mind, you can call me Sierra like grandpa."

Victoria Shaw really wanted to say that she disliked it, but in front of Nathan Shaw, she didn't want to go too far.

Therefore, she nodded and said, "Since you and Nate are already together, as your aunt, I can't say much. But since you married into the Shaw Family, you have to follow the Shaw Family's rules."

"As the Shaw Family's granddaughter-in-law, you don't need to have three obediences and the four virtues of women in ancient times, but you still need to be educated and reasonable. How about this? You and Nate move back first. With my Mrs. Shaw by your side to educate you, I will be at ease.

As for those things which require you to expose yourself in the limelight, leave them to men to handle."

Sierra Moore's forehead was covered in sweat as she stammered, "This, that, actually I..."

"What do you mean by this?"

"Do you understand what I'm saying?" Victoria Shaw glared at her unhappily.

Sierra Moore swallowed quietly, thinking to herself, "Why did it sound like she was forcing me to compromise?"

She tugged at Nathan Shaw's sleeve and whispered to him for help, "Nathan Shaw, quickly tell aunt that I don't want to be a degenerate at home!"

In fact, according to Mr. Shaw, he also wanted Sierra Moore to be a degenerate at home, but it was a bit forceful to let them move back to the old house.

"Aunt, no need to worry. Sisi and I don't intend to move back," Nathan Shaw said casually.

As soon as he opened his mouth, Sierra Moore felt more than half relieved. In her opinion, as long as Nathan Shaw was unwilling to do something, no one could force him.

However, when Sierra Moore was happy, Victoria Shaw was unhappy, thinking to herself, "If being forceful doesnt work then Ill just have to be nice!" She went soft and tried to persuade him.

"Nate! Your grandfather is old now and can't stand more interferences. As his grandson, can't you follow his wishes a little? Don't make him angry every time you come back."

Nathan Shaw lowered his eyes and said indifferently, "In order not to anger him, I can't move back."

"You..." Victoria Shaw felt surprised that Nathan Shaw was able to win a round in this way. She pointed at him and did not speak for a long time. It almost scared Sierra Moore out of her wits.

At the side, Iris May quickly came out to mediate, "Speaking of which, we still don't know how old Sierra is this year? What does your family do?"

Sierra Moore glanced at Nathan Shaw. Seeing that he did not express anything, she said to Iris May, "I am 24 this year. My family used to do jewelry business."

"It's good to do business! It matches our Nate's social status."

Iris May smiled and asked her again, "Then, what other people do you have in your family? Now that you are married to Nate, we should find a time for our two families to meet up and have a good meal."

Speaking of this, Sierra Moore's eyes turned red. Nathan Shaw said on her behalf, "No need. Her parents passed away when she was a child. She is the only one left at home."

Unexpectedly, Sierra Moore was an orphan. Iris May was shocked. "I'm really sorry, Sierra!"

Sierra Moore shook her head. She had gotten used to it all these years.

For a moment, the atmosphere was a little awkward. At this time, Xiao Jasper suddenly asked, "I wonder how my sister-in-law met my Eldest Brother?"

He was indeed a little curious. He did not expect his Eldest Brother to like this type of girl.

"We met at the airport." Sierra Moore remembered the scene of hugging someone's thigh the moment they met. Her face suddenly became a little hot. She thought Nathan Shaw must have felt that she was in a very sorry state at that time.

She secretly went to take a glance at Nathan Shaw, but she did not expect to be caught red-handed by him. In her mind, she suddenly remembered he once said they met at a funeral.

He did not look like he was joking, but why did she not have any impression of him at all?

She thought she must find an opportunity to ask him about it.

After coming out of the living room, Sierra Moore let out a long breath. She used to feel bored in the villa, but now she realized that such an unrestrained life was really extravagant.

She really missed the days when she was in the villa.

She had just taken a few steps when she heard someone behind her say, "Sierra! Junwan and I are going shopping. If you have nothing to do at noon, come with us!"

Sierra Moore's footsteps froze in mid-air. After a long time, she turned her head and met Victoria Shaw's eleemosynary expression. She forced a smile and said, "Oh, okay!"

"I'll go tell Nathan Shaw."

When she returned to the living room, Nathan Shaw and Xiao Jasper turned to look at her together. The former asked her, "What's wrong?"

Sierra Moore squeezed out a smile. It was uglier than crying. It was obvious that she was asking for help. "Well, Nathan Shaw, I'm going shopping with Aunt May and your aunt."

Unexpectedly, Nathan Shaw only nodded. "Buy whatever you like when you go shopping. Did you bring a card?"

Sierra Moore nodded and shook her head. "It's in the luggage case. I will go back to fetch it later."

"Alright." Nathan Shaw no longer paid attention to her, but instead, Xiao Jasper looked at her with a funny smile. She turned back to look after every few steps as if she was determined to go to the execution ground.

Xiao Jasper looked at her with a fake smile and said, "Sister-in-law seems to be very reluctant to part with Eldest Brother. Aren't you going with her?"

When Nathan Shaw heard this, he raised his head to look at Sierra Moore. He saw her suddenly run back. She said with a forced smile, "Hubby, do you want to go with me?"

This was the first time she had called him hubby, but she called him so smoothly as if she had practiced it thousands of times.

His eyes were filled with surprise, but his face was still expressionless. However, the smile on his lips could not be blocked. He felt this woman was not that stupid.

Under Sierra Moore's expectant gaze, Nathan Shaw stood up and walked out while holding her hand. "I need to go back to the company. I'll send you to the mall first."

Nathan Shaw drove them to the mall. After confirming the time, he returned to the company alone.

Although Sierra Moore was not able to let him stay as she wished, she was also very grateful for the hard work when Mr. Shaw had personally escorted her. She smiled and went shopping with Iris May and Victoria Shaw.

Women were born to go shopping. Everyone was a shopping maniac, but only Sierra Moore was a weirdo. She hated going shopping the most. Every time she went shopping, she almost fell asleep.

However, she was here to accompany her seniors today, so Sierra Moore was extremely alert.

When they passed by a gold store, Victoria Shaw and Iris May both took a fancy to a necklace, but the price of the necklace was too expensive. They glanced at it and hesitated.

Because Nathan Shaw had specifically reminded Sierra Moore before he left, she was very perceptive at this moment. She quickly ran over to pay the bill. "Beauty, wrap these two for me and swipe my card!"

This was the first time Sierra Moore felt so good when she swiped her card. Anyway, she spent his money, so she didn't feel distressed at all.

When they came out of the gold store, the smile on Iris May's face was obviously more sincere.

On the other hand, Victoria Shaw was a little unhappy. She even said that Sierra Moore should learn how to be thrifty and could not be so extravagant with her pocket money.
